*Thank you to Elle the author for the gifted copy. All thoughts are completely my own*
This series offers a cast of diverse characters.
This series blew my expectations out of the water. I'll be honest, I loved the first 3 books so much the author was a bit nervous as to how I would take to this one.
In the final installment of the Hunter's Truce series we get some more interaction with characters who weren't front and center in the 3rd book. We get more background information and more interactions with beloved characters.
If you are looking for strong female characters, werewolves, magic, familiar love, amazing dialogue, banter and sarcasm check out this series.
If you don't like strong female characters, battles, werewolves, or banter this series isn't for you.
I am definitely sad this series is over but am very happy with the conclusion. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Stasya's line of "Long live the queen" makes me extremely satisfied, she definitely came into her own in this book.

I am so sad to leave this world and it’s characters. But what an absolutely PERFECT ending for the series!! I feel completely fulfilled!! But I can see where there is potential for spin-offs with other characters as the mc. She did such an amazing job bringing these characters to life, and not just the main characters, there are so many side characters I felt attached to also!!
The world building was amazing!! Abendrot seems like a real place! You wouldn’t think that with four novella sized books you wouldn’t get a story that will stay with you forever, but Beaumont did just that!!! This is DEFINITELY a series I will want to reread again and again!!

Opinions: I'm always nervous reading the final installment of a series, but stress was the only emotion I didn't experience while reading Queen's Edge! It was a roller coaster of fear, anticipation, and love. Fantastic! Any pieces missing in the complex plots, developed and worried characters, and thought-provoking themes were tied up in this finale and left me with wide eyes and a gasp. It was tough saying goodbye to the characters I've loved for so long, but the ending was definitely worth it! Beaumont captured the emotion and spirit of the climax and fallout beautifully. The use of adjectives and imagery impressed this little English scholar! All in all, Queen's Edge was a masterful ending to the series that left readers bouncing around with excitement but sad that it was the end. I've been saying this about every book of the series, but you must continue reading because every book is better than the last! Queen's Edge made my weekend wonderful and it will make yours wonderful, too.
Is This Book For Me? Sometimes, it's difficult to make up our minds on whether to read a book or not. Here are a few notes regarding whether you should or shouldn't read Queen's Edge!
Should: If you're Team Jacob from Twilight!
Shouldn't: If you're looking for a sophisticated, theological, multi-hundred page read.
Should: If you've read and adored the first three books of the series or anything else by Elle Beaumont!
Shouldn't: If you don't like action, violence, or thrill.
Should: If you're interested in an exciting twist on a classic children's tale!
Shouldn't: If you're boring.
Should: If you love cute endings (I didn't say happy, I said cute)!! -
Whose afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? Not I. 😉 This book wrapped up this series in a neat little bow. All the action and heart wrenching moments that I was awaiting did not disappoint. The dual POV did it for me. The side characters really made it. Diving into the next series, one of them cooould be about Ashroy, right? 🤞

Such a great ending to the series. The writing definitely felt like it fit more of the young adult theme. Once again read it one sitting!
