I guess that’s not happening anymore.
With a groan and a couple of curses, I grudgingly drive to the outskirts of town.
I know Nora. She used to tag along with me and Keith until he yelled at her to go home. She had red, curly hair, a smattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks, and the cutest dimple on her chin.
For some reason, I half-expect to see some kid in the car, and I even briefly wonder if she’s old enough to get a license.
When I finally find her, she turns around and seizes my heart clean off my chest.
She’s my best friend’s sister, and I’m way older than her. She’s flawless, perfect. I’m just an ordinary man with dirt under his fingernails.
So many reasons not to touch her and stay as far away from her as possible.
But…all it takes is for her to look at me like she wants me too and whatever wall of excuses I’ve erected around myself comes crumbling down.
Nora’s mine. I should feel guilty about claiming her, but I don’t. I need her in my life. As for the consequences, I can’t bring myself to give a damn.

4☆ Quick and dirty? Check. Cozy tropes? Check. Insta-everything? Obvi.
I didn’t think I liked Lena Little much after trying her a while back, and this could just be a lucky one-off as I’m desperately flailing around for a JK alternative while contemplating a bleak future without her special brand of crazy (never said I wasn’t melodramatic). But this wasn’t bad, and was thankfully missing the tired (for me) Daddy/lg trope while keeping the OTT fun and delivering everything you want from a light smutovella. JP knight-in-shining-motor-oil setup with the best bro’s plucky, forbidden little sister trope. Nothing revolutionary here, just a low-angst, cozy, insta-love sugar high. It’s not Jessa Kane, but you get what you came for. 😉 💞 🥵 Also, God bless the inventor of grey sweatpants. -
This was a short, sweet, steamy and OTT story with a sweet HEA and a bit of OWD(not really she was delusional 😂). Noah gets tasked to search for his best friend's sister Nora that broke down with her car just outside his hometown. Noah sees Nora again now as an adult and falls instantly for her. These two fell instantly for each other and nothing and nobody can stop them from being together.❤️ Instalove, age gap, steamy, sweet, safe, OTT and romantic with a sweet HEA 😍😍😍😍

I love the best friends sister situation. Forbidden in a way. I loved that he was her knight in shining armor. A hard working mechanic that’s not afraid to get his hands dirty. Their spark and chemistry was immediate. Even after knowing each other when they were younger. Loved the ending.

A nice mellow book with no excessive anything , violence, drama, bumping uglies etc. I'm not a big fan of the age gap but hey , it's fiction ! -

Argumento:
Cuando mi mejor amigo me llama en mitad de la noche y me ordena que ayude a su hermana pequeña, quiero estrangularle la vida. Es casi la 1 de la madrugada y acabo de abrir mi primera botella de cerveza. Esperaba pasar un fin de semana relajante sin el olor a grasa y gases de escape.
Supongo que eso ya no sucede.
Con un gemido y un par de maldiciones, conduzco de mala gana hasta las afueras de la ciudad.
Conozco a Nora. Solía acompañarnos a Keith y a mí hasta que él le gritaba que se fuera a casa. Tenía el pelo rojo y rizado, un puñado de pecas en la nariz y las mejillas y un lindo hoyuelo en la barbilla.
Por alguna razón, casi espero ver a algún niño en el auto, e incluso me pregunto brevemente si tiene edad suficiente para obtener una licencia.
Cuando finalmente la encuentro, ella se da vuelta y me quita el corazón del pecho.
Ella es la hermana de mi mejor amigo y yo soy mucho mayor que ella. Ella es perfecta, perfecta. Sólo soy un hombre común y corriente con suciedad debajo de las uñas.
Tantas razones para no tocarla y mantenerse lo más lejos posible de ella.
Pero... todo lo que necesita es que ella me mire como si ella también me quisiera y cualquier muro de excusas que haya erigido a mi alrededor se derrumbará.
Nora es mía. Debería sentirme culpable por reclamarla, pero no lo hago. La necesito en mi vida. En cuanto a las consecuencias, no me atrevo a importarme un bledo.

Mi humilde opinión:
Romance instantáneo, hermana del mejor amigo, brecha de edad, pueblo pequeño.
Noah es el mecánico del pueblo y Nora la hermana pequeña de su mejor amigo. Lo último que esperaba después de pedirle que la recoja en su auto es enamorarse perdidamente de ella.
Me gusta lo obsesivos y celosos que se vuelven los protagonistas de esta serie cuando se enamoran, no lo hacen de una manera que me resulta incómoda sino que es divertido y ellos adoran con locura a las heroinas.
Nora era una mujer tranquila y dulce, no le gustan los conflictos. Me gustó que no sacara conclusiones sobre la supuesta ex a pesar de más dudas y hablara directamente con él. Así que no hubo un problema de comunicación tonto gracias dios!
Lo único que me pareció exagerado y violento fue la reacción de Keith, el hermano, cuando descubrió que estaban juntos. Lanzó el golpe y no dejó explicar o intentar entenderlos.
Otra historia breve pero divertida de LL, sin dramas o mucha profundidad. Son historias para sentirse bien y yo me estoy devorando su serie en mis ratos libres y vale la pena. Me gusta llegar a sus finales felices. -

1. This cover. Omg. It almost didn't matter what the description said, my imagination was going crazy and I was going to read it no matter what.
2. It was a bit quick for me. But it was ok, didn't take much effort or time to read the story even if I didn't love it.
Nora was very childish to me. 22 isn't a baby, but when Noah first finds her, she's out the on the side of the road, humming noise in her head from fear, he's trying to talk to her to tell her who he is and she goes on and on just with her inner dialogue. Instead of...oh Idk talking to him or getting ready to defend herself if she really thought she might be in danger? And I HATE when the MC taking the FMC virginity without even asking about protection, and for her to not even think about it either. Its so gross. its not romantic. -
Cute fast read
Noah and Nora’s story was cute and fast to read and I really enjoyed it. I actually read it because of a review complaining that a Bronco was an SUV and the author needed to do some research. As someone who drives a suburban and a sedan, I’ll double with the author and say truck. Thats what I call my suburban, it’s probably hauled more dirt, rock, gravel, and who knows what else than most trucks on the road. -
A fast-paced but still adorable love story!
Nora and Noah knew each other in the past, he was her brother's best friend. When they meet again as adults, it's all brand new for them and this novella really takes off in a sexy way! The author has written an addictive novella with compelling characters that is easy to read in less than an hour, maybe more, I tend to read fast. I loved the simplicity of the story and the regular human kind of vibes her characters have. -

While I get this is a short story it all took place within seemingly a day and dang was it packed (and fast)
This had such good promise , but jeez buddy it was like accidentally sitting on the TV remote while it’s in fast forward and then losing the remote

I’ve read a few other books by this the that I didn’t particularly enjoy much. Mostly just a quick read to pass the time. I’m not a huge instalove fan, but this book I actually enjoyed. It was simple and to the point, and I think I liked that when drama tried to work its way in the h decided to just talk to H and figure it out. Other than that it was pretty straightforward and a fun quick read.

I enjoyed reading about Noah and Nora. Note is back in town after a string of bad luck. like hoe her car broke down and she's waiting in her brother Keith. Unfortunately he sends his best friend Noah to puck her up. Well being the only mechanic in town. He has to be good with his hands right? Nora plans to find out one way or the other. -
A cute fun, fast brothers best friend read about Noah and Nora. Nora is back in town after some bad luck and some bad car luck puts her in Noahs path and from here things move very quickly. There wasn't a lot of drama purely because Noah made sure to cut that shit out before it could fester which I loved

Adorable novella
Nick is Nora's brother's best friend but when Nora returns to town Nick can't stop thinking about her and he has to make her his. She belongs on his arm and in his bed. He knows Keith will have to get over it because he is not letting her go. I love these shorts and you'll fall hard for the characters and their HEA is perfect. Happy Reading!! -

I liked this instalove story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The steam was great. Allison was a twit and I loved her bit of comeuppance. Nora and Noah were over the moon for each other right away. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book. -

I enjoyed reading this short, sweet story. They knew each other, when they were much younger. But one look at each other now, and they both fell hard, fast and forever. Loved the epilogues! -

Nothing unexpected, but still a fun read. I liked how Nora handled the climax, which was better than a lot of FMC manage to do. I was a little disappointed in the brother's response. -

Sweet and heartwarming story about a small town mechanic that fell in love with his best friend's little sister.
The last thing Noah expected when he went to help his friend's sister, at his request, was to meet the woman of his dreams. Highly recommended -
If I read all the books in this series without knowing the title I would think they were all the same and I will die on that hill while also continuing to read the books in this series at this point out of obligation

Once again another funny and easy read. I will say there were a couple of times I got mixed up with who was speak to whom as both main characters names were so similar. And with all the kids names also beginning with an N my mind gets going to the Kardashians 🤣

Nice quick insta-love story of Nora and Noah. Nora is moving back to her hometown when her car breaks down on the way. Her brother isn't around, so he asks his best friend and the town mechanic Noah to go help her. The rest is history..... 😉 love at first sight.

The writing is a little weak to be honest and the dialogue is borderline cheesy. I really enjoy reading these short little novellas as pallet cleansers and I know they can be done well. I might give Lena another try to see if this was a one off. Or maybe is she just a shitty writer.
