Grayson Anders is a talented Latin-style dancer; Chloe LaRoche is a talented artist. When the two indulge in a passionate, out-of-control, one night stand, they wake the next morning consumed with inspiration.

Unforgettable Heroes Boxed Set Reviews

"Eight of the Best" from Turquoise Morning Press have come together to bring you "Unforgettable Heroes"--a collection of eight incredible romantic adventures all for one low price! "Will Work for Love" from author Amie Denman: When a hurricane wreaks havoc upon the island of St. Thomas, Whitney Thomas must find just the right carpenter to repair the damage so that her best friend's wedding can go through as planned. Chris Maxwell is not only the right man for the job, he's the man of Whitney's dreams--but will secrets involving his business keep them from building a future together? "This Magic Moment" from author Daryn Cross: Zack Graham runs his life the same way he runs his business, with little time for more than an occasional break. However, Crandall Drake, the woman in charge of Pretzelicious Pretzels has him all twisted up--could it be love at last? "Her Hired Man" from author Cat Shaffer: Lillian Osborne needs a short-time husband, and Wesley Hatfield needs the money she offers him for playing the part. However, things don't go as planned, and a temporary agreement may turn into a lifetime affair. "Sins of the Father" from author Janet Eaves: A beautiful young woman born to privilege was hidden away and given a secret identity when her life was threatened as a young child. Grown, and aching to be on her own, she meets a handsome artist who is struggling with success--or does he have a hidden identity and a secret agenda? "Holding Out for a Hero" from author Jennifer Johnson: Abigail Benton, who works at a community center, has a knack for attracting the wrong man, and she becomes interested in Eli, one of the homeless men. When he saves her life, she wants to help him with getting his life back on track, but she'll have to convince him to go along with her plan and her heart. "Rawhide and Roses" from author Maddie James: Kim Martin may be the Roses, but Colorado cowboy Thad Winchester is the one with the thorns. He has little patience for city women and their ways, but this woman may just capture a western man's heart. "Long Distance Love" from author Margaret Etheridge: Jack Rudolph and Ellie Nichols' long distance love affair began in an airport waiting area, but it's no flight of fancy--it's the real deal. Will absence keep the heart fonder for these two independent souls?

An expanded look: "Silent Partner", by Renee Vincent, is a moving love story that will have your feet moving to the rhythm of the wonderfully descriptive dancing scenes! Grayson Anders is a seriously single club owner in search of the perfect dance partner. When he spots Chloe LaRoche having a solitary drink at the club's bar, he is immediately captivated. Chloe proves to be his equal on the dance floor, and in passion's dance as well, but she is also a lady of mystery. Grayson determines to have Chloe in his life, and he is shocked when he unravels her secrets. This touching love story just got better and better as two souls were laid bare, and two hearts learned to trust as their faith in each other gained them the ultimate partnership. "Silent Partner" is a highly enjoyable celebration of romance and dance!

A couple of the stories were really, really good like Will Work for Love and Holding Out For A Hero. Rawhide and Roses started out really good but it sounded awfully familiar, checked my kindle and yep I already bought that story (still a good story though). Good thing boxed sets are priced so cheap because I hate when I buy the same story twice.

The rest were ok...well except for This Magic Moment. That story was like a terrible 80's soap opera, wish I had the hour back of my life I wasted on that story.

I'd say this boxed set fell solidly in the 3.5 star range. Like with any set of books there will be some you like more than others, and that was the case with me as well. That being said, I'm sure there will be something for everyone no matter what kind of hero you are drawn too. Nice job by all the authors.

    Sweet hero's and happy endings.

    Sweet hero's and happy endings.

Such great characters and interesting stories. I fell in love with them all and she'd a few tears along the way. If you like strong men, crazy women and HEA, read these stories.

  • Katie O'Connor

This set is a mixed bag of stories. Some I loved and read more than once. There was one I couldn't work my way through. But overall, a nice varied collection of stories.

  • Lynn Smith

Great set of novels. Keeps you busy reading for awhile. The only story I didn't care for was the second one, That Magic Moment,it just seemed to to be to much bouncing around. Made it hard to follow.

Review for Queen of My Heart
This book broke me! I instantly fell in love with Quinn and Tucker! These characters have such depth, as does the storyline. Quinn and Tucker bond through their love of music but soon an attraction starts to build. Individually, they are both fighting their own personal demons which keep intruding on their present. Can they overcome their demons and live their fairy tale? Nikki Lynn Barrett has an amazing ability to create true to life characters and storylines that take readers on an adventure. This book, however, exceed anything I have ever felt while reading her books. The emotional roller coaster that experienced while reading this book is one that very few books have evoked in me. Fair warning...you will need tissues while reading this book but the tears are worth it!

I was thrilled when I learned that I had won the Unforgettable Heroes Box Set. To get all these books by such wonderful authors in one set was amazing. While they are all very different stories, they do all have one thing in common - romance. I liked the variety in these books and that the settings take you all over the world. There is something for everyone in this box set. Whether you like suspense, spice or humour, you will find it here. Some of these books will make you laugh while others will make you cry. But they will all make you sigh.

I got this set on my eReader on super sale, 1$
To be completely honest while not all the books in this set were bad, I'm GLAD it was only a dollar because most of it was trash. I had to mentally edit every page (for the most part) and the story lines were dull.

  • Leeann Mitchell

I loved all of these stories. Some so moving I cried. I laughed at others and had heart palpitations in a few spots. Each author was unique. A Great collection to read.

  • Tanielle

Great read, enjoyed following along with this one.

  • Sally Hutcheson
