Charmed by the Cowboy was cute with a side of drama.
The Gist: Sometimes you're out being all manly and cowboying and then you find yourself a baby goat. A baby goat in a red gown. And then your manly self is trotting around carrying a baby goat in a red gown trying to find said baby goat's human mama. Quite the way to meet your new neighbor.
Cooper and Beth were nice. He's all sexy cowboy with a heart of gold and a protective streak a mile wide. And Beth is pretty solid, too. She's a goat in clothes photographer. lol She makes calendars of them. She was nice. Resourceful and ready to make a go of her new life. I liked them both.
The romance was minimal unfortunately. They were good together and had chemistry but really more of the book was spent with them dealing with their perspective stalkers and fall out from them. I wish that had taken a little more of a back seat to their romance. It was just a trickle then a boom I love you. Not my favorite type in a story.
Overall, though, Charmed by the Cowboy was an easy read. Perfect for a hot summer evening when you just need a cowboy quickie with a side of dressed up baby goats. -
All Tied Up
Clever story and fun characters, however it all moved too quickly for my liking. Tension built a few times, but was resolved too quickly. -
Cooper was a sweet, clean story that was fun to read. It was full of interesting characters, and some cute goats, too! I enjoyed getting to know the people of Ransom Creek.
The main characters, Cooper and Beth, had good romantic chemistry, yet both of them were dealing with the reality of troublesome exes from the past. I liked Beth’s determination to start fresh and Cooper’s realization that his feelings for Beth were unlike any he’d ever felt before. This was an enjoyable story and I look forward to reading more in the series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wow! What an adventure! Cowboys, goats and love oh my! It all started with a lost goat named Milly!
Both Cooper and Beth are done with dating due to disastrous past relationships, however one lost goat bring them together and dealing with feelings for each other.
However , their ex-relationship may not have left them behind. Will they open their hearts again?
Debra you have a true talent in creating such wonderfully humorous, and romantic stories please don't stop!
I received this book as ARC and the review is my honest opinion of this book and was not required. -
I'm sorry, with this book, I just... Couldn't. The dialogue was stilted and unrealistic, the plot....blase, and I really just skimmed the last half of the book to finish it.

Pleasant, clean romance
Engaging characters and a pleasant story, though the conflict arising from subsidiary characters is all resolved too easily and the style is a little repetitive. -
I was so happy when this book showed up in my Bookbub email. Debra Clopton is fast becoming a new and improved Barbara Cartland for me. (My mother collected those romances when I was a kid and I started my own journey into the romance novel realm through them.)
Cooper (Cowboys of Ranson Creek #3) is a book I've been wanting to read for a while now. Debra Clopton didn't disappoint. This book is a lovely, well done romance.
I love her characters. Strong, gentle, and reliable men who have troubles but don't give up seal the deal for me. Every time. Her heroines are equally strong, if not always in body, definitely in mind. They're believable characters and I really get invested in their stories. This book was no different than the others in that respect.
The plot of 'Cooper' really kept me going, too. I never really knew what was going to happen next. The only problem area to me was that the climax seemed like it passed too quickly. The action there was good, but it just seemed to move too fast.
This book's a keeper and I'm so glad I found it! (I sometimes miss out on my Bookbub offering because I forget to check my email.) I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys sweet romance, contemporary romance, or cowboy romance. -
Cooper by Debra Clopton
Cowboys of Ransom Creek Series Book One
Cooper Presley is a natural flirt and the woman like him. He may go on dates now and then, but nothing serious. Unfortunately, the last girl was ready for marriage after two dates and had gone off the deep end. So, Cooper is taking a break from dating. And then he meets the new neighbor...
Beth Lee is in Ransom Creek to start over. To raise her goats, start a garden, and no men. Unfortunately, she meets the handsome and kind cowboy next door and has to remind herself how about the no men. Which is hard to do with a man like Cooper Presley.
Another fun series from Debra Clopton. Full of adorable animals and handsome cowboys. The reader can first meet the Presleys in the book seven of the Windswept Bay Series, where their baby sister, Lana, meets Cam Sinclair. Her Cowboy Hero has the neighbor girl and Cooper's best friend, Trip Jensen, and Bride for Hire gives even a closer look at the Presleys when their cousin Carson Andrews story is told.

This was a quick read and a sweet romance. Cooper and Beth have a genuine connection.
Cooper Presley is a cowboy to the fullest and he is struggling to shake off his latest dating mistake. He has vowed to swear off women for a while...until he meets his new neighbor.
Beth has left city life to start over at her uncle’s ranch. She left because of a bad breakup and refuses to be scared and has also decided she will not date anymore neighbors...until Cooper stirs up feelings.
These two are adorable and the relationship happens naturally. This is a clean romance with some mystery, humor and good secondary characters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -
Cooper Presley has sworn off dating after Nicole puts her claim on him and won't let go after two dates! Beth brings her miniature goats to a neighboring farm to get away from a stalking neighbor. Beth sells calendars with pictures of her goats wearing clothing. Can you imagine tough ranchers reaction to that? Beth and Cooper are great well-written protagonists. Life in Ransom Creek gets interesting! Debra Clopton has written another amazing clean romance which I recommend to others! I received a complimentary copy from the author. This is my honest opinion.

Cooper Presley has sworn off dating women but his new neighbor, Beth Lee, has caught his attention with her cute baby goat wearing a red dress! Beth isn't too happy about the mutual attraction because she moved to get away from a crazy ex-boyfriend in Houston. It doesn't take long for the matchmaking folks of Ransom Creek to come up with ways for these to be together, even if their former boyfriend and girlfriend are causing trouble.
I love these clean and wholesome romances and am looking forward to reading more in the future.
I received an ARC but all opinions are my own. -
Another fabulous addition to this series
We finally get to the first book about one of the Presley brothers. This story centers around Cooper and Beth. Beth has moved to town to get away from her ex. Cooper is working on the ranch and trying to get it into Nicole’s head that they’re not going to have a relationship. I just loved the way the town came together to help Beth, when she needed it. Grab your copy and fall in love with the Presley brothers. -
This sweet romance is a clean read, with a few religious undertones. Beth Lee photographs her baby goats in all kinds of costumes - providing a whimsical element to the story and a sharp contrast to the great-looking, very manly cowboy who lives on the neighboring ranch. Given the genre, the happily ever after ending is not a surprise but the paths taken as their romance takes off made for light reading and a pleasant diversion.

Great read
Beth went to take care of her uncle’s farm. She needed to get away from her crazy neighbor next door. They had dated some and she had to get a restraining order on him.
After she moves to the farm one of her goats gets out and she goes hunting for the goat. Her farm neighbor, Cooper, finds the goat and tries to find her to return it.
What will happen when he meets her? Read to find out! -
Cooper is taking right away with the new neighbor. He helps her catch her run away little goat and help her fix her pen so they stay put. He told he will be around if she need anything else. there just one little problem his crazy ex-girlfriend named Nicole. They had two dates and she is buying her wedding gown. He has told her many times that they are a wrong fit but she thinks he is still hers and no one is getting in her way. And heaven help anyone he is interested in.

Beth Lee and Cooper Presley met the way people should meet. They lived close to each other, and their paths crossed. The perfect way to meet turned into the perfect romance. I never did understand why people would want to meet someone in a bar or online. Come on folks, get a life like Beth and Cooper! As with all of Debra's stories, this book was very entertaining and relaxing. A feel-good book in a sometimes-difficult world.

Beth and Cooper have both sworn off dating, but fate has other ideas. The sparks fly from their first meeting. They have both had bad dating experiences in the past, with scary ex's. Will their mutual interest be enough to give dating a try again? This is a fun clean romance full of adventure and great chemistry.
