My mother sold me to the shifters, all in the name of peace.

For more than a century, the witches and shifters have been at war. So when my mother came home with the news that peace had been struck between us, I should’ve known better. Warning bells should have been ringing in my head, but they weren’t.

It wasn’t until the shifters came for me that I knew better.

Now, having been sent to live in the Shifter Kingdom with husbands who seem to hate me, I have no idea how I'll survive. All I do know is that I will. I’ve been through worse, and if anyone can turn my grumpy shifters into good husbands, it’s me.

If only I knew anything about men or love…

THEIR WITCH BRIDE is the first book in a steamy fantasy reverse harem romance with grumpy shifters, a sunshine, innocent witch, and a mystery they must work together to solve.

2.5/5 stars. I have mixed feelings about this book.

I really enjoyed the premise, and that's about all that I enjoyed. The book is about a witch who gets sold to the shifters for peace (one direction wattpad tease). I know it's such a silly plot, but it is a guilty pleasure of mine idk. So maybe I shouldn't of expected much with such a juvenile storyline, but I just felt really let down.

Let's start with the FMC. She is the daughter of the cruel witch queen and is an outcast in her coven. Everyone hates her or whatever and she is just so painstakingly dumb. She is supposed to be 20 years old, but the things she says just makes her sound adolescent. I think the author is leaning into an age play kink, especially with how the FMC is described by the MMCs. They describe her as "tiny and childlike". They reiterate many times just how tiny she is, but not only is she tiny, she has the biggest boobs and biggest butt. Oh and don't forget her 7 inch waist. Like girl WE GET IT. And the things she says, like no one on earth is that stupid. She is a virgin (of course) and the way the author made her speak about sex was just so childlike and naïve it made me uncomfortable.

Anyways, everyone in her life mistreats her and she loves them anyways. Her mother literally whips her and she is like "wow my mommy so strong I'm proud of her uwu" I just couldn't take it.

Basically the book is about a race war and I don't particularly fancy those sorts of books. Especially when RH authors write about them because it just become blind prejudice against each other without reasoning. Specifically there was one scene where the males made the FMC build her own tent. And when she tried to build it, they were like "Why isn't she throwing a tantrum or trying to kill us what is going on???". It was one of the most ridiculous scenes I've ever read. When the MMCs act that fucking stupid, how am I meant to take them seriously?

Anyways this story did have potential, but the author leaned way too much into the wattpadness of it all which made it unbearable for me. I did finish it though and unsurprisingly it wasn't the worst thing I've ever read LOL. I'm sure there are people who would enjoy it a lot more than I did.

This book hooked you from the beginning! Magic, Witches, shifters and Princess Tara's complicated relationship with herself and her powers. I really enjoyed the start of this new series and am looking forward to more.

Princess Tara grew up as a witch. Her mother-the most powerful witch so far had high hopes for Tara. Now, 20 years old, it is clear that Tara is not what the people expected. More so, their disappointment of her and her magic have amplified and she has been made a pariah among her people. Knowing little about the world and having to overcome nasty behavior on the daily, she is still hopeful for the future.

On the day of her job assignment, a big deal in the witches world, she finds out just how cruel her own mother is. She has been assigned as a "Peace Treaty Bride" to the wolf shifters.

Prince Arlys, Prince Rinan and Prince Drogo are anything but happy with their new duty. Taking a Witch for a bride is not what they wanted at all. She is nothing but an obligation. A cure to their people back home need. When that job is done, so is the marriage. However, they cant stop themselves from the lingering looks or the smell she gives off.

Can she be the savior they need? When the Witches sent her their in good faith for a treaty, but really knowing she cant complete the basic magic tasks, did they start a new war that Tara will find herself in the middle of?

I really enjoyed this one. I cant wait for book two. I felt like Tara was very immature with the witches and would have liked to see her more 20yr old self shine through. You can still be mature as well as naïve, I think. I wish she spoke up more with the shifters, but hopefully she will find more of her voice in book two.

    *Overall 4/5
    *Heat? 2/5 (Lots of tension)
    *Multiple first person POV
    *Slow Burn
    *Ends on cliffhanger

Oh man, ok.... how do I do this without telling you too much.
LCA is one of my favorite authors, and I absolutely love her books, this one is no different. The storyline will sucks you in so much. Tara just wants to please her mother the Queen, and make her proud. She wants to excel at magic so the coven will stop looking at her with pity. Can you guess what happens? Probably not.... it's hard not to fall in love with Tara.
This story is just tugs at you and I can't wait for more. See what is really going on over there in the wolf territory

It ended too quick me thinks. Rlly hate series r made when it rlly could have been told in one book or two. Get ur bag tho!!!!! ANYWAYS I LOVE TARA SO BAD. She's just so full of love and kindness and silly. Like even after everything that's been done to her she still sees the best in people and I think that's quite special <3.

    Their Witch Bride

What a fantastic start to what promises to be an exciting series!

This story is crammed full of awesome tropes like enemies to lovers, arranged marriage, why choose, royalty, shifters, witches, sword-wielding FMC, forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, lots of tension, and so much more!

I really enjoyed Tara’s character, she was innocent in a lot of ways of the world, but she was still fierce and determined and I can’t wait for her to come into her own!

The princes on the other hand I can’t wait to learn more about. The glimpse there is enough to keep me wanting to learn more about them. Although, I’m not a huge fan of all of them… I’m reserving my judgement until I know more though lol

I look forward to the next book though!

Color me pleasantly surprised. This first book is really just a short introduction to the world and characters, but it was surprisingly good.

We have a world where shifters and witches have been at war for forever. Something happens (won't spoil) that brings the shifters to the negotiating table and the result is the witch princess, who has been reviled by her coven for not having "the right" magic, is given in marriage to three wolf princes. The evil witches are probably planning something nefarious, while the wolves are hoping this magic less witch can save their people.

    Entertaining

This book, really had the reader feel the emotions as we read each chapter. The fmc, she’s been physically and emotionally abused on top of being isolated from the rest of her coven based on the cruel words of her mom. The coven leader. Who also sells her to be a peace treaty, what isn’t explained until much later, that she’s expected to cure the Illness. She’s a metal witch, she doesn’t work well under pressure either. No one gives her a chance. It is heart breaking to read. She’s been gaslighted her entire life to expect to be treated like the dirt beneath everyone’s feet and to like it. She’s blessed to even be her mother’s daughter. Blah blah blah. She bought it and made it her mission to always smile, and to hide the pain. Whether it was physical abuse or verbal abuse. She has the scars to prove it, but she doesn’t let on how she grew up. What her capabilities are. The guys, they are the typical guys, hot and big all around. They are experienced and she is not and her naivety is making her comments double edged. She’s innocent enough not to realize how her words can be misconstrued. It makes me angry to read how Drogo treats her and makes everyone else treat her the same. Hes written stubborn, fierce, stupidly determined, and you just know that when he lets someone in, he’s loyal for life. Rinan, seemed to be the most open, saw past her “witch” title and loyal to his word even when he doesn’t agree now that he’s met her. Arlysl is written that he’s quiet, contemplative, thinks before he speaks and has more of an inner justice of what’s right and wrong. He agreed with their pact but he doesn’t agree with how Drogo treats her. He watches her and sees her more than the others I think. He observes before making any deductions. Drogo is the only one sticking his heels in the sand along with his head. I hope they see her scars, and realize that she’s been honest with them the entire time. I hope they realize how badly they treated her wasn’t any different than how she was treated back home. I hope I get to read their way to redemption. I’m almost certain though it will get worse before it gets better. I’m also certain that at some point, they will realize she’s their mate, their fated mate, and it will be to late to win her back, as she will be back with the witches. There’s gotta be a catalyst to this, and I can’t wait to read it!

I received this as an ARC and the first line immediately drew me in! "You, Tara, are like a dildo in the a$$ with no lube." I mean, if that isn't a heck of an opening line, what is? Tara really resonated with me. Between her insecurities and self-doubts in her abilities, her tumultuous relationship with her mother, and her unease at being thrown into a situation with the 3 shifter princes, I found myself really rooting for her. I love her innocence, quiet strength, humor and witty banter. She is trying to navigate through a difficult situation, especially with princes who distrust her and Prince Drogo is a bit of a bully. I am a fan of RH as well as enemies to lovers/bully and I look forward to seeing how the relationship between Tara and her 3 princes progress. There are so many tropes present including forced marriage and forced proximity, and the there is a lot of tension as well as a heavy expectation of Tara as the peace bride. I look forward to learning more about the shifter's and I feel that Tara's mother, the Witch Queen, who so willingly sold her daughter as a peace bride, will play a major role in the future, especially as she essentially set her up to fail. I feel that the Witch Queen has some nefarious plans for her own daughter and the shifters. Prince Arlys and Prince Rinan are growing on me, but Prince Drogo has some work to do. This was a shorter read, which I enjoyed, as I feel that fantasy romances don't need to go on and on. Once the Princes realize how horrible Tara's mother and her own people were to her, combined with their treatment of their new bride, there will indeed be some groveling! The book ended on a cliffhanger and I'm eagerly awaiting book 2. This was my first book by Lacey Carter Andersen and I plan to explore her backlist while waiting. This was a solid read for me, while not quite a 5 star (4.7), mainly because I would have liked to see some more world building of the shifter and witch world, and more insight into the history of their conflict, I have a feeling book 2 may provide more insight. If you have never read Lacey Carter Andersen, I encourage you to do so, as I am now a fan and will be adding her backlist to my TBR!

  • Rachel

Their Witch Bride is the first book in Lacey Carter Anderson's new fantasy rh. The story surprised me with its humor while also keeping me wondering what was gonna happen to the little witch.

Tara had to grow on me. She annoyed me at first because there is turn the other cheek and then there's being a doormat. I understand that she was desperate for companionship but it felt a little too much at times. Tara's awkwardness made for some cringe-worthy moments but it was the unrealized sexual innuendos that really took the cake. It was hilarious and endured me to her. Plus she's an amazing weapons master which helped me like her even more.

The three big bad shifter princes don't know how to take Tara or know what to do with her for that matter. It was freaking hilarious. My favorite moments are when Drogo is trying to start a fight with her and Tara just lets the wind out of his sails. She's gotten a little bit of sass now that she's with the shifters and I like it.

I wasn't expecting this plot but I really enjoyed it. Lacey did a great job going into detail about both the Wolf and Witch Kingdoms while also showing the animosity between both people. There is a history there I would love to know about. There were a few revelations but it was the plot twist and its ramifications that took the plot in a totally different direction than what I was thinking.

This book had some pretty good troupes, Grumpy/Sunshine, Chosen One, and Arranged Marriage to name a few. Things were fairly dramatic for most of the book, so of course, it would end on a dramatic cliffhanger. I'm just wondering how what happened is going to affect the next book.

  • Samantha Silensky

There is so much promise and variety that this book is capable of. And as per usual with this author, it’s hard to go into detail about my favorite parts without giving away too much in terms of spoilers. But the main character seems to have a “if you can’t beat em, join em” mindset, as far as how people treat her. She’s so accustomed to being treated poorly, she just rolls with it, and laughs with them. Which hurt my heart, but I guess also serves its purpose, as proved numerous times in the book. I always love the stories where the princess is down to earth and not spoiled and entitled, but this princess gets the furthest from the royal treatment that I’ve seen, without some horrible step-mother involved. I wish I could say she wasn’t relatable, but she is. To me at least. The one thing that makes my heart ache for her, but isn’t personally relatable is her naivety, which is extreme to the point of being shocked at discovering her actual age compared to the knowledge she’s been given as far as life in general goes.
Her mother very much has a “for the greater good” mindset, yet, it seems to conveniently never come at great cost to herself. I genuinely detested her mother by 1/4 of the way into the book, and it only got worse as I went. I can only hope what her mother has decided for her, will be the best thing that’s happened to her in the end. With my high hopes, and experience with the author, I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

    An Emotional Roller Coaster

Wow, what a first start to this series. I think this is the first book I cried at the beginning of the book. Lacey does an awesome job of really bringing you into the emotions of her characters, especially Tara. One minute I am crying, then laughing, growling, wanted to reach through the book and smack the character myself. I couldn’t put it down, I read this book in one day.

Our dear innocent Tara, amazingly resilient no matter what life throws at her and for the most part she really can’t catch a break. Her mother certainly will not win any awards for being mother of the year. After learning and hearing how she treats her daughter, I wanted to jump through the book and give her and the other witches a piece of my mind. No mother, no person should treat anyone the way she treats her daughter.

Don’t get me start on her 3 wolf shifter husbands. Now, I will say Tara’s innocence and knowledge about things of a sexual nature had me laughing out loud. The things she says and doesn’t understand the meaning or the reason they react the way they do will have you rolling on the floor laughing. However, those 3 alphas had me wanting to reach through the pages and slapping some sense into those idiots. I know she was their enemy but no matter what she does they can’t seem to accept what a treasure they have. Can’t wait for book 2 to see if her husbands can overcome their stubborn stupidity.

Well... This is one of those times where I feel like I have a lot to say, but I don't know how to say it in a way I don't give away any spoilers and don't get flagged for the use of certain words...

This book took my by the throat. If you ever want to see what happens to a person who's being raised by a narcissist who loves to isolate her daughter and where gas lighting is a daily occurance; this is the book. Some reviews say our young witch is a bit young and naive, but to me that's a natural consequence of how she was raised. And it really hurt to watch it all happening, and how it took root in her brain and her heart. Even though there's a touch of lightness in this story, it constantly felt bittersweet to me and I even occasionally felt the tears well in my eyes. The fact that Tara feels more cared for in a hostile environment than the one she was raised in, says it all.

So yeah, I love Tara. she's a beautiful soul, and she reminds me of a flower that refuses to be destroyed even when people constantly keep stomping it down. It's a bit soon to say much about the men, but I can already imagine how they will match with our beautiful witch in a way they never saw coming. I was dreading the moment the end of this first book came near, and now I can't wait to find out what will happen next!

  • Jen

This is such a great start to a new series. Tara is a witch with uncooperative magic, except for her talents with Metal Magic, which all other witches turn their noses up at. Her mother is a fierce battle witch, the head of their coven, as well as a total abusive psychopath, with zero maternal instincts. In an effort to end the war between witches and wolf shifters, Tara's mother, deciding to kill two birds with one stone, offers her up as a sacrificial peace bride, promised to marry the 3 shifter princes, with no say in the matter. Tara is amazing and definitely one of my favorite FMCs I've read about in a long time. She's quirky, a bit awkward and endlessly optimistic, despite all the hate and abuse she has suffered from her mother and coven. All she wants is to find her calling and help those around her. This is definitely a slow burn, which isn't usually my favorite, but I honestly didn't even notice until I got to the end of the book. There is definitely a lot of unwanted chemistry between Tara and the guys, and the promise of steamy times ahead is definitely there. I can't wait to see what happens next for Tara and am so excited for the next book!

  • Mrs R

This is book 1 of a series and the story does continue in book 2.

This book was not what I was expecting and I love the direction it went in.

So I could not make my mind up about Tara at first, she went back and forth from childlike to old-beyond-her-years, and it's all because of the cruelty from her coven. Her mother (the queen) being the worst. I loved her innocent outlook on life and she is the ultimate sunshine, seeing the best in absolutely everything and anything. This does lead to some funny situations and conversations.

After being given to three Prince wolf shifters as a Peace Bride, she starts to realise just how badly she was treated and potentially how cruel her mother will continue to be to her. But it's only the beginning of a different set of problems.

The three Princes are best friends, but have completely different personalities. Not happy they've had to get married as they wanted to wait for their fated mate. There's a reason they agreed on marrying their enemy and Tara is shocked when she finds out.

I'm looking forward to seeing where this story goes in book 2.

    - witches
    - shifters
    - RH PNR
    - multi POV
    - grumpy / sunshine
    - virgin FMC

  • olivia V.

First of all if you thinking of reading this series.. don't! It's not worth the wasted time. This should not have over 4 stars. Juvenile writing.

I like a wounded bird trope when its done right, not going to find it here. The world building was minimal at best. The magic system minimal at best. So many tropes that have been over and done with, young innocent FL, she is so beautiful but doesn't know it, abused and mistreated, hidden magic. The naivete of the FL is almost bordering on icky.. too innocent, too virginal.. it was just kind of icky. She has zero personality whatsoever, she's acts like a child. The ML's were the boring, no character development, your token typical manhos and not good people at all. Especially Drogo, seriously wtf is with the name?!? he was horrible. They just were not good to the FL at all. They weren't worthy of her kindness. They aren't worth reading about and honestly after reading both books, I hope that the author turns the princess into a fighter/warrior/bad ass witch (not the twit she is) and she takes over all the lands and turns the three princes into toads and kills her horrible mother. Now there is your story. I know what you will get though, in the third book, the FL will be end up with all three anyway, what a surprise. That is what weak minded, spineless, pathetic doormat female leads do in these types of books and authors never write good enough grovelling to justify it. Honestly these two books just made me to think I read these and wasted so much time on them. It also pisses me off because the books are small and if you remove the excessive, repetitive inner monologues, the details of things that don't add to the story or the worldbuilding, you would be left with only one book, seriously that is how much repetition takes place. Not good writing, the male leads are the worst, the FL is tolerable at times. 1 star because this story had potential and I did like premise but the execution fell flat with bad writing... ugh not gonna lie. So disappointed. Won't be reading any more by this author if this is an example of her storytelling, just glad it was free.

Their Witch Bride by Lacey Carter Andersen is book one in the Kingdom of Shifters and Witches Series. This book checked off so much on my favorites list… grumpy sunshine, fantasy, a mystery and a why choose romance. I read this book in about a day, I was hooked so fast. I thought the overall plot line was so interesting. My heart definitely went out for Tara, her not realizing her own worth was just heart cracking. Especially since I thought she was so funny then with her innocent aspect just made love her. My favorite part is just how well the tension is written in this book. It’s seriously on another level. I’m interested to learn more about the Princes and see how their relationships continue to build with Tara. I thought the book was written well with a solid plot that I can’t wait to see where it’s going to go. The worldbuilding is good I’m able to imagine everything I’m reading and the conversations between the characters. I’m excited and eager to read the next book.

    Final review:
    5 out of 5 stars

  • Daniele Stephenson

This book had me hooked right from the start. The very first line had me laughing so hard. From there it just kept getting better. We meet Tara she was born into a coven of witches with her mother being the leader and super powerful. Tara unfortunately does not have the power like the others. Because of this they are often mean to her and she is left out of everything. Her mother decides to give her daughter away to the shifters as a peace offering for their peace treaty. They do not get along and have been at war for years. Tara is married off to Drogo, Rianan and Arlys. They are the three shifter prices from the ruling families and their fathers have signed them up for this in hopes of peace. Needless to say none of them are happy for the arrangement.
I love the forced proximity books as well as enemies to lovers all mixed in with shifters and witches. I’m super excited to see what happens in our next book as we are left of a cliffhanger. I’m looking forward to learning more about this world and hoping to see the group grow closer.

No spice in this first book

Tara is the Princess of a matriarchal society of witches at war with the wolf shifters. Unfortunately, she hasn’t shown the magical abilities her mother, the Queen, expected of her. She’s looked down upon, an outsider. Her life irrevocably changes when her mother announces that she is to be a “peace bride” in an arranged marriage to not one, but three wolf shifters, securing a peace treaty between their peoples.

The guys don’t want her and make a pact not to fall for the witch’s charms. She will be their wife in name only - A tool for peace and for other more important and mysterious purposes that she will discover.

Tara is absolutely irresistible. This book had a lot of build up but no spice (not my normal choice) but I was completely endeared and won over by her charm, wit, and unknowing flirtation. She’s a great ball of sunshine that refuses to be dimmed no matter the circumstances. I adore her. A quick, fun read.

  • Donna Marie

At the beginning I seriously felt so sorry for Princess Tara as she shouldn’t have been treated they way she was at her Covent. She should have been loved by her mom, I hate her mom especially when she tells Tara love should be earned. No way is loved earned especially to your own child it’s given freely. All because Tara isn’t as good as magic as she should be but excels in metal work, which is looked down within the coven as witches don’t need weapons.

I also hate how her mom could just give her away to three Prince shifters, at first all four of them are very weary of them. Especially as Tara has been told nothing but bad stuff about shifters and who they treat each other badly. The shifters seriously don’t like witches as they’ve killed many of their people by magic and not proper fighting, which the shifters find cowardly.

I feel for Tara when Prince Drogo keeps accusing Tara of doing things, when all she truly wants is someone to love and care about her. As she’s only ever had that with a blacksmith which her mom doesn’t like her being around.

The witches Queen made the peace deal knowing they started a sickness but does she want to keep it or has she set her daughter, who isn’t quite as good at magic to up to fail and start wars again. Also can the three princes bring out Tara’s magic to help the king.
Will there be love for the four of them or will they still see each other as enemies.

Really can’t wait to read the next book.
I have loved this book and can’t wait for more it had me hooked from the moment I started reading it.

The one question I can’t wait to see if it gets answered is the witch (Tara) the mate of the three Princes!!!!

  • Brittany Smith

Tara is a witch who is severely unloved by her mother and the laughingstock of the coven due to her very poor grasp of magic. She only has two friends and she has been made to feel like an outcast. Her mother has decided to give her away in marriage to three shifters to solidify a truce between shifters and witches. However, all is not as it appears.

I felt so bad for Tara, she is such a wonderful character. Full of life and wonder, very sheltered and naive which leads to some hilarious moments in the book. I am really rooting for her to get her magic and become a total boss, even outdoing her mother. Her mom is horrible, and when she announced to the coven another girl was the daughter she should have had, I could have slapped her.

The characters are of strong personality, you either love them or hate them. I feel that there will be room for them to grow and change in the next books but for now, we know who we like and who we don't. The world-building is wonderful. It is full of details that will have you imagining everything very easily.

A great start to a new series and I really look forward to the next one!

    OMG – Fantastic

I absolutely loved this book. Tara, the daughter of the Queen of the witches, has always been considered a disappointment since she didn’t get uber powerful like her mother. She has always been treated horribly by the other witches but learned not to let it get to her too much. Until her mother tells her that she is being sent with the shifters as their peace bride. All she has ever known about shifters is how cut-throat and evil they are, so she is terrified. Her three wolf shifter husbands, Arlys, Drogo and Rinan, each have different feelings about her – Drogo’s being absolute hate since witches killed off his brothers – and swore to be married in name only. They believe her to be super powerful and able to cure the disease that is threatening their elderly. Understanding the peril, she is in now if she can’t figure this out, Tara has to figure out how to cure this illness before she gets killed.

Can’t wait to see what happens next!

  • Lauren

I absolutely love LCA’s writing and was so excited to read this new series! I devoured it in one sitting since it wasn’t very long. It’s a slow burn romance but it kept me hooked from the start and I’m looking forward to the sequel!

Tara is a sweet and naive witch with crazy magic that won’t cooperate. She has a powerful mother and unfortunately Tara is a disappointment to the other witches. They treat her poorly — like she’s an outcast, and her mother is even worse.

To get rid of her daughter and solve the problem with the shifter community, Tara’s mom offers her up on a silver platter to the 3 wolf shifter princes.

Prince Arlys, Rinan, and Drago are not exactly happy they are having to marry a witch. They’re definitely enemies at first but have to find a way to co-exist. It was clear that they all shared chemistry despite their differences. This is low spice, but I know the steam will come in the next book!

Overall a strong start and I’m ready for book 2!

  • XxnightxowlxX74

    Hidden Agenda…

Princess Tara has been given to the wolf shifters as a peace bride by her mother the queen of witches. Tara’s magic is defective or at-least that’s how it seems.

Married off to Arlys, Rinan and Drogo each a wolf Prince. They have their own agenda and it’s not anything good for Tara.

Her mother might be evil but Tara is very sweet and innocent. Her naivety had me laughing out loud at some of the situations she falls into.

We start to learn that there might be a hidden agenda behind this peace treaty. The wolf shifters have started becoming ill and the expect Tara to heal their people.

This is a slow burn with barely anything steamy between the characters in the first book. Tara is still a virgin going into the next book. But by the way the guys are reacting towards her it may happen soon. We do get left off on a slight cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see Tara shine in the next book.

  • Anoesjka Connolly

This story was gripping from the start, and really got my interest. Princess Tara is a witch, who seems to struggle with her witchcraft, and to have any positive attention from her mother the Queen. When at the crystal ceremony, her mother springs on her the impending marriage to 3 shifter Princes, in order to fulfill a peace treaty between the two kingdoms. I loved how positive Tara always was in the face of ridicule and bullying, despite having to put up with it all her life from all witches everywhere. I also loved seeing the way the Princes, Arlys, Rinan and Drogo, are fighting their attraction to her every step of the way. They are determined to hate her and made a pact together to keep her at a distance, however secretly they are all so smitten and I loved how this played out. A few mysteries and a bit of magic along the way and a cliff hanger at the end has me wanting to read the next book asap! Another great read!
