The Nature of Florida: An Introduction to Familiar Plants, Animals Outstanding Natural Attractions Reviews

Good content but the many spelling and grammatical errors diminished its credibility. Poisonous snakes? Really?
-
Great reference book - Field guide for Florida wildlife and plants with the good idea of having a checklist in the back to keep track of which species you come across. Attractive illustrations accompany each species. Many entries include information on how animals might vary in appearance - male/female, seasonal.

A fantastic summary of the flora and fauna of Florida. Great colorful drawings, and fantastically organized. It doesn't cover everything, but enough so I can satisfy my curiosity with one book on the trail.
