    3.5 🌟

The book wasn’t bad, I just didn’t get the giddy feeling I get when I feel the love and chemistry between characters. Plus when Honey and CoCo was mixed up a couple times it threw me off.

This story line was okay but it just didn’t give me the wow and I hate when books leave off on a cliffhanger. I mean this book could’ve been finished in one. It could’ve all been in this one book.

Marcia was trash and I thought that from the moment I met her. She gave sneaky energy through the pages and I was tired of her.

    😩😩😩

The way I wanted to throw my phone at the ending!!😩I need part two! 😭

Okay, let me stop being dramatic- who am I kidding, I am a dramatic reader and this book checked off all my boxes - drama, fast paced, plot twists, a grumpy man in Law, a swoon worthy book bae in Streets, and audacity x 100! I can’t wait for the rest because the ending has me shook and someone has some explaining to do! Marcia & Wick need to go, as well!

    Unexpected twists !

This was a NTM author. I read several reviews about this book and I HAD to read it for myself! The hype of this book is warranted!! Taniece did an amazing job capturing the life of each character as their lives unfolded! Law is definitely giving BDE! His chemistry with Honey was not only surprising, but very interesting! Coco and Streets have that organic connection that’s easier to understand. I thoroughly enjoyed the different POV’s and the transitions between each scene. Not only was this story fast paced, but it also had a fascinating plot & storyline! Part 1 was the intro, now I’m anxious to read part 2.

If you’re skeptical about this book… don’t be! Believe the hype!! It’s DEFINITELY everything the readers are raving about!! ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️

    Cliffhanger... Uhhhhggggg

I hate that this is another cliffhanger story. I run that risk with urban books. I'm not sure how I feel about this rambunctious story.

    Must Read!!!!!!

This book had me on the edge of my seat from the first page because I knew it was going to good. From scandalous friends who's backstabbing without batting an eye, arranged marriage, folks coming back from the dead. Definitely is enough drama that'll keep you wondering what was going to happen next. Honey, Coco, and Dash are three siblings that learned the hard way of the meaning "Everybody is not your friend." Being the children of the Govern had many jealous of them. As humble as they were. It didn't stop the snakes from hissing. Dash was Wick best friend but Wick wasn't a friend to Dash. Wick was forever scheming and Dash going along with it kept them in trouble. Especially Dash being that his father had to always clean up his mess. One mess was out of his father hand when Dash and Wick stole from the Blanco's. It put their family in danger. It also caused his sister Honey to step up and agree to an arranged marriage with Law Blanco. Dash had no clue his so called best friend Wick had hidden animosity towards the Blanco's. Wick had another plan but Dash refuse to partake in it because he didn't want the Blanco's coming after him and his family again. I wish Dash wouldn't have met up with Wick. I already knew what was going to happen. Honey didn't realize what she got herself into when she agreed to marry Law. Law was standoffish and had rules but Honey don't follow rules. She found out why Law had commitment issues. It was funny watching the two of them together because Honey is defiant. If Law pushed. She pushed back. Law didn't want to admit it but he was falling for Honey. Somehow she bring him peace. I felt bad for Honey, Coco and their parents after what happened to Dash. But Law knew exactly who was behind it. Honey and Coco thought Marcia was their best friend but once Marcia realized Honey was engaged to marry Law. Her shady ways was coming out. I shook my head at Marcia when she showed up with Law and Streets father. Marcia ain't nothing but a gold digging, trifling, hoe. When Law told his father about Marcia. He also had to reveal why he felt his father need to leave her alone. That's when Honey learned Marcia was a jealous snake. Streets and Coco are good together. Both are laid back and mild mannered. Nothing like their siblings. Streets wasted no time staking his claim on Coco. The way this ended. Wick still haven't learned and for some reason. I believe Marcia was apart of his plan to try and take Honey. Wick thought going after Honey was going to be easy until them tables turned. The person who stepped out the shadows at Honey and Law wedding. Shocked the both of them. Especially Law.

    👏🏾 Awesome

This was a really great read! Had me hooked from the beginning to the end. Whew that ending I was not expecting at all.

I loved Honey she was a little firecracker. I loved the chemistry between her and Law once he loosened up with her. I’m mad he was taking her phone and locking her in the room as if she was his child or prisoner. Although I think forcing someone into marriage over a stolen car that was returned was a bit far fetched. I still loved the idea of an arranged marriage.
Coco and Streets had such an organic connection maybe because they weren’t forced to marry either way I like them together. I didn’t like the way he asked to marry her and being that they weren’t forced it was too early to be proposing but hey the heart wants what the heart wants. I also wish he had waited so they would have a different wedding day.

Overall an amazing read and I can’t wait to dive into book two. This is a completed series so make sure yall check it out. 👏🏾 🔥 🖊️ 📚

    Boring…did not finish…

Okay, so I read a lot, arranged marriage is one of my favorite tropes, so maybe because I’ve read more intense arrange marriage books that this one is just boring. Honey is Naive, and weak. Girl your bff sleeping with your finance, whoop her, it don’t matter that you ain’t want him, she just showed you she grimy. Honey, really stomped off like a teenager being sent to her room 🙄 then Law telling her Wick killed Dash and she questions it because he showed up at the funeral. Girl commonsense, to throw you off! That line really heightened my annoyance with her. I downloaded this because of booktok, the reviews failed me again. 3 starts because CoCo and Streets was cute

How this ending went I need part 2 asap. I love how Law is trying cause Honey made him change for her... the real love story is Streetz an Coco... he was so sweet to her an romantic... even though Dash was a mess up he didnt need to die Wick was a hothead an jealous thats a bad combination for a so called best friend... Marcia is going to be a probelm i bet she is another supposedly best friend but jealous of Honey an Coco... Law is the man i wonder how this bout to play out with they mom not dead.

    🔥🔥🔥🔥

I’m left with my mouth wide open like I just know this book didn’t just end with this cliffhanger like this. Like what in the entire world is going on now. Who’s this mystery person. All I can tell a person before they start to read be prepared to have your socks knocked off. These characters in this book is something else. Each character part flowed so good and easily. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. I hate this book wasn’t a standalone because I don’t do that waiting game for long. I just hope we want have to wait to long for book 2

    🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Somebody got some explaining to to do. Where mama been? Wick got exactly what he deserved. He was never Dash's friend and I hate Dash even went to meet up with him. I'm glad Law opening up with Honey but after this new revelation ain't no telling how he gonna be acting. Marcia ain't no friend either and I hope Honey stays away from her. I love Coco and Streets together. I'm glad they took their own leap of faith.💙💙

    Satisfied Reader

I so need the rest. Honey and Cocoa are living a dream. Honey life was turned upside down but she stuck around and it’s turning out to be not so bad. Law has barrier around his heart that’s breaking by the day. But where there’s lightning a storm follows. Cocoa has a calm about her and Streets found that out. Law got the shock of his life and I can’t wait to see what unfolds in pt.2

    The heat coming

This book was too good I can't believe wick had the nerve to pop up at the wedding like he was about to be in charge of things I think not and ma is back wow it's about to get crazy I knew she was going to fall for law he was trying to act all hard knowing he was going to fall to but come on Marcia like how low was that of you and you called yourself a friend she should've told them what was going on from the beginning she's sad

The virgin wife of a billionaire

I loved this book all the way down to how the twins got with the two brothers. I am sorry that honey lost her best friend to being deceitful. I wish dash would not have gotten killed that way he could have been there to see how happy his sisters were. I can't wait to read part two. I loved the way mama Ada and the girls got alone. Who would have thought that law and streets mom would be alive.

  • Shara

Dragging it- I can’t stand when a love story involves too many characters like this one. The romance is pretty much watered down due to all of these ridiculous sub-plots. I also, hate the virgin trope! Coco and Streets deserved their own book but, I digress. It wasn’t bad but, I will not be investing in the sequel. I usually skip books published by Cole Hart because i there always done in multiple installments.

    Nice very nice

This series is gonna be lit. My twins caught love. But honey caught hell at first and came out good so far. But her best friend was a peace of s**t and was so jealous hearted. My boys don't play about their ladies. U did good on yet another book and I'm looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read

    Unexpectedly Good

This was a real page turner, having just finished one of favourite novelette writers book - I was on the hunt for something good. As we all know when you’ve just read a good book the next one needs to deliver, and this one did! Taniece is a new writer to me and I loved the way she weaves a story for each character and the funny one liners, and as for the bingo scene- that was a lol moment - Looking forward to book 2.🙂 Thanks 😊
