When I get ready to create something for children I want it to be cute and fun. These 45 plus patterns fit that description. What could be more fun than soft knitted toys to cuddle, sweaters with animals knitted into the pattern, hats, scarves and blankets? Add fuzzy muffs, purses, ponchos and puppets and you have gifts that are sure to please any child. I especially love the cat & dog scarves and the fuzzy foxy stoles that will have any child ready to bundle up against the cold. These patterns are suitable for a wide variety of yarns and work up quickly. A must have for any knitter who has little ones in her life.

Loving these patterns. My only complaint is that although I just finished the cutest ever baby sweater, I did have to adjust the pattern b/c it just didn't work out. Not sure if it was my mistake or pattern error. Overall I would recommend it for the sweater patterns alone. Looking forward to trying the "swing jacket" pattern.

Most items in this book are boring to knit (stockinette or garter stitch using novelty yarns or even just plain ones) or so wacky no one would wear them. There are one or two cute patterns but mostly it's just awful.

Some great little patterns here - but alas my son has outgrown them.
Nice to see there are alternatives out there for dressing our children with love.
