His baseball stats are perfect.

When Danielle Ashley looks closer, she realizes so is everything else.

A sinful smirk. Downright delicious body. And if the way Lincoln Landry pursues her, even when she tries to shut him down, means anything—so is his stamina.
There’s no denying the chemistry between them. Their attraction is fierce. They’re both single, share amazing banter, and they both adore children.

What’s the problem? It’s as tangled as their sheets.

So I'm currently in this crazy kind of post book bliss. Have you ever experienced that? Finishing a book and not immediately clamoring through your Kindle to see what to read next? Yeah, that's where I'm at. While this is not completely unchartered territory for me. It's territory I haven't had to navigate for quite some time. So yeah I think I'm just happy for the time being to proverbially cuddle up to Lincoln Landry and bask in our time together. Revisit some scenes, listen to the playlist because I just don't feel like moving on.

I'm totally shocked at the sentence I'm about to type. Lincoln Landry is now my favorite Locke Love! Uuggghhh you have no idea how hard that was for me because I've loved Max Quinn from the minute he showed up in The Exception. But there is something so genuine about Linc that I can not help but to absolutely love him! He's hot, confident, sexy as hell. But his momma raised him right so he's also a gentleman. He's kind hearted, thoughtful and swoony beyond belief!

This book for me is perfection. No it's not earth shattering, rip your heart to shreds, tons of emotions Adriana. What it is is the amazing continuation to a contemporary series centered around a family that you will adore. It's fun, flirty, sexy, settle in with a blanket and some wine, relax and enjoy the ride kind of read. Because we've met most of these characters previously in Sway (and if you haven't you really should) it feels like getting together with old friends. Family get togethers, inside jokes. and sibling banter that will honestly make you want to become a Landry.

Dani is a great addition to this crew. She's candid, sweet, a little gun shy when it comes to Linc but she finds out pretty quickly that resistance is futile. LOL! So if you need to reset from the holiday hustle and bustle don't hesitate to unwind with Swing.

    5.0 "HOME RUN" STARS!!!

"This is what I've been looking for, the missing piece of my life that was only visible when everything else was stripped away."

Squeee!!! This is so wonderful and funny and hilarious and it really is one of the best heart warming, light hearted and swoony read ever!!! And really it's one of the reasons why I sooo love to root for Adriana Locke's work. Anticipating in her every releases is an understatement because if there is a right term more than that, it's how I define myself looking forward to her every book release. Swing is no different. After sobbing and bawling like a baby with WITS, I have been laughing, swooning, and soooo madly in love with Dani and another yet Landry..but then, move over Barett because Lincoln is just my man. DIBS! Good thing though my reader's cover is water proof because I've been drooling all over. And guess what? I set aside my panties because there's really no point wearing one. ;)
And that serves your warning, Do NOT wear any panties and make sure your reader is water proof. Prepare your heart too, because you'll gonna get broken, because well...Lincoln is MINE. #HomeRun8
The confidence he carries is such a turn-on. Borderline cocky. Halfway arrogant, yet he pulls it off because he has every right to be those things. He’s delicious. Hot. Talented. Wealthy. From what the media says, he’s also funny and kind and sweet. Screw him and his perfect resume. And flawless face. And delicious body. And probably game-winning stamina. I’m going to be a mess today just thinking about it. ~Dani

I can’t with this girl. She’s gorgeous with her olive skin and dark, exotic eyes. Full lips that nearly reach her high cheekbones when she kills me with that smile. Her black hair was piled on top of her head with curls falling out of the haphazard mass. Sexy. As. Fuck. ~Lincoln

Lincoln and Dani is hands down one of those characters you'll definitely love. I have nothing to say about them. Physically they are depicted as both well endowed but what comes to my mind about them is that they are perfect for each other and really there is no denying with their chemistry. It was effortless and even just the first few pages you'll definitely have a soft spot for both of them. They are in a way opposite in terms of family relationships but they are just molded so perfectly I was just left sighing because they are just every woman's fantasy. For goodness sake, I was literally laughing out loud over the hilarity and at the same time the cuteness and sweetness of Linc it's impossible not to swoon. He's a definition of swoon and sexy..oh damn make him Mr.Perfect! And Dani, what-the-ever-loving-hell this woman is for when I am here? Kidding aside, I love her and she is just the right woman for Linc. I get where she's coming from and I felt sorry not for her though but to the persons who brought her in this world. But even then, I admire her strength and her heart. Both leads had issues but there was no unnecessary drama involved. Just a straightforward story of their growth and journey towards what really is their purpose in life and in each other. I tell you, you'll gonna love it as much as I did. Because these two is just the epitome of of a couple so flawed yet so perfect. And Lincoln? he'll definitely will romance the hell out of you. After reading this, hmmm...I don't think you'll ever think of water and ice once again because Addy as always will bring you another bomb! And it was really a BOMB!
    'It's like this,..
Meeting her has put me in a position.
Like..I'm standing at the plate in the championship game. We're down by three and bases are loaded. Full count. The perfect pitch is coming and I'm a fucking idiot if I don't swing."

In totality, Adriana Locke is a genius in her own ways. The story is light hearted and in a way somewhat predictable but then it was flawless and just a perfect and a refreshing story a reader can dream of. It's a story so inspiring making a reader definitely smile, laugh and have fun reading because it wasn't boring despite the fact that there was no drama or something you have to look forward. (But, Oh My God!!! There's just plenty!) What was delivered is a story of growth, understanding, acceptance, belonging more than falling in love and love itself. It's a real story of two souls trying to be who they are, finding their selves where they really belong and realizing what really would make a difference. I tell you, no drama but just a book to entertain with a depth and substance. I laughed, swooned, turned on because it was just so hot and sexy but then I cried too with sadness that really gripped my heart and with utter joy because of how I love the story was portrayed. It was so unique in every way because as always, Adriana Locke delivered it with passion. I love it to pieces!!!

    Another MASTERPIECE!

So now are you ready for Tennessee Arrows' Star centerfielder?
You have to and you'll not gonna regret it. Highly recommended.

➦I'm not sure I'll be classifying this book as sports romance on my blog - I don't remember any descriptions of actual game play - but this Landry brother is a big deal in baseball. Lincoln is hot, smart, successful... but... he has recently hurt his shoulder. So he has a sad.
    description

➦Now he has to go to therapy and he doesn't have much time to heal. Lincoln meets Danielle, who works in child services, by accident, when he goes for his therapy session at the hospital.

➦She, of course, knows who the famous athlete is, but she refuses to go on a date with him. But Landry men are persistent, so what does he do? He leaves his wallet on her table. With his # on a sticky note right on it. #realsmooth

➦And that's how it starts. But you know what the problem is here? Danielle's parents are complete douchebags who have been paying her 0 attention all her life. And on top of it all her dad was also a baseball player so Danielle doesn't want to be an athlete's wife just like her mother.

➦So with a possibility of Lincoln being traded to a different team there's a great chance of heartbreak. Would Danielle be willing to leave the job she loves to follow a man? Would Lincoln give up baseball for love?

➦There's a bit of an insta-love happening in this novel but I didn't mind it. There was enough conflict and angst to keep me going. The supporting characters are all great and I'm very fond of the whole Landry family and can't wait to read about other brothers. *rubs hands* Graham next with his office romance story... mmm mmm

After reading the first book in this series, I couldn’t wait to get to Lincoln Landry’s book! Lincoln’s story was sweet, sexy, and heartwarming. I loved the guy. I think I liked this one even more than the first.

Lincoln is a pro-athlete (baseball) but after an injury, his future is a little unstable. When he meets Dani, he’s captivated by her. And the fact that she wants nothing to do with him at first? It makes him want her all the more. Dani has bad experiences with athletes and she isn’t about that life. As hard as she tries to stay away from Lincoln, there is just something about him she can’t resist.

Honestly, the push and pull from Dani wasn’t my favorite thing ever, but I did understand her. I loved when she met his family and you could tell she was falling just as hard for Linc as he was her. There were some rocky moments, but the ending was absolutely perfect.

Once again, Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott make an amazing pair narrating this book. They did a fantastic job voicing Lincoln and Dani and you won’t hear me complaining if they voice the next one as well. I’m so excited that the next book is Grahams- I’m so intrigued!

If you’re looking for a fun-loving read that’s steamy, light, and has a great family dynamic, pick up this one!!

    5 'New Season' Stars!

Gah! I am in love with this family! I knew when I started reading this series that the Landry family would steal my heart. And they are doing it. Completely. I adored the first book and the second one is no different. It brought me the same feelings but with a fantastic new couple and a new theme (sports, yay!).

Swing is the second installment in the Landry Family series by Adriana Locke and it's now time for Lincoln Landry to fall head over heels for a woman. This sexy ballplayer is getting back fron an injury when he meets the lovely Danielle Ashley and he instantly decides that he wants her. Badly. And he will do anything to have her.

This is dangerous. He is dangerous. My willpower is skirted, chipped away with every interaction, and I’m feeling very bare these days.

Man.. I do love the Landrys.. First Barrett and now Lincoln. He is such an amazing book boyfriend! He is cocky and kind of a playboy but does he change when he falls in love! Dani changes everything for him and he fights with all he has to beat their problems. Dani is such a great heroine also. A woman scared to love because of her situation with her parents but it is impossible for her not to fall in love when Linc is decided to stay in her life.

“This is my second favorite place in the world,” he whispers against my ear.
“Second? What could be more perfect that this?”
    “Inside you.”

Of course, the chemistry between this couple is smoking HAWT. Adriana is very good on that (and on everything else too! lol). The sex is mindblowing and when the feels get in the mix, even better. Dani and Lincoln are so funny and so sweet together and I love they found ther happily ever after in each other. So beautiful!

There’s not a play I could make, a hit I could take, a game I could win that would give me the feeling of being with her. The peace in my soul. The happiness in my heart. The feeling of doing something that makes a difference.

Therefore, I am rating Swing with 5 STARS because another Landry has stolen my heart and I am sure all of them will! I loved the whole story and this brilliant couple that I connected with instantly. I cannot wait to start reading the next book (Graham!!!!!!). Of course, I highly recommend it!

Swing was an enjoyable read and I liked getting more from the Landry family. Lincoln was confident and sexy, but not arrogant to where I wanted to kick him. It was fun getting to see him have to work for Dani's affection and it made the story very interesting. I can't say it's my favorite in the series, and there were times it seemed to drag for me, but overall I did enjoy reading this. I would definitely recommend it for anyone that likes a sweet read with a hot Hero. It can be read as a standalone, but if you like to know all the characters that are mentioned then I would recommend reading Sway first so you can be introduced to the family.

I'm so sad that I finished this book. I love Landry Family! Already after the first book in the series I knew it'd be my new favorite series. And I wasn't disappointed with the youngest Landry's brother story.

About the plot: Lincoln Landry is a hot, professional baseball player. He got injured at the end of the season and now his future is uncertain. He attends therapy and tries to reconcile with the fact that his career could be over. One day when the elevator opened on the wrong floor at the hospital, he saw Danielle and simply followed her to her office. Although she doesn't make it easy for him, he is determined to win her over. Even playing a little dirty.

“This little game incenses her, riles her up. If I were the true gentleman my mother raised, I’d warn her that seeing her pissed off only makes me want her worse. Good thing I’m not.”

Danielle Ashley is a director of Child Services at the hospital. She is ambitious and focused on her work, but also very lonely. She has one rule in life. Never involve with the an athlete, especially baseball player and don't live life like her mother. But the fate makes she draws them like a magnet.

“He’s my kryptonite. Attractive, cocky, confident, sweet, great in bed, and a fucking baseball player. He’s every sin I want to make wrapped up in one delectable body.”

Final thoughts: What I most like about this book? The Landry Family and how tightly they are. Each member of this family has their own unique personality and with Lincoln is no different. He is the youngest and most mischievous. With women cocky and confident. He also carries the burdens to rise to his brothers and sisters. His persistence and thoughtfulness, while not always easy fight for Danielle's heart, can easily steal the heart of the reader.

The chemistry and flirting between them is intense. But only when they take the matter further it gets really hot. Because of Danielle, their relationship is a little rollercoaster which gives you some anxiety and tension. But most of the time it really is sweet and funny.

“You,” he says, his mouth up against my ear, “are going to be the death of me.”
“Don’t die until after you fuck me, please.”

It sport romance but the plot happens between seasons so you will not find there descriptions of games and things like that. More focused on the family, allowing yourself to love and dealing with the past and an unknown future.

“The perfect pitch is coming and I'm a fucking idiot if I don't swing.”

This is definitely my favorite series this year. And although I cheer for the author in writing her books, for me she could focus only on the later books in the series. Because the next Graham's books couldn't come soon enough.

I love Adriana Locke and the characters she creates, especially the men. Lincoln was AMAZING!! I liked Danielle well enough but her issues were a bit frustrating at times. However, these characters were realistic. Their actions, reactions, thoughts and feelings were incredibly lifelike. Most importantly, they seemed normal, approachable and relatable.

True to Mrs. Locke's style, this story was not only refreshingly unique but sexy, witty, charming and sweet. One of my favorite features of this book was its banter. Lincoln and Danielle were hot, funny and entertaining.

Honestly, this was a feel-good romantic story. If you're looking for something light, sweet and a bit of fun, then look no further than this HOT read!!

Sexy and completely delightful! The flirtatious banter and chemistry was off the charts! There were no heavy conflicts needing to be resolved. The characters were normal, down-to-earth people and were fun to read about. Their situations mirror real life and they deal with common problems most of us face in our own lives.

The story was touching and sweet. I started out not really feeling it but then it kicked in. I really enjoyed reading about Lincoln and Danielle. I adored Dani. She was smart mouthed and flirty- she is a complete package when looking for a heroine. With his incredible physique, easy banter and sexy voice, Lincoln will melt your panties with just a smile.

The chemistry between them was undeniable and watching them fall was such a satisfying adventure. It was a nice little romance, but nothing extra special. I actually would have liked a little more from the two of them.

For a light, fun, feel good sports romance you can't do much better than Adriana Locke's Swing.

I just love the voice of Wen Ross as the Landry brothers!

  • Mahima

    I LOVED Lincoln. He's FLAWLESS ❤️
I didn't really like Danielle. Okay, I don't like an unsecure heroine. We all face insecurities at some point of time, but I hate when someone starts judging the other person/ a situation wholly based on the insecurity.

And I've already established the fact that I can never be fan of Adriana Locke's writing style. She writes too blandly for me to get excited about 'what will happen next'

Yup, that's why I didn't love the book as much as rest of my GR friends did.😂

  • Penny

    I don't know how
Adriana Locke does this, but every time I read her stories I become really invested in the characters' lives. The story itself its not that good (this one it was too insta-lust/attraction even for me) but somehow after reading this I want to read the story of every character mentioned.

Like I said, the story wasn't that original or interesting but I absolutely loved Lincoln and his banter with Dani.

I'll probably pick the next book soon, I really want to read Graham's story and I'd love if we get a glimpse of these two. Like I said, it's not that good or original but I was so invested in the story and I loved Lincoln so much so I'll give +1 star. 4 ⭐

Another enjoyable romantic read. I do love the Landry family.

  • Mandy

Liked it but didn't love it -

    The positives:

I did the audiobook and I love that the way this one was done - the male does the male voices and the female does the female voices. I've never listened to another audiobook done this way and I really loved it. It was like they were having conversations if that makes sense.

I loved Lincoln and the Landry family.

I loved that Dani had a good heart and cared so much for the people she helped.

    What I didn't like:

The relationship development between these two seemed really rushed and I didn't really feel their connection. I honestly didn't see what Lincoln saw in Dani because she was constantly pushing him away and wasn't really nice to him.

The ending was silly and I hated it - if he had 5 years left of playing why would he quit for a girl he's only been seeing for a few months and honestly, why would she support that even with her hatred of the game all that it has taken from her. It really annoyed me.

So, basically, I liked the writing but had some issues with the characters and the decisions they made. I have only read one other book by this author but loved that book, I just think this one wasn't what I was looking for. I definitely would like to read more by this author in the future and more from the Landry family.

It appears that I am in the minority with Swing. I went in hoping it would be a home run when in reality, for me at least, it was a strike out. I tried, I really did to connect or find anything about Danielle that I could find likable or even tolerable but I didn’t. She was self-centered, bitchy, and immature. I hate when characters make others pay for the sins of others. Time and time again Lincoln proved that he was nothing like Danielle’s parents but instead of actually opening up her eyes and seeing that all she did was push him away and I was sick of her attitude. Lincoln is who had me wanting to continue to read. He may have been the playboy baseball player in the past but his views on everything are changing. He loves baseball, it is his life, but he is more than just a baseball player. He deserved someone so much better than Danielle, and while the chemistry between them was hot, along with the sex, I just didn’t like her attitude when it came to his career.

I can’t say to read or not read Swing. It very well could be a case of me just not connecting at all and being so aggravated by the heroine that I couldn’t see anything good about her by the end. Make your own decision and form your own opinion but sadly for this book whore Swing was a swing and a miss and one I was disappointed in.

OMG! I absolutely ADORED these characters!!! A SEXY and SWOONY romance that will make your knees buckle and your heart melt! Just when I thought I had my fill of sports romances for the year, Ms. Locke gives us SWING, and now all I want is MORE!

    swing teaser

  • RentasticReads

This family will be the death of me. I swear. You just won't ever get enough of them. Every single book will just have you so curious and dying for more when it comes to the Landry siblings. In SWAY, Lincoln made appearances, threw jokes and teased his way around Barrett and Alison. The youngest Landry sibling just made you thirsty for his hot, blazing glory and story. And now, here in SWING, Graham made such a huge impact I didn't expect he would. He's always so calm and collected, so in control of everything all the time that'll make you think what happens when that breaks down. What's behind that persona? What makes him tick? And now I'm getting too wrapped up with the Landry this book isn't about! (Sheesh, my bad!)

Before I say anything else and go all swoony over a certain guy named Lincoln, I'd just like to mention how much I appreciate Adriana Locke focusing this book heavily on family and what it means to have one. That you can never really be alone in life. That family isn't only defined by blood. That relying and leaning on someone doesn't make you weak. The dynamic between the members of the Landry family she created will warm your heart, make you sentimental and feel so welcomed. You'll crave to be a part of them—of that happiness, love and even the craziness that happens inside their household.

Lincoln Landry went above and beyond everything I thought he'd be. I've always seen him as the happy-go-lucky jokester of the family. The big shot baseball player everybody loves and talks about in the world of sports. Mr. Mega Bucks. The fun one. The boy who had the world on the palm of his hand. Yes, he's all that all right—he will charm your panties off and set them on fire in a blink of an eye. But there's also a side to him that will knock you off kilter and just melt all of your insides. He has this compassion and loyalty when it comes to kids and most especially, his family that's a very rare trait for a young man like this Landry, I think. Especially with the fame he has, he's still so grounded above all that. He's got a huge heart that will eat you whole, that's for sure. And there's nobody more perfect to be Dani's match except for this guy.

Before Lincoln, Danielle Ashley had the worst luck when it came to family. Every time she said something about her parents, how her life was like before she moved to Tennessee, it was like taking an arrow straight to the heart. It didn't help matters that she's an only child. She always felt like she had to tackle the world alone and promised herself to stay away from everything that took her parents away from her. I understood her fears and insecurities. I felt them. I was even rattled by all the coldness and tension between her family. But with all the ways Lincoln proved his worth and tried to win her trust, her heart and her mind? I just wanted to push her and yell at her to go for it already. For him. And this was maybe halfway through the book. Nevertheless, the moment she woke up and finally took the leap, it was like I was able to breathe easier. Nobody deserves a family and a man to take her in, belong to and call her their own more than Dani does.

I'm completely thrilled that Adriana Locke just continues to trump every single book she publishes. Just when you thought the last book she released in the series was the best or the previous book boyfriend you claimed was the sexiest and most desirable one, well you better think twice. Because even I'm surprised that this Landry just owned me and took over Barrett's glorious spot along with his bunch o' grapes. I'm serious. And I won't even be the least bit surprised when that throne gets occupied by a different Landry once SWITCH comes out. But for now, Lincoln Harrison Landry, you're mine.

  • Dita

"My happiness is now with you. I think yours is with me too."

OMG Lincoln...My Lincoln....I'm so sorry Barrett but Lincoln hit the homerun, therefore he's become my fav in the Landry Family. I love him so much. He's so cocky, confident, sweet and super hot. He's got some insecurities, but that's what makes him perfectly imperfect. He's a player, flirting and getting laid it's his territory, so it's really adorable when he finally met his match, and when his trick didn't work, he got so serious and determined to swing the bat and get what he wants. Yup that's MY Lincoln.
And Dani...oh love this girl, she's got so many insecurities and fears, which is understandable coming from that crazy family (I'd like to let Linc hit those people with his bat). This girl got me teary, I totally can feel her doubts, loneliness and pain.

So let's talk about this book, I already love Linc from the first book and this book got me love him so much more.
There's so many emotions here. This book put a big smile on my face, got me laugh, I even cried at some scenes and definitely got hot and bothered (thanks to Linc's creativities) on some other scenes.
This book is about family and love. About what you're gonna do when your life is crumble and heartbreak is in front of you, when life throws you a curve ball.
Yup this one definitely another beautiful sweet book by Adriana Locke.

All the members of Landry Family are here, so yeah I got sneak peak to what's coming. And as always their banters is so funny and refreshing and full of love, got me craving to be a part of them.
And if you're a fan of Adriana Locke and read most of her books, you'll find some of the characters in here too, it makes me want to re-read those books.

If you love beautiful sweet romance packed with emotions...You must read this..it's a MUST-READ book.
If you're looking sweet book with cocky baseball player...this one is definitely for you.
If you're a fan of Adriana Locke, well you don't want to miss this Landry.
    So Read it..READ THIS BOOK.

Lincoln Landry hit a homerun with my heart :)

This was an absolute feel good read. I honestly thought this story was going to go one way from things I assumed from book one, and I was dead wrong, and I'm actually glad about it for once.

Lincoln Landry absolutely blew me away! He is funny, sweet, and sexy. He's going through a rough patch in his baseball career because of an injury, but he doesn't let it keep him down for long. With a little help from a woman who helps jump start his heart.

Danielle comes into Lincoln's life at the exact right time, and by accident now less. Danielle is sassy, smart, and beautiful! She meets Lincoln hit for hit in the banter department. She's got some issues going on because of her parents being pretty awful, but she's not the same way. She wants to be better than they were, and she wants to ensure she does so by having some rules for herself. Lincoln just may be the one to break the rules with though.

I personally love how these two come together at first, and the sparks that are felt from the very start. Lincoln is of course instantly attracted to her, but she's not like other girls who fall head over heels for him. She keeps him on his toes for sure. I love how these two progressed slowly, and how natural their feelings for each other really came across! I love how they were a rock for each other when they needed each other. How they just knew what the other person needed or didn't need.

All in all this was a great read, that I highly recommend to anyone and everyone. It's extremely well written, and kept me interested until the very last page! There's a bit of humor, a bit of angst, a bunch of hot and steamy naughty, and a really sweet love story! Read it :)

If you read Sway then you already had the pleasure of meeting Barrett's brother Lincoln, the outgoing and very hot baseball player. I loved him in Sway and couldn't wait to read his story. Swing is a great book if you are looking for a light hot contemporary romance. Lincoln is such a nice guy and very determined. I loved how he met Danielle and how she handled him. She is not the type of woman to fall on her knees for him, and she played a little bit of hard to get. But not that much to make it annoying, it was obvious to Linc that she was attracted to him. Dani had every reason to stay away from him because of her issues with athletes. But I was happy that she didn't push him away, that she was honest with her feelings.

It loved that every Landry family member made an appearance in this book. They are all so amazing and warm, just how a family is suppose to be. It was beautiful how they welcomed Dani into their family. I also loved the hot sex scenes, Linc definitely knows what he is doing. Swing was a solid romance story but there was nothing extra in the story. It was very predictable and sweet, and I was just looking for something more. That is the only reason I gave this book 3.5 stars. Definitely pick this book up if you love hot sexy contemporary romance, with a very charismatic baseball player.

I expected it to be better after the last book which I loved! This one was okay I didn't like Danielle she had a lot of issues which eventually she overcame but I found her annoying.

Lincoln was very sweet and wanted nothing but for Dani to let him in. He had his own issues to do with his injuries but I liked him more.

Swing is the second book in Landry Family Series but can totally be read a stand-alone novel. Told from dual points of view, Swing follows the story of Danielle and Lincoln. Danielle and Lincoln’s story is incredibly well written and sucks you in from the very first page. Lincoln knows exactly what he does to women and has a total cocky attitude. But, when he meets Danielle, he intrigued by her. For the first time, a woman isn’t dropping to his feet and begging to get into his bed. Lincoln doesn’t quite know what to do with that, but isn’t about to let Danielle out of his site….

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was incredibly well written and entertaining. I fell in love with Lincoln and Danielle right away. I loved their banter and couldn’t get enough of the two of them together. Their chemistry was off the charts and smokin’ hot. I found myself burning through the pages because I couldn’t get enough of their story.

Adriana Locke did an amazing job with this story. Not only did she deliver a swoon worthy romance with all the feels, but she gave me a story that checked off all my boxes for a fantastic read. I loved everything about this book, from beginning to end and can not wait to continue on with this series!

This book came highly recommended by my book bestie, Katie, so of course I had to give it a try! I couldn’t be happier that I did cause I really enjoyed this one!

Lincoln Landry in all his glory made me really like this book! His relationship with Huxley is so adorable! Around women, he seems to be quite full of himself, but when he’s around children, he seems more down to earth and humble. Speaking of humble, I thought it was incredibly sweet that Lincoln asked for permission for certain things, such as to enter Danielle’s office or to kiss her, because it showed that he really respected her and her boundaries. You can tell he truly listens to every word she says, because he does small gestures to bring a smile to her face and make her feel special. Signing them up for a class that she’d enjoy, or buying a coffee machine for his place with three types of creamer and her very own mug! I’m an absolute goner when a man stands up for and claims his woman and Lincoln does just that!

I really related to Danielle with her working with children for a living. She values her job, as it’s what brings her the most joy in her life, and she puts all her energy into providing fun activities for the children. Danielle also doesn’t have much of a family or support system, and it really warmed my heart to see her interact with the Landrys!

One thing I’m beginning to realize about this family, and something I’m not really used to is their completely unfiltered way they talk about their sex lives with each other! I was a little taken aback when Lincoln talks to his brother and goes into great detail about his sexcapades with Danielle, but learning how she talks about their sexy times with her best friend kind of leveled the playing field for me. It didn’t bother me as much since both of them were openly talking about their relationship with other people versus only one of them.

    Favorite Quotes:
    “I pick all.” -Lincoln

“Cut me off again and I’ll figure out a way to occupy your mouth,” -Lincoln

There’s not a play I could make, a hit I could take, a game I could win that would give me the feeling of being with her. -Lincoln

Swing is the second standalone in the Landry Family series by Adriana Locke and having not read the first one I can tell you that it does read as a complete standalone. I had zero problem keeping up with the characters and their relationship to the characters that are in the first book. I will say though that after reading this one I am eager to go back and read Sway now.

This was my first book by Adriana Locke. She has been on my to read list for a long time now but I had never gotten around to reading her backlist. That, I can tell you was a mistake on my part. Her writing is fun and her man is sexy and sweet.

'Screw him and his perfect resume. And flawless face. And delicious body. And probably game-winning stamina.'

I am love with Danielle and Lincoln. IN LOVE. She is a perfect heroine. She is strong willed and gives the playboy a run for his money. Lincoln is swoony and has all the right lines, but he is also sweet and kind and close with his family. Together they make the book perfect. It might not be high on angst but it gave me all the happy feels and made me swoon the whole way through.

I can now say I am an Adriana Locke fan and look forward to working my way through all her titles in the weeks to come. Pick this one up now. Trust me.

Adriana Locke has a gift of writing not only intense, emotional roller coaster style books, but also lighter, tender stories with emotion that still reaches deep inside and grab you by the heart. Swing is the latter...

We met the powerful, talented, handsome Landry family in Sway. In Sway, we are introduced to Lincoln, the athlete of the family. A major league ball player with a major league body and ego. Linc is all alpha and cocky, but often in a laugh out loud way. I couldn't help but love this ego loafed hottie with a very sensitive, sweet soul.

When Lincoln discovers Danielle, the sexual tension explodes off the page almost immediately. But Danielle has a painful past that causes her to desperately fight off Linc's advances, but have no fear - he wins her over. And it's there that the story takes off in a way that kept me glued to the page. She so wants to ignore her feelings and do what's 'right', but how can she ignore her perfect man right in front of her?

This may be a lighter story for Adrianna, but lighter doesn't mean without depth and emotion, and a whole lot of laughs and sexy yumminess. Love this story and loved the peek at the rest of the Landry family. I cannot wait to read the next story in this wonderful series.
