35 year old Shyla is a hunter - bound by birthright to hunt and kill vampires.
Contract kills have been her life since the age of 18, moving about the country killing vampires that manipulated, harmed or killed.
She imagined that she would die an honorable death whilst ridding the world of corrupt vampires, but finds herself sired, part hunter, part vampire after a night of passion.
Shyla is in the middle of a family feud between hunters and vampires, bound to two men, Hunter and the Prince, she learns of a new threat, one that could end everything.
Who should she trust?
The Prince who claimed her as his? Hunter, who has a dangerous dark side? Or, the Government who have an entirely different agenda?

I would recommend reading this book I really love the dynamics between the characters I love Shayla, Dario. I'm hoping there's going to be a second book I want to find out more about these characters and more about Carlos and Marco.

This book does a nice job of explaining family conflict and how easily it can turn deadly. It also has a new age storyline that keeps you guessing. Great read.
