A Night with the Rock Star (Taking Stage, #2) Reviews

I have to say that was absolutely amazing! The book picked up right where the last one left off. Some bitch ruined everything by claiming she’s Max’s girlfriend.
And I really wanted to slap her in the face when she called Therese a PIG. It hurts since I also have a plus-size body. >.<
I was like...
There was a misunderstanding in this book, but I loved how Max wanted to explain his side to Therese and apologized to her for being ungentlemanly. I thought they wouldn't see each other again, and just the thought of not seeing Max’s handsome face broke my heart. LOL.
Max was such a sweetie. And there’s made up almost-sex.
I was completely hooked from the very first page. I can’t wait to read the next book. I just loved this little series. -
What i realized about this series is it is 5 books that are very short stories. Really, this could have been one book instead of divided like it was into short stories.
This short story picks up where the first left off - Therese leaves the after party after she and Max were confronted by his girlfriend (which was an ex) and he takes her back to her apartment. She manages to get Max to leave once her sister comes home and feels that is probably the last time she will ever see him. Then she receives the gift from him. :) -
The first book left me saying WTF....this one left me going "AWWWWW". I am still hoping for a happy ending.
Nikki is still ticking me off with how she talks about her sister's weight. I am kind of hoping Max rubs it in her face that he want Therese and NOT Nikki. Anywho I loved this 2nd installment in this series. -
Endearing love story. About time a size 12 female is featured as the heroine and love interest! Therese is a gorgeous girl, sweet and intelligent. Max is the rock star who falls for her. The pursuit is worth reading this series. Fully recommended!
