What I don’t expect is him.
He’s only supposed to be a one-night stand, but fate has other plans.
The next time I see him it’s because I’m on a date with his dad.
I’ve always believed in wishing on elevens, but this time I get a little more than I bargained for by falling for a guy eleven years younger than me.
Reid is everything I shouldn’t want and everything I need.
The question is, am I willing to open my heart up to him? Or am I doomed to let my past hold me back?

5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in loveeeee stars!
“But it takes a good friendship to establish a solid foundation. I don’t want to only be your lover. I want to be your person. The one you go to first. The one you think of when you wake up. The one … just the one.”
Omg. I swear, I want to crawl into the pages of this book and live within the story!! 🥰🤸🏻♀️🤩🤸🏻♀️🥰🤸🏻♀️🤩🤸🏻♀️
Reid Astor Crawford... mmm mmm you sexy, gorgeous, sweet and perfect man! 🫂😩❤️🔥
“Sometimes, even if you don’t know every detail about a person, they can light up your soul.”

After her recent divorce, Via picks up her life and moves across the country from California to Maine. Finally following her dreams at the age of 32 she bought a building site unseen to renovate and build her vision... an art studio/store of sorts with her apartment upstairs.
Within her first few days in her new residence her younger sister pushes her out the door in order to get her to be social. To meet a guy. To hook up with a guy. Because we all know, in order to get over one... get under another.
Out on the town at the local bar she meets the acquaintance of Reid Crawford. Things go swimmingly well lol... after a hot night together she swears to keep it casual and a one time thing... but the universe has other plans.
Totally unexpected and everything she needs...

Full stop! I need a mf Reid Crawford in my life rtfn! Omg! He is soooooo dreamy! lol (dreamy? err... yes.) This man had me smiling non stop reading this book! He's 21 with the hot messy hair, sexy glasses, an adorable smirk complete with a dimple. He's the perfect blend of confident yet vulnerable. Dominant but also tender and sweet. I'm a goner! Totally my new book husband!

She's recently divorced and is a little mixture of jaded, insecure and definitely has her guard up. It's totally understandable her ex husband is a total dick bag who cheated on her with his secretary and got her pregnant. She's certainly not looking to jump into another relationship... but sometimes we just don't plan these things. Honestly, not an annoying FMC at all. I didn't like how often she questioned the age difference, but I get it. It's part of her insecurity. Other than that she's actually very likable.

I'm obsessed with this book! O.B.S.E.S.S.E.D. It's been such a long time since I've been completely enthralled in a romance novel. I'm talking about strictly romance and engrossed to the point that I want to live in that world and I do not want to put my kindle down, and when I do have to put my kindle down, I'm thinking about the story. This book had me chomping at the mf bit.
I loved everything about it and wouldn't change a single thing! It's sweet but damn ass spicy and look I'm not someone who likes much spice but this was done right! Whew! 🔥🌶️🥵😮💨
The story takes place during Fall and Winter in Maine... you get that small town fall vibe and then during the winter - Reid and Via actually get snowed in together! Omg!
All of the characters are so loveable and relatable. The small town quirky, found family vibes warmed the hell outta my heart and had me tearing up. Ugh. So good.
The romance is so heart melting, the MMC again... soooo swoony. The relationship between Reid and Via starts out a little rocky and she actually accidentally ends up going on a date with Reid's dad! LOL. I know what you're thinking but it's not cringe at all, it was just an honest mistake and nothing at all happens with hot daddy.
The pace is perfect and kept me totally engaged. The writing is spectacular and held me captive from the first page!
I'm telling you, I was smiling and gushing the entire way through this book like a girl with a high school crush! Screaming and kicking my feet the whole way!

I recently read The Confidence of Wallflowers & although I just couldn't get past some of the typos, grammar, and over the top trauma...I could see the potential and decided to give this author one more go. I am happy to report this book, at least for me, was much better!! The characters, the storyline, the setting...all of it was an improvement.
That being said. There are still odd lags and weird typos that made me cringe.
"I want to rip his close off and devour him" 😫
11:11's story, if not for the spice--and there is a LOT of spice-- is very Hallmark-esque. Via is 32 and recently divorced. This shocking life change has caused her to reevaluate things, so she picks up her entire life and moves across the country looking for a more positive change. And change she does find! She goes from being a lawyer in San Francisco to buying an old building in a coastal Maine town with hopes of settling down, starting an art themed business, and forgetting about her cheating lying ex. She quickly falls for Reid. He's the first man she meets after moving and is 11 years her junior. She then goes on a date with her contractor Derrick...who just so happens to be Reid's dad. Via also joins a book club with the town gossips, gets to know and love all the locals, and is seemingly on her way to a happily ever after. Everything falls into place super easy and life seems good. No third act break up and no real relationship drama. Lots of green flags for Reid. Via's sister Izzy is a social media influencer and flies out to visit often, using the quaint town as material for her vlog. Izzy's story line felt a bit predictable but sets us up for book two of the series. The epilogue was crazy short, a bit confusing, and felt both unnecessary and rushed. Overall the story kept my interest & I enjoyed all the growth we saw from both Via & Reid.

maybe i’ll write a review later but can we talk about how awkward their family dinners will be???? fmc had a date with mmc’s dad. and it was after her ons with mmc‼️ and now mmc’s dad and fmc’s sister are dating??? apparently next book is about them😭😭😭 can you imagine⁉️ why did the author think it was a good idea
and the worst part is this had so much potential. i was thinking that this was going to be 5stars. but there were also so many things that ruined this book for me😡 -
older woman x younger man is a severely underwritten trope and eleven eleven is a case study as to why!!!
via picks up her whole life and moves to a small town after finding out her husband cheated on her. her sister pushes her to go out in her new town and she meets a VERY interested 21 year old, reid, and they have a great one night but she thinks she'll never see him again... but then she finds out he's her contractor's son and working on her apartment and store.
call it self-insert but there's just something about a heroine who's struggling to trust, scared to jump in, etc. and a guy who literally just wants her to say "hi ken!"
reid was EVERYTHING. he had no right to be so hot, supportive, caring, etc. he truly knew her and their connection was EVERYTHINGGGGG. -
4 stars
I had such a good time reading this book. Eleven Eleven is a reverse age gap romance where the heroine is 11 years older than the hero. Speaking of the hero, Reid Crawford was amazing. He was loving and patient with Via as she was hesitant to jump in with both feet due to the age gap and the fact that she was recently divorced. After reading the very end and seeing that there was going to be a spin-off from two very intriguing characters- I can’t wait! -
I tried because the premise sounded really promising but it's the same problem I have with most of the books by this author...SO MANY DETAILS I DON'T GIVE A SH*T ABOUT!! There were so many unnecessary details that just made this boring and long for no reason

4,5/5 ~ 9/10

This book was riiiiiiiight up my alley!
You know me, I love a good age gap story and the right amount of drama. Absolutely fabulous. This had pretty much everything I wanted in a story.
Our main couple was so good together. Via’s insecurities got to me towards the end but for most of the part, both of them were absolutely fabulous. Reid might be my new book boyfriend, he was absolutely brilliant.
I liked the sense of community in the book. Of finding your place in the world after starting over. And the spice was out of this world! The painting scene… oh my, that will live forever with me! ❤️ -
God this book really made me wanna end it all. Reid is UNREAL. Honestly, when is it my turn? @God MY TIME IS RUNNING OUT.
-
Screaming crying this book was insanely amazing!!!
Age gap(she’s older), one night stand and then she unknowingly ends up on a date with his dad, secret relationship. Spice within the first 10%. 🥵🥵
Okay seriously this book had me GIDDYYYY. I was kicking my feet, silently screaming into my fist, blushing!!! I loved it so much.
Reid is everything. I tend to get tired of reading books with main characters in their early 20s but oh my god this man. I love him so fucking much. The glasses. Think Milo Manheim 🤓🥵
Loved Via too. She took life by the horn after her divorce and I truly loved her. Gah there wasn’t a single complaint tbh. I loved everything.
THE KICKER AT THE END. 🤭🤭🤭 I called it. I knew it. I’m so fucking excited for that book. -
This was a cute age-gap story. Well-written. I loved the internal struggle of Via trying to come to terms with her feelings for Reid. Cute small town scene. Well written.
-
I loved everything about this. I definitely binge read this in one sitting. Reverse age gap is a trope I never knew I needed. Now I need more of it, especially if the MMC is as smooth and charismatic as Reid. I love how he swoons over Via from the very beginning. Their chemistry was off the charts!
This story absolutely had me swooning and giggling like a teen with a crush. It was sweet and oh so spicy. -
Micalea Smeltzer’s writing always manages to suck me in and feels flawless. I loved this small town, reverse age gap romance. This was such a beautifully written story. The characters felt so real, and I wish there were more reverse age gap romances like this. I love how this book shows it is never too late to go after your dreams and pursue your own happiness.
Via (32) has quit being a lawyer and picked up her life in San Francisco to move across the country to a small town in Maine after her divorce. She never wanted to be a lawyer, and her real passion was art. She has bought a rundown building, sight unseen, to open an art store and she will be living in the apartment above it. The place is a mess, and she has to hire a contractor to renovate the building.
Her sister (who I absolutely love) talks her into going out and having a one night stand. She has an amazing night with a young 21 year old she met at the bar, Reid Crawford. They had an instant connection, and their chemistry is off the charts. Reid wanted to date her immediately, but Via was too scared to start anything due to her cheating ex-husband and their age difference. She leaves without getting his number and plans on never seeing him again. However, she runs into him again when she tries going out on a date with her contractor, Reid’s father.
Let me tell you, Reid Crawford was EVERYTHING!!! He is everything I want in a hero. He was so patient, sweet, supportive, and sexy as hell. He was very mature for his age, and he was perfect for Via. They had so much in common, and they had a deep connection. I loved how he was all in from the start and decided to pursue her by building a deeper connection through sweet dates and no sex. Don’t worry, though they do have a great sexual relationship.
I loved how this book dealt with Via’s infertility issues and the reveal of the reverse age gap romance. I felt like the resolution was so realistic, too, and not just an easy fix for any issues. I absolutely loved the sister, Reid’s dad, and the book club. I wish I had a book club like hers. I can't wait for her sister’s romance!
Thank you to Valentine PR for providing the ARC.
TW: Infertility issues, mention of previous miscarriages -
Giving this a 3.75 mainly because I was like this
the whole time I was reading. -
Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am obsessed with this book!
I had the absolutely HONOR of BETA reading this book and it might actually be my favorite book of Micaleas to date....which is honestly saying a lot because I love everything of hers. (Lachlan about did me in with his perfectness).
When I tell you guys that you are going to fall head over heels in love with Via and Reid, I'm not even being dramatic....they are just absolutely perfect. And the way that I squealed at the end....no literally....I all caps messaged both Emily and Micalea and then voice noted them.
E and M are the dream team....everything about this is just perfect. I can't wait to hug this book. I'm STILL smiling thinking about them. -
What a beautiful, BEAUTIFUL story about chasing dreams and putting yourself first no matter the age or what society deems appropriate!
Via is 32, newly divorced and for the first time in her life she’s doing something just for herself! Leaving behind a job as a lawyer and her old life in San Francisco, she up and moves across the country, to a small town in Maine that she’s never been before, buys a building which she wants to turn into an art store and to live in the small apartment above!
Deeply hurt by her ex husband’s infidelity and her issues with fertility, Via is not ready to seek love again…
Enter Reid, 21 years old, independent, mature and an all round hotty 😍.
After they spend one night together, it is clear that their connection and chemistry is off the charts, but Via is scared and just not ready for a new relationship, not to mention she’s weary of what people will say with her being 11 years older! So she cuts Reid off…
But life has a funny way of doing things differently than you’ve planned and they meet again. After her date with her contractor Derrick. Who happens to be Reid’s dad 🙈.
Oh my, oh my, I loved every single page of this book! Reid was so down to Earth, so stable and went steady with things, and he was exactly what Via needed! Patient and understanding!
The very sensitive topic of infertility was handled with respect, and as someone who has dealt with almost the same issues, I deeply appreciated the approach!
That little preview of what’s to come had me SCREAMING, so I am very IMPATIENTLY waiting for more 🤭 -
This was a sweet read, but in all honesty there was potential for this to be so much more and it fell flat for me.
In the beginning I feel as though the plot is so captivating and fast paced but it fell down on character development. And I feel as tho I was slightly misled in terms of ‘dating’ the father. Derrick and Via dated once and it read as pretty platonic so really he had no reason to go on like he was scorned. Even if he did like Via he didn’t do anything about it, months went between their original date and when he found out about Via and his son, I just don’t get why he was acting so childish
I was also expecting a hell of a lot more angst and conflict but it just wasn’t there and to be honest I know this is a reverse age gap romance however for half this book all the FMC does is whinge on about their age difference, I wanted to see not only her internal conflict with this but also how she combatted this.
However as much as I was slightly let down by this I am intrigued by the next book (Izzy and Derrick) and I’m hoping maybe the next one works better for me. -
I received this as an ARC.
Wow. Just wow.
I am so in love with Reid. He’s perfect. He’s patient. He is EVERYTHING. this book is 1000000000% worth the read and I am so so happy to have read it. The emotions, the story, the conflicts… just done so well. And the outcome was so realistic and not forced and I just know my mind is going to hold onto this story for a while. These two characters are so good together and I’m just sad it ended. I wish I could read a story of their whole lives. Via is such a strong FMC and Reid is such a match to her energy it’s crazy. The chemistry is just OFF THE CHARTS.
everyone needs to read this story ASAP I just know people are gonna love this. -
how can the man be this good??? 🤌🏼
"We haven't said what yet? I love you?" When she presses her lips together, I know I'm right. "I'm not going to give you those words yet. Not when I know they'd scare you. But Via?" I bring my lips to the shell of her ear. "When you are ready, I'm going to say it over and over again until the day I die, and I'm going to show you with my body exactly what it means to me."
Reid <333 -
First and foremost, thank you so much Micalea Smeltzer for this advanced copy of 11:11. I’m such a huge fan of The Wildflowers duet, receiving this arc was an absolute honor!
✨”11:11. I close my eyes, making a wish. I wish for this move to be the right thing.”
11:11 is PURE PERFECTION!! I’ve never read a reverse age gap, romance before, this was my first, so I was definitely a little nervous to begin with. However, the story was so good I had no issue settling in to the change.
11:11 gives you quiet the ride, I laughed, I teared up, I swooned, I experienced anger and sympathy for Via and all she’s been through prior. Just a rollercoaster of emotions.
There are a couple touchy topics in the book, that had me choked up for Via, but there was a lot of humor too to balance it out. Just overall, the book flowed so perfectly, and was just a cozy feel good read too me. I enjoyed Via and Reid’s story so much! I can’t wait for 11:11 to release so the world can enjoy this masterpiece. I also have my fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that Izzy gets a book. I’m almost certain I know who she ends up with. 👀
✨”Remember, everything is temporary anyway. Me. You. The stars in the sky. We're all just a blip. Take the risk. I'm worth your while."✨ -

Reverse age gap? Count me in. But...
I didn't like Via and Reid, I just didn't believe in them being together. Chemistry was there, but that's it. When she is 32 and he is 21, he really have to be more interested than he was.
Also, I just have to mention it- this story was WAY too long (a little bit over 500pages and too much everyday stuff) and some of the dialogues were really cringy. -
snooze of the century.
-
I’m super grateful to receive the arc version of this! thank you so much! HOLY SHIT???? THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHINGGGG, I am quite literally obsessed, micalea has done it again, she has written an absolute masterpiece, a work of ART! this book was so beautifully written, we see a newly divorced ‘older’ woman moving to a small town and a young man struggling to figure out what he wants to do, and the personal and interconnected journey these two characters go on was such an amazing experience to read about, we saw them develop, especially via! starting this book as one pov and switching to dual was such a smart move, I loved the mystery of not knowing anything about the one night stand man at the beginning and then getting to see his inner thoughts, it’s added so much depth to reid! the emotions during this book really put me through a whirlwind and the conflicts were so well done, everything slotted into place perfectly! I adored vias character, she had so many internal struggles which were evident after what she’s been through and she really worked on herself but took everything at her own pace, she was so brave and such a badass fmc! as for reid, he was so patient and understanding of everything via, whilst also making sure his own voice was being heard, he was such a good match for via in every single way, I loved him so much and his golden retriever like personality! overall, an amazing book I will recommend till the end of time, with strong character arcs, a beautifully written journey, and a grippy plot!

“Everything is temporary anyway. Me. You. The stars in the sky. We're all just a blip. Take the risk. I'm worth your while."
Absolutely enjoyed this story!! Micalea never fails!
I laughed out loud several times. I freaking loved Reid! He was just everything especially for his age. Ya girl was impressed! I also loved Via and her strength to persevere through really hard times.
Truly loved and enjoyed all the characters and the story as a whole.
I look forward to reading about Via’s sisters story Izzy in Micaela’s upcoming book. -
Another book that was advertised perfectly on social media and delivered😌
Micalea’s books have been on my tbr for a while but her launch leading up to 11:11 had me dying to pick up this book and I’m so happy it didn’t disappoint.
Via has just left her husband and moved across the country to start a new life. From wife to single and lawyer to artist we join her on this new journey. Via was instantly easy to relate to and had me hooked on starting her new life with her. Four chapters in and we meet the love interest Reid and the chemistry is instant. I usually prefer a slow burn but the writing for this was perfect and the smut was so satisfying.
Reid was truly the perfect man and I hate to say it but I just don’t believe 21 year olds like him exist. He’s handsome, he’s respectful, he cooks, and he’s a bit kinky in the bedroom. What more could you ask for!? I truly loved getting to know him and how he gave Via all the love she deserves and more.
Along with their relationship we get some other stories of Via opening her own business, creating art, joining a book club, and making friends. She was honestly just living my dream life and I loved it so much.
The side characters were all wonderful, or wonderful to hate, and it set up for the next book perfectly!
Oh by the way, Reid says he can fuck you better than his dad can, but I guess we won’t find out for sure until book 2🤭 -
New Micalea Smeltzer - yes please! The woman can write an age gap book, that is for sure!
Via packs up her life after her divorce and moves to a small town she googled 😂 to open an art studio. She ventures out on the town with a slight shove from her sister and meets Reid. THE ABSOLUTE CINNAMON ROLL, WALKING GREEN FLAG.
Could this man be any more dreamy? Be prepared to fall head over heels for him cos damn, he was swoony. He was absolutely not shy at letting Via know that he wanted her and he was so damn patient and I just loved that! I loved Via so much too; I loved how she started to put herself and her happiness first and that led to such an amazing relationship, group of friends and sense of belonging in her new home.
Everything about this book made me feel so happy; it was such a joy to read and I loved the journey that Reid and Via took together for their happily ever after. Also the PEEP at the next book 🫠🫠🫠🫠🤭🤭🤭🤭😱😱😱😱
