When reading non-fiction, I want facts but the first sixty pages could be summed up in a line on page 40, "If there is a link with Freemasonry, it is lost in the mists of time." In other words, there were no hard facts.
When Johnstone did get to the facts about this brotherhood, the book was more informative but sometimes repetitive. -
