Rains is looking for her family history on the mountain. Derrik is quite the loner, but he agrees to help in her search. There's a little mystery and a nice romance, with an ending that I loved. But there are also some loose ends with unanswered questions - about the mine cave-in, and how they escaped from her uncle and other bad guys. Still, worth it for a fast read.
