The fight for Song Island is over. Despite suffering losses, Will and his group have claimed the island as their own and achieved the safe haven they’ve longed for since The Purge.
Months later, Will makes contact with another group of survivors, and travels to their base in hopes of striking an alliance and gathering much-needed medical supplies. Instead, he finds himself in the middle of another bloody battle.
With Will gone, Lara must take up a leadership position on the island, and is immediately confronted with a difficult choice. It’s a lot of pressure for a third-year medical student, especially when her decisions may cost lives.
Meanwhile, the ghouls have launched yet another startling new phase of their master plan, forcing Will to venture deep behind enemy lines to collect valuable intelligence. What he discovers will change everything.
Where The Purge begins, and the Gates hold, the Stones will crumble…
The Stones of Angkor (Purge of Babylon, #3) Reviews

Omgoodness I binged the first 3 books in this series and I have grown so close to some of these characters. I'm scared to read on cause I don't want anything bad to happen to them! The sci fi dystopian is full of action, we'll developed characters.. edge of your seat scenarios.. Holy smoley . I need to get my hands on the next 6 books in the series... eeekkk!

I have enjoyed this series so far, but I think I need to take a break. It's the same thing over and over. Find new survivors, most of the new people die, ghouls attack, collaborators attack, people get shot up and somehow live to see another day. Gets depressing after awhile.

ADDICTIVE!!
Phenomenal series. Non-stop, edge of your seat action. Very interesting storylines with plenty of twists and turns. Of course there are your perennial favorite characters to cheer on, and then there are those you hope will meet their end in some grisly fashion.
The ever evolving ghouls keeps the story fresh and engaging.
But, again, the action. The unique action scenes leave nothing to be desired. They are absolutely intense. Love it! -
Amazing hard to put down
As Mike and Danny and fri.ends go from death defying crisis after crisis. They are not invulnerable both have gotten shot up Mike was close to death but survives this book even after running out of silver bullets... Some of the friends don't survive and Gabby and Josh are in the camps of the BLOODSUCKIN GHOULs?.And what happened to NATE? GOTTA START THE NEXT BOOK Now! -
Second Time Around
I’m glad I waited six years and hundreds of books later to reread this series because it’s all at once like reading for the first time and yet vaguely familiar. It’s like slipping into the arms of an old friend, familiar yet new! Still love them after all this time! -
Good fast paced story
Looking forward to the next book. I'm pretty good and guessing where the story is going, but this one I don't find my self trying to guess. And that's a good thing. -
THE STONES OF ANGKOR (THE PURGE 3)
Another great read in the Purge series! One thing I like is each book is a long read book. Each book is 2 to 3 times longer than other books. So that means there is more excitement and action! 💯 -
More!
I need to go to sleep but these books are keeping me up! All twists and turns just keep coming. It reminds me of RED and I love that tv series! What will Danny and Will be up to next? -
New Strain
Every time you think you've heard it all about the apocalypse there comes a new twist On the story And I expect that when we find out How there started it will be an impressive twist. -

This is hard. I really cant decide between 4* or 5*.
If you are reading this review , i take it you have read at least the first book, i will try to make it short without spoilers from the 2nd.
The third book continues on, with the story of Will and Danny surviving the apocalypse.
It continues from a little after the
The gates of Byzantium left off. And here comes one of my first disappointments: The
2nd book set you expecting A LOT of action in the third book , and although there is action , it isnt what i was expecting.
My expectation was involving more of the blue - eyed ghouls , which this book didn't focus on.
What happens is that it shows more of the world of the collaborators, not from their point of view directly (talking) , but from another way , which still keep us in the story of Will and Danny.
And if you are wondering if there is going to be more character development , trust me , in this book some characters change (except for the two main, they are still the silent thinker and funny surfer)
Also i like how the author doesn't just pop something out of the dark. What i mean is she gives you hints, making you to expect something will happen but then it happens and has more impact than you initially thought.
She keeps the realism (except for the many redhaired and blonde people, man i never knew we redheads had such a big apocalyptic survival chances :D ), and doesn't put too much information on what happens during the normal peaceful days. She skillfully skips the periods of time that could bore the reader.
I may be biased but i liked the book, although my expectation from action since the start were not met , i think that the way the author continues to draw and picture the world is really interesting, and i am looking forward to reading
The Walls of Lemuria . -
Another excellent entry in a gripping PA setting.
Sam Sisavath creates enticing characters and enjoyable stories. The only problem I had with this book is I thought this was a trilogy so when I got to the end and it didn't I was both happy and sad. Happy that there will be more to this wonderful series and sad that I now have to wait for book 4.
This is not your typical zombie/vampire/demon story. Mr. Sisavath has created monsters that feel different then most of the works out there. Sinister, scary and very well organized this is a new breed of undead. To counter these fiends we have a rag-tag group of survivors led by the ex-Ranger Will and his partner Danny. I know that sounds cliched but let's face it they are the most likely to survive the coming zombie apocalypse. Besides Mr. Sisavath's characters have more depth and the writing is more enjoyable than many PA novels available. And besides the cliches are part of the reason we love this genre.
