An innocent woman witnesses a brutal murder and turns to a sexy deputy for protection in USA TODAY bestselling author Cassie Miles's new thriller

Anticipating a week of skiing and self-indulgence at a luxurious Colorado condo, Sasha Campbell gets more than she bargained for. Some innocent spying one evening takes a sinister turn when she witnesses a woman's murder. And unfortunately for Sasha, she could be next in line.

Brady Ellis is the only thing standing between predator and prey. The small-county deputy knows protecting Sasha will be his greatest challenge. And he's not taking any chances. Moving her from the resort to his family's ranch, Brady quickly finds himself drawn to Sasha in less than professional ways. But the job has to come first—especially when they wind up face-to-face with the killer.

This book had a good plot, with suspense, a bit of action, and romance between Sasha, and handsome deputy Brady Ellis. The romance was slow to start, almost like a slow walk on a Sunday afternoon. Brady wanted to keep the relationship professional, even tho the sparks of chemistry was there between the couple.

Sasha was on a business trip when she happened to pick up a pair of binoculars from the condo she was staying in. Through the lens she could see people in a close by hotel. She was about to put the binoculars down when she witnessed a beautiful lady get attacked. She didn't know if the lady was dead or alive. Sasha could see lots of blood on the lady's white jump suit. She called 911, and Deputy Brady was the responding officer. Throughout the investigation he appointed himself as Sasha's bodyguard. He had to keep the only eye witness safe. The small town had a small police department, and low crime. With this investigation the suspects are many. I love the suspense of the story.

Man, this is the day of the 3 Star reviews

    3 Stars, again.

I occasionally a nice break in my fiction diet with these Harlequin Intrigue books. I have yet to find someone I like more than B. J. Daniels, but they all can't be B.J. Daniels. (However, I do wish this).

Snow Blind was a nicely written, nicely paced mystery with a good plot and nice strong characters. The leads Brady and Sasha felt nicely fully formed. I liked the romance and the mystery, which is tricky in these books. I hope to read more by this author.

In Miles’ romantic suspense novel, Sasha Campbell is off on a skiing weekend when she accidentally witnesses a murder. Now it’s up to county deputy Brady Ellis to protect her. Electing to move her to his family ranch for safety, Brady and Sasha find themselves engulfed in an attraction neither of them expected. To keep them both safe, Brady must put the job first.

A classic story of an innocent woman turning to a strong deputy for protection.

"..., the strength of Miles’ latest lies in the layered mystery and the varied cast of characters that all appear to have possible motive. Then there’s the Colorado ski resort scene which provides the perfect backdrop for a plot that will keep the reader guessing" (RT Book Reviews, 4 stars).

Law firm employee Sasha Campbell witnesses a murder. At first, the body could not be found and law enforcement was skeptical. Cowboy cop Brady Ellis believed her. He acted as her bodyguard while they tracked down the killer.
