Finding North (Alex the Fey thriller series Book 6) Reviews

I enjoyed it but after having a break since the last book I found the amount of characters confusing at times. It would help to have a glossary in the book. She has done this with the latest Denver Cereal installment, Larkspur, so not sure why she didn't with this one.

After an almost drowning, Alex finds herself a lot more open to the paranormal around her. She’s seeing things clearly, knows that her team has a direction, and thinks she has a path. With her team & family at her side she follows the clues to a Parisian bookstore. This story is loaded with all the intrigue, a whole lot of military movement and explosions, and a little less hostage rescue from the previous tales. These books have me under their spell, and if you follow me you will know that I’ve read the first six books in about a month. There are three more books to go, and I have absolutely no idea where the author is taking this military intelligence team, but I’m locked and loaded.

The first book in this series " The Fey " was free so it was downloaded with quite a few others. I love my paranormal reads so after bingeing on quite a series amount of books in the genre, I wasn't really in the mood for more. I thought " what the heck, another fairy book, read one read them all", well except for those that stand out. When I finally found the urge to turn the first page little did I know that I was going to be sucked into a masterpiece, an exciting world of intriguing mystery and unforgettable characters and nothing like I had envisioned. Certainly no damn sappy fairies in this series. Alex is one of the most heroic and badass females ever to grace the pages of a book. Her twin brother Max completes her. Her whole team, surround her with love, loyalty and neverending support, each and everyone of their characters worthy of her. I grew up as an army brat and the Fey teams whole shenanigans brought back to mind my childhood dream of someday following in my dad's footsteps, even though that never happened. The team's commitment to each other is unbreakable and stirs one's patriotic feelings in your soul. I am now in a precarious position on what to do until the next instalment comes out, I hope it is very soon indeed. Ms Claudia Hall Christian, I have never put pressure on anyone, but please hurry up with the next one.

Finding North is book six in this series. It is in no way stand alone. Each book leaves you with more questions than answers. I love how in each book you learn just enough that you're left with the same need to find the answers the main character Alex feels throughout the series. I'm ready to know who is behind all of this. With everyone who was suspect being killed off, all that is left is the main players we have come to love.

Again love the characters in this series and am looking forward to the next edition, hope it's soon Claudia!!

Claudia Hall Christian it is one of my top 5 favorite writers. All of her books are so exciting you just don't want to put them down. Finding North had so many exciting twists and turns that I just didn't know what to expect next. I would definitely recommend this book, and every book in the Fey series as well as the Denver Cereal series.
