I am quickly running out of this series. I like them because they are challenging, but reasonable. I suppose I will have to go back to NYT when I run out of these. It is not that they are so easy. They are challenging, and clever at the same time. But they are not punishing like the Friday Times puzzles.

This crossword collection is a notch above the standard puzzle. Clever, upbeat, fun themes, plenty of (British-style) cryptic clues, just enough challenge... everything a crossword should be! I will definitely seek out more of editor Leslie Billig's collections.
