Both struggle with being apart for the first time in months, while also dealing with parents who want to know about girlfriends and their futures.
David's family is more accepting so he comes out to them. But Matt's family is more traditional and very conservative, however, so his month long break gives him some moral doubts. When they come back to campus this divide begins to tear at the relationship.
And when David gets involved with the LGBT group on campus and attracts the attention of a its gorgeous leader, Joshua, the relationship begins to strain.
Despite the bond they have built, Matt's reluctance to be open with their relationship is driving them apart. When Matt's parents visit and set him up with a family friend's daughter, Matt is forced to make a decision. Under all the stress of his sexuality, he kisses the girl at the end of the night but realizes it's David he really wants. But David is already at the January Prom with Joshua..

I so badly wish these were longer!! I think the whole thing should be one book instead of a bunch of shorts... and seriously? 2.99 for a handful of pages is ridiculous... but.. I'm hooked on it now and I gotta see what happens..
I liked the continuation of Matt and David.. while David is more secure in his sexuality; Matt has family obligations and isn't wanting to come out and be public, which I can understand but that didn't make it easy for David...
I kinda feel bad for Josh, although it was a douche move for him to put the moves on David when he knew he was seeing Matt, he did also tell him that they hadn't defined their relationship and up until the prom night he'd been a good friend and a big help so I hope an apology from Josh would make it better. I feel like he kinda over reacted...
Anyway, I like the story between these two and even though the prices of them are ridiculous, I'm gonna finish out the series.... dunno if I'll read anymore from this author if they're all shorts like this that cost a whack but... we shall see... -
OK, obviously still loving this...The angst actor is definitely there, not over the top, but keeping the story rolling at a quick pace. This Joshua Guy is a complete douche! Am I right?
On to book 3! -
Even after my less than stellar experience with the first book I did like the series enough to read the second. Still cute. Still fluff. Nothing mesmerising nothing appalling.
