In Priceless (book 1 in duet) philanthropist and heir Ivan Everley, 8th Baron Rothvale aka Mr. Ivanhoe (Ethan Blackstone’s cousin) is in route to The Annual Mallerton Society Gala for the Arts where he is to meet up with his escort for the night. Priceless was great opening of the Rothvale series!! As a fan of the Blackstone Affair series, I’d been dying and dying for Ivan and Gaby’s story to be finally revealed and was not disappointed!
For those of you who had read the short teaser of Priceless from the anthology compilation called Stories for Amanda, you already know how these two met (as we are also given glimpse aftermath snapshots of it in the Blackstone Affair books) and are well aware that Ivan is the cousin of Ethan and Gabrielle “Gaby” is Brynne’s bestie.

He leido varios libros de la autora, por lo que estoy bastante familiarizada con su forma de escribir, aun asi en este libro me sorprendio de una forma muy agradable.
Priceless fue una lectura ligera, rapida de leer y entretenida pero sin dejar de lado la profundidad y el buen desarrollo.
Si te gusto la saga The Affaire Blackstone estoy segura de que disfrutaras leyendo la historia de Ivan y Gabrielle.

A new series by the talented Raine Miller has arrived and what a beautiful story it is. Priceless, the first book in The Rothvale Legacy series is a book filled with so much anticipation. There is so much to know, so much to find out, so much chemistry between these two characters that have a past that have marked them. I think Gabrielle is the perfect heroine. There were times I wanted to just go and give her a cuddle. We see different parts of Ivan in the book and how I love to see him working it for his new interest. He is a man with a mission and there is no stopping him. We are introduced to new characters that truly captivated me in this story. Humor, drama, sadness, happiness, nostalgia, passion, flirtatiousness, playfulness, tenderness, conquering…this book has it all! Congratulations to Raine Miller on another book that captivated me from beginning to end. I am in love with Ivan and Gaby!!

This was a great start to this spin-off of my favorite erotica series... The Blackstone Affair! Ivan is beautiful, dominating and arrogant which can work both for him or against him. In this case, with Gabrielle, he kind of gets off on the wrong foot! By the end of the book he seemed to be moving in the right direction. I am excited to see his character grow in the next book of the series. Gabrielle seems to be the medicine he needs to move past his trust issues.
Are we headed into Dom/Submissive territory? HHmmmm... not sure how I feel about that... what they have together sexually is already pretty darn good. Why mess with perfection? Yes, the sex scenes are definitely "HOT"! Raine Miller really knows how to steam up the pages. There wasn't a lot of shmexy time in this one... but, when it arrived it definitely hit the spot.
Priceless is mostly about these two playing a bit of cat and mouse and eventually coming together towards the end of the book. It's the "fill in the blanks book" because we finally find out what was going on when they were fleeing the building with flushed faces in the Blackstone Affair. Wasn't what I expected and definitely wasn't what Gabrielle expected when she showed up for the art show that night! Lord Ivan is a naughty boy...
The events of this story coincide with the events of Ethan and Brynne when they met... so there is quite a lot of walking down memory lane. Makes me want to go back and re-read their story again.
I'm really hoping we delve deeper into the past stories of these two in the next book. There are a few mysteries and unanswered questions still... especially with Gabrielle.
My favorite character in the book was Finnegan, the caretaker on Ivan's property... especially his clever code for telling Ivan off in his own distinctive way. Loved it...
Once again, another Priceless addition to my Raine Miller collection... Can't wait to see what comes next in book two... :)

This was a nice read.
This is the story of Gabrielle Hargreave, Brynn's (from The Blackstone Affair) roommate and best friend and Ivan Everley, Ethan's royalty and celebrity cousin.
Gabrielle Hargreave is a certified art expert and a student and she's 22 years old. Green eyes, mahogany hair she's really pretty. She's a pleasant heroine, smart, funny and with a strong personality.
Ivan Everley, 13th Baron Rothvale is in his early thirties, rich, a lord and a former Olympic champion. Sexy, green eyes and with an athletic body he's often in the gossip mags about his sex affairs. Ivan receives threatening messages from some sick fan and that together with the fact that he doesn't trust women makes him difficult with people in general.
He and Gaby meet in a Gala in some sort of mistaken identity situation, he thought she was the escort he has paid for the night and so he approaches her with the confidence of a client who wants to be serviced. The moment their eyes met they were so drown to each other that they had sex right there at the Gala, he still believing she was his escort and she spellbounded by the gorgeous stranger who gave her the best orgasm of her life.
Their story was really nice and cute, funny too. The sex frequency wasn't too high something I didn't appreciated, it only happens in the beginning and in the end of the book. I didn't like that some unimportant things were dragged for too long, too much details sometimes...the hero wasn't the king of sympathy at the first part of the book, he behaved like a real jerk...but I understand where he comes from. The book was a bit short though...now that they finally got together I wanted to enjoy it a bit longer...but unfortunately we have to wait for book 2.
Book 2 though promises better things and a dom/submissive sex affair between H/h.
It was a nice short royalty romance, so I recommend it for those who like the genre. -
Ivan, I have seen you around. You have showed up throughout the Blackstone Affair numerous times. You’re sexy and slightly brooding. Flippant and, yes, a tad arrogant, but that’s okay. I can see the pain from your past seeping in. The clouded thoughts of previous betrayals keeping you from happiness deserved and not yet found.
You didn’t plan on Gabrielle, your mistake leading to a kind of obsession. Did your angry, child like behavior ruin all chances with her? Did you cross a line in your haste to be cruel and obtuse? Did it really save your feelings and protect you? No, I think not. What will you do now?
Ahhhh, if only I could chat up this Lord of lascivious behavior. Raine Miller, you’ve done it again. I am captivated by your world. Gabrielle is sweet and innocent….. to a point. The vulnerability I see in her is not one of inexperience or doe eyed affection. It hints, I feel, at a darker past, an abuse or emotional injustice served. I am enthralled with this story and where it might go. I find myself wanting to revisit The Blackstone Affair in order to uncover clues to what has shaped these two.
I am incredibly excited to begin the Rothvale Legacy journey. I hope love ensues and then prevails to become a Priceless imperfect kind of love the lasts.

Again, I am blown away by the fact that Raine Miller has written another brilliant story about a Brit, and if it wasn't for the fact that I know she is American I would never have been able to tell by her writing.
Ivan is EFFING HOT! Mitts off ladies, He.Is.Mine!!! A Lord and former Olympian who happens to have one hell of an art collection...Where do I sign up?? This book takes off from the get-go! Make sure you have a fan around to cool yourself down! Ivan will have your toes curling and your thighs clenching. OH MY LORD! IVAN! *sighs*
We have met Ivan being cocky and poised in the Blackstone Affair before. We also got some hints that there might be something going on between Ivan and Gaby. Now we get the confirmation in this new sexy, flirty, mysterious series.
It turns out there's more to Ivan than the cocky bastard, one who's lonely and hurt. Until he meets Gaby under very interesting circumstances. And from here on out...we see another side of Ivan. He fell for a mysterious woman who cast her spell over him. A woman that changes him, that gives him kinda hope that with her things will be different. He's willing to catch her every time she tries to run.
Gaby...funny, gorgeous, fashion-loving Gaby that has been the best friend for Brynne finds herself in a situation that she can't talk about. She's ashamed of it. It reminds her too much of her past. And yet, she can't resist the charming dominant persona that is Ivan. As much as she tries to run, Ivan will run for her. A fact she's very much afraid of.
The chemistry between them is like a firework and yet only starting as the end of book one promises. We already get hints that their past will haunt them. Whatever it is will be heartbreaking and probably bring us to tears. It will definitely influence their growing relationship and fights and arguments will test them for sure.
Raine Miller created another fabulous, awesome, beautiful, stunning spin-off to the Blackstone series. We go back in time and meet Brynne and Ethan again as well as Neil and Elaina and everyone else. It's the cherry on top!

All I can say is Hurry Up October!!!! Lord Ivan Everley, another hot, steamy, sexy, erotic character from Raine Miller. She definitely does not disappoint with this story. Was so glad to see that Ethan & Brynne as well as Neal and Elaina were in this story too. The only problem I had was it was way to short and now I'm left wanting so much more. This is a beginning to a super erotic love story. Can't wait for book 2.

¡Me he quedado planchadaaa! ¿¿Cómo que después de este libro publicado en 2016 no han traducido aún la segunda parte?? Me confié y di por hecho que ya había una segunda parte y cuando he ido a comprarlo en Amazon se me ha quedado una cara de tonta al ver que solo estaba en inglés…
Ya había leído a esta autora con anterioridad, “El Affaire Blackstone”. El primer libro me gustó, el segundo no tanto y olvidé esta serie.
Esta vez he querido darle otra oportunidad, pues hay que decir que esta autora sabe enganchar con sus letras. No vas a encontrar libros profundos pero si adictivos. Además es una autora que va al grano y no hay relleno, por ello sus libros suelen ser cortos.
En esta trama podría diferenciar perfectamente dos mitades. La primera de ellas me gustó bastante, hay argumento y es original. La segunda es sexo, sexo y más sexo. Lo peor que no es un libro autoconclusivo y queda abierto, de ahí mi rabia que no esté el libro en español.
En cuanto a personajes decir que tanto Gaby como Ivan me gustaron y me parecieron personajes fuertes.
❗️Recomendaría esta lectura. Si no ha salido en español y no eres capaz de leer un libro en inglés, como es mi caso, te aconsejaría que esperases a ver si la editorial se anima a no dejarnos tirada.

Unexpected
Absolutely fabulous read! Raine has written a story that had me captivated from that first encounter with our lead lady Gabby.
Ivan’s character is swoon worthy, I’m not sure if it’s the accent ( yes I’m picturing it in my head) or his arrogance. He may seem laid back but I guarantee there’s more to this man. Like puzzle I’m trying to put it all together. His initial meeting with Gabby is one for the records, the case of mistaken identity leads to one of the most erotic encounters of his life. When she flees he’s on a mission to get her back.
Gabby is also one for secrets, I’m dying to know what hurt she’s hiding. Her encounter with Ivan left her embarrassed and ashamed. What the hell did she just do?
When these two meet again it’s explosive. Ivan under the wrong assumptions puts his foot in it. Gabby is hurt and runs. That seems to be her MO, running.
But fate has a way of making sure the people that are on your path are put back there. These two will rock your world.

There’s always something special in a Raine Miller book. There’s a singular elegance and seductiveness that simply dazzles me from the start. Priceless is no different. I was already intrigued with Ivan, Ethan’s cousin, and loved Brynne’s friend, Gaby, and this story just beguiled me all the more. It felt like a beginning brimming with possibility. It was the provocative prelude to what will assuredly be one ravishing ride. Their romance is rife with a duel of conflicting feelings: antagonism and need, hate and passion, submission and possession.
The last thing Lord Ivan needs is more drama. His life is a mystery, and one that so many have been intent on exploiting. So when he orders an escort for the annual Mallerton Society event, it’s a woman in an emerald green dress he seeks as his companion for the evening. And when he finds her, he is struck by her beauty. Enticed to take her right then and there. She’s just as affected by him too. There are secrets that remain uncovered. Lord Ivan has been betrayed, but the mystery remains as to the how and why and who of it. As I mentioned above, this book to me was a delicious, sexy prelude to what’s to come. I expect we’ll touch on the world of BDSM, discover the truths behind Ivan’s past and see how it all plays out. I loved Ivan’s eccentric and enigmatic personality and loved seeing him together with Gaby. I loved seeing more of Ethan and Brynne and seeing them all interact. I can’t wait to devour more of this story and see what will happen next.

Raine Miller has done it again, she has made me fall in love with another gorgeous heartthrob and beautiful, strong heroine. We were first introduced to Ivan Everly and Gabrielle Hargreave in Raine's previous series The Blackstone Affair, but in all honesty if I hadn't already met them, I would have still fallen in love with them in Priceless. Ivan is Lord Ivan, a reluctant aristocrat who could really care less about the title and what comes with it. We get glimpses throughout the story that there has been some betrayal in his past, something bad enough that caused a disastrous marriage and has now sworn Ivan off of relationships to the point that he only uses a discreet escort service for his "dates". Gabrielle Hargreave is a graduate student at the University of London studying Art Conservation, who we also get glimpses of some issues in her past that have sworn her off relationships also.
A chance encounter involving a case of mistaken identity throws Ivan and Gaby together and the sparks fly immediately. One thing I absolutely love about Raine Miller is that she can write hot, steamy sex! The first time Ivan gets Gaby alone at a function happening in the National Gallery, I swear my glasses fogged up!! But their time together is abruptly cut short by a bomb scare and Gaby disappears on Ivan. Ivan unsuccessfully tries to find Gaby, and she spends her time trying to figure out how she let herself succumb to this total stranger's charms.

Fate keeps throwing these two together when Gaby is sent to Ivan's Ireland estate to catalog his massive collection of art. And again when Gaby and Ivan stand up for Ethan and Brynne at their wedding. The chemistry is still there, stronger than ever and Gaby can no longer resist Ivan's charms. And once she relents, the sparks between these two practically set the pages of my book on fire!! OK...so I was reading on my Kindle but you get the point.
Raine does a brilliant job of rolling out the backstory of Ivan and Gaby, giving the reader hints of things that have occurred in their pasts, things that have shaped our characters into the people they are today. I was immediately drawn into this story, trying my damnedest to pull out the clues and hints that would reveal what the circumstances were that happened to these two beautiful people.
"But Ivan, you need to know...I'm scared." I blurted honestly. It was the truth and he should know it coming from me. "Of me?" He frowned, looking bothered by my declaration. "No." I shook my head. "I'm scared of me." ~Gabrielle
Hmmm, why would Gabrielle possibly be scared of herself? What has happened to her? We learn that Ivan had a disastrous marriage, but we don't get as clear a picture of what has occurred with Gaby. That, hopefully, we will find out in the 2nd book, My Lord, which is scheduled to release in late October. I, for one, can't wait to find out more about Ivan and Gaby in their next book, but truthfully I just want to read more of their hotter than hot sex scenes!! As I mentioned before, Raine knows how to write sex...and based on how this book ends, I get the feeling we're going to be treated to a lot more of it, along with a generous sprinkling of KINK... -
Cada vez que Raine Miller escribe un libro, yo tengo que leerlo. Inestimable ha sido un libro muy anticipado ya que conocimos a Gaby e Ivan en la serie de El Affaire Blackstone. Gaby es la mejor amiga de Brynne e Ivan es el primo de Ethan Blackstone. Desde un principio Brynne quería que Ivan y Gaby se conocieran, quería presentarlos. Hay tantas cosas por saber, encontrar, tanta quimica entre estos dos personajes que tienen un pasado que ha sido obviamente marcado por el dolor y el sufrimiento.
Para mi Gabrielle es la heroina perfecta. Hubo veces que me hubiera gustado poder ir y abrazarla por todo lo que pasó al principio. Vemos diferentes facetas de Ivan en este libro y como me encanta verlo luchar por su nuevo interes. El es un hombre con una misión y no hay nada que lo va a detener. También conocemos personajes nuevos que realmente me cautivaron.

I have been looking forward to book this and it did not disappoint! Raine Miller set this book up perfectly. I wanted to jump right into the next one-October can't come soon enough. I Love Ivan And Gaby!!! Ivan has a fifthly mouth and a beautiful heart when it comes to the Lovely and intelligent Gaby! I want and need to know more about these people people!

This is Book 1 in the Rothvale Legacy Series and my first read by this author, and I must say that I quite enjoyed the storyline, the characters, and her writing style. It is a captivating, steamy romance between Lord Ivan and art conservationist Gabrielle. Witnessing them fall in love is magical. These adorable characters are flawed, the connection strong, the chemistry combustible, and the unique plot makes for an intriguing read. It is a wonderful love story with enough drama, excitement, frustrating moments, sweetness, some twists and sizzling chemistry. Overall, it is a page-turner with engaging secondary characters and a happy for now ending. A great start to the series.

We get up close and personal with Ivan Everly, 13th Baron Rothvale, cousin of one of the best book boyfriends ever written, Ethan Blackstone. He is a British Lord with Olympic gold medals in archery stowed away in his estate, along with a boatload of secrets. He has been betrayed in his past leading him to live a life filled with nameless women and meaningless sexual encounters. He is beautiful, tall, built and has a penchant for submissive women. He houses an inherited art collection that he is looking to get rid of.
Gabrielle Hargreave is an art conservationist and a student at the University of London and Brynne’s best friend. She is an extremely beautiful woman who has had her share of hurt and pain in her past. She is now one of my favorite heroines. Love her!
Meeting at a charity gala, a case of mistaken identity throws these two together. Talk about sexual chemistry, I’m surprised my kindle didn’t explode! Forced to cut their time together short due to unforeseen circumstances, Ivan and Gaby part leaving him sexually frustrated and her mortified.
They meet a second time when she is hired to appraise his paintings. When she arrives at his home, it is an extremely awkward situation, one where she wishes she could crawl under a rock and never come out. “Certifiable asshole” isn’t a strong enough description for Ivan and Gaby flees, getting away from him at the first opportunity.
Again fate intervenes when Ivan and Gaby are forced together as Best Man and Maid of Honor at Ethan and Brynne’s wedding. They can’t seem to escape each other. He doesn’t want to let her go. He will never forget the touch of her body against his, the smell of her skin, and the way she felt in his arms. He is not going to let her get away this time.
The two of them together, just INCREDIBLE. Talk about sexual tension—it was rolling off of them enough to melt your panties. He has some mouth and he sure puts it to good use. All over Gabrielle’s body. He is right on up there with Ethan Blackstone in the book boyfriend department!!

I’ve read and enjoyed the Blackstone Affair books, but Priceless was a homerun for me. Ivan Everley has stolen my heart!!! In true Raine Miller fashion, this book was beyond amazing and proved to be a fantastic opening to what I know will be a phenomenal series!

It sure was, and in more way than one! I loved how Raine Miller incorporated the book’s title with the plot. LOVED it. There’s just no other way to describe the things that happened. How Ivan and Gaby met (epic and hot!), what went on between them, the art……everything. It was all brilliantly executed. Very, very clever. The story line definitely kept me turning the pages, wanting to find out what could possibly happen next.“After all, when you love a person, and they love you back, just about any storm can be weathered.”
There was so much profound emotion surrounding these characters. They both had pasts that had clearly scarred them emotionally, but Ivan was a man on a mission and he wasn’t going to let Gabrielle slip through the cracks. Nope. Not this girl. He wanted to prove to her, one way or another, that they deserved a chance despite having started things off on the wrong foot. Boy, did they ever!
Gaby had her doubts regarding Ivan's intentions and I understood why. I mean, he was a Lord who basically had anything and everything he could ever want or need, while Gaby was a normal girl from California. But at the same time, I also fully understood just why Ivan could not stop thinking about her. He wanted her – he craved her – like no other woman…ever. And yes, he definitely proved to her that he wasn’t the man she thought him to be.“There had been hints as we’d begun this tryst, but now, I knew for certain that my dream girl did, in fact, exist.”
Ivan’s alpha side was simply delicious. He did not take “no” for an answer. What he wanted, he got, but he also knew that he had to work his way into Gaby’s heart and life. She wasn’t like any of other girls he was used to. She was different and that was just one of the many reasons why he needed her in his life. Once Gaby gave into the inevitable, the fireworks began. These two were explosive together. LOVED them. I truly did. Gaby and Ivan were amazing characters and I’m so glad I finally got to read their story…or the beginning of it, at least.
Overall, Priceless is a spin-off that should not be missed. It has everything an exceptional romance novel should have – passion, drama, humorous banter, great characters, a captivating plotline, and so much more! I am desperately waiting for book two because I need to read more about Gaby and Ivan. These two have captured my heart.

Having adored Ethan Blackstone(Naked, Eyes, Wide Open, All In, Rare and Precious Things) and Neil McManus (Cherry Girl), I know Ivan Everly,Baron of Rothvale, is just going to steal all our hearts. The sex scenes are HOT and described in a tasteful prose. The emotions fly out of control and you are left panting and wondering ... where can I find my Ivan?
This is book #1 of The Rothvale Legacy. Book #2 My Lord (The Rothvale Legacy)is due out on October 24th so we will not have to wait very long. Me, I will be watching to pre-order this next gem so I can continue my love affair with Ivan. ***SIGH!*** -

A new series by the talented Raine Miller has arrived and what a beautiful story it is. Priceless, the first book in The Rothvale Legacy series is a book filled with so much anticipation. There is so much to know, so much to find out, so much chemistry between these two characters that have a past that have marked them. I think Gabrielle is the perfect heroine. There were times I wanted to just go and give her a cuddle. We see different parts of Ivan in the book and how I love to see him working it for his new interest. He is a man with a mission and there is no stopping him. We are introduced to new characters that truly captivated me in this story. Humor, drama, sadness, happiness, nostalgia, passion, flirtatiousness, playfulness, tenderness, conquering…this book has it all! Congratulations to Raine Miller on another book that captivated me from beginning to end. I am in love with Ivan and Gaby!!

Ivan Everley, 13th Baron Rothvale, just his name sent shivers up and down my spine when I read the blurb for this book. Ivan is Ethan Blackstone’s cousin and is an intriguing man.
Ivan appears to have it all, but does he? There is so much more to him than first appears and as he and Gabrielle (Gabby) Hargreave explore their relationship I was riveted. The banter was witty, the chemistry intense and I was fully invested in the story that Ms.Miller wove.
What is it about Gabby that immediately draws him in and fires his determination to have her no matter what? Despite her initial misgivings, what’s a girl to do when a powerful and wealthy man sets his sites on her but fall head over heels and spiral out of control?
Raine Miller’s writing style is effortless and she had me totally hooked in this book from start to finish and I cannot wait for the next book in the series. If you are looking for a book that is hot, spicy, romantic and humorous, then look no further than Priceless. -
