A part of my ongoing quest to rediscover my "Baptist" beliefs this was a helpful reminder of an approach to spirituality that drew me in to the Baptist fold. I was also pleased that Henson saw its roots in ancient monasticism.
His sceptical opinion on the church becoming more business-like with its strategic plans and programs was also good news for me.
