    “Do you crave the dark?”

This book was a real rollercoaster! I enjoyed it very much!

In this book we follow Wendy. Wendy's parents made a deal with a fate when Wendy was a baby and near death. If she is not married by her 20th birthday, she becomes the property of the shadow keeper. Finding a man is quite difficult when you have a mating mark on your face. No man wants a woman who actually belongs to someone else.
As a last resort, her parents organize a masquerade ball in the hope of quickly finding a husband for Wendy.
    But that's when disaster strikes..

Wendy is a well thought out character and is just a little bit different from other fmc's. you have 3 different stress reactions. Fight, flight and freeze. Wendy's stress response is freeze. And that makes her so believable for me! I often felt connected to Wendy. She had character traits that I recognized in myself!

I hate him for making me like him, then shattering me.

The side characters all have their own story and personality. Some are more fun than others.

Soon the story comes to a point where a murder mystery must be solved. I suspected almost everyone 🤣 but my first idea turned out to be (partly) correct!

The book has a fast pacing and you really fly through it! The details have also been carefully taken care of, making it a real Peter Pan retelling.

There is no spice but there is tension between the main characters. And there are so many secrets. I can't wait for book 2 because I still have so many questions!

    What can you expect:
    🖤dark Peter Pan retelling
    🖤no spice
    🖤single pov
    🖤a lot of secrets
    🖤murder mystery
    🖤tension
    🖤realistic fmc
    🖤autism rep (her little brother)
    🖤fantasy
    🖤deal with 'the devil'
    🖤Fated mates
    🖤 trauma

My first ARC 😍😍😍 and what a journey it was!!

Hot pirates, hot fairies, mates and a slow burn romance!! What more could you ask for? In no way, shape or form did I guess the ending. Fairytale retellings are not usually my thing - but I did like how this was done. There were nods to the original fairytale but this story was unique.

This book had excellent twists and turns. At no point was I bored reading this book. It seemed like poor Wendy just could not catch a break. I cannot wait to get my hands on the second book!

  • Nim_reads_a_lot

Wow. This is an intense and dark retelling of Peter Pan. Wendy is the narrator in this novel. Due to a bargain made by her parents when she was young that saved her life, she was cursed to be taken by a “shadow maker” figure on her twentieth birthday. The only way out is to get married before then. However, a golden mark appears on her face that lets the world know that she is one of the few in the world who has a mate. No one wants to marry a woman who has a mate no matter how rare it is to be fulfilled. So she is in a bit of a pickle and is stuck facing a terrifying future.

This story moves along in such an unpredictable way. I could not tell you what was happening next as so much insanity kept happening. Wendy as the narrator was frustrating as she was clueless. She had limited information and was finding things out so slowly. Since she was an unreliable narrator you had to scramble along and try not to gasp too much. And yes, there were a lot of twists and turns that made me gasp. I’m still not sure how this series will go!

This book had pirates, fairy dust, Neverland, Peter Pan with wings?!?, psycho Tink?!?, and the Lost Boys. John and Micheal, Wendy’s brothers, are major characters. I loved how Micheal was neurodivergent and the only character I liked by the end.

Big trigger ⚠️ warning. There is mention of SA towards women and children. It’s not detailed or long but it’s there. I wish there was a warning in the front of the book to prepare readers. Take care of yourself when reading!

I did enjoy the book and gave it 5 stars because it was well written and enthralling. Buckle up and be thrown into an adventure!

This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. There were so many moments I thought "wow, I figured it out." Only to be gasping at the plot twist the next minute. Wendy is faced with a harrowing decision, one she's been facing since childhood. Learn to be a perfect bride and attempt to procure a husband before she turns twenty, or be dragged away by the shadows on her birthday. At her birthday mascarade ball, everything she knows is challenged.
Her and her brothers are whisked away to Neverland, choosing what they think is the lesser of two evils. I immediately fell in love with The Lost Boys, although I was always suspicious of Neverland and Peter. I will say, Peter in this retelling is so true to what I imagine him to be like. Secretive, dark, and withholding. Trying to figure out his secrets and reasoning was captivating. Wendy was one of my favorite parts of the book. She's been groomed into this perfect image her whole life, and when her whole worldview is challenged, she doesn't know who she is anymore. I loved the progression of her character, even the darkest moments.
John was a welcomed addition that I didn't expect to feel for so much. He is so much the opposite of Wendy, grounding her. And sweet sweet Michael.
Throughout the book there were so many dark and twisted moments, that had me having to pause for a moment.
The ending was layered in so much twists and turns. I expected us to discover something we had missed in the beginning, but I was not expecting anything that unfolded. I won't spoil the book but saying anymore but.. This book was dark, mysterious, intriguing, mind bending and complex. It surpassed all of my expectations. I cannot wait to get my hands on the second book.

I have never been interested in reading fantasy before, but seeing the reviews on this book, I wanted to give it a try. I am glad I did! It's definitely a book full of twists and turns, and I had so many ideas and assumptions about how things would play out and end and let me just say, I was completely wrong. I love it when I can't guess the ending of a book. Will definitely be reading the next one in the series.

I absolutely DEVOURED this book - wow! 4.25 stars 🌟

This book felt like constant action and plot twist with some delicious tension. That cliffhanger at the end though 😭 I need book two NOW.

    ✨ Peter Pan reimagining
✨ betrayal & crazy plot twists
    ✨ winged fae
    ✨ shadow magic
✨ DARK but spice free (just how I like it 🤭)
    ✨ murder mystery

I really didn’t know I needed a Peter Pan reimagining in my life but this was so amazing- I need more 💛

I’m at a loss for words right now. This was the best Peter Pan retelling I have ever read. T.A. Lawrence is seriously one of the best writers. Her imagination is insane. I love darker books but it is so hard to find them without explicit content. The closed door books that claim to be dark are usually never that dark. Losing Wendy definitely earns its dark romance label and I am here for it. There were so many twists and turns in this book. Just when you think you know the answer, you’re thrown for a loop and proven to be wrong. Nothing is black and white. The characters are so complex and you don’t know who you’re supposed to be rooting for. No one is safe. This book is gut wrenchingly fantastic. I went through so many emotions reading this book. It’s going to stick with me for a long time. Great way to start the series and I cannot wait to find out what happens next.

*I was sent a complementary copy of the book with no expectations of a favorable review. All thoughts are my own.

    MY HEART.
5/5 dark fantasy neverland, Peter Pan spin off, tugs at the heart strings constantly, lord of the flies meets dark fantasy world meets “who is the real villain will someone explain this to me 😭” meets who murdered who help what is happening.

I feel like I’ve now read 3 different Peter Pan retellings and they’ve all been different in their own ways! (Which, yay!) but then I had seen that she’s anticipating 6??? books in this series?! Ah! 🥲

Anyways, so many questions and confusion in all the best ways

Spice <1 and I had seen on IG that I think she’s planning to keep things closed door / minimal ! But where there isn’t spice there most certainly is violence so just keep that in mind if you’re sensitive in that capacity 😳

This is the first book in the duet "The Lost Girl" by T.A. Lawrence. It is a dark fantasy retelling of Peter Pan. Please review any trigger warnings before reading - but in my opinion the book isn't that dark, just a tad twisted, but to some it may be to much.

Let me start off by saying, I am indifferent to the book, I neither loved nor hated it. It was interesting enough to keep my attention, and want to finish it as well as read book 2. But, there are a few aspects of the book that I just didn't like.

I do really like the way the author twisted the retelling though, it is different than most Peter Pan dark retellings. Its probably what kept me reading the most, because it was a very unique take on the story.

Wendy Darling, such a tortured soul, and has been through so much in her short time alive. Her childhood ruined because of the fear her parents instilled in her at an early age. What is worse, her dying of the plague at 5 years old, or growing up in fear knowing at the age of 20 you become the property of the Shadow Keeper? At least dying at a young age she would not have gone through the abuse and trauma. Personally... I cant stand her parents. I think they are truly horrible people and insanely selfish. Not only did they not let Wendy grow up as a normal child, they put crazy expectations on her and then forced her to do things purely so THEY did not lose her to the Shadow Keeper. Also, they made Wendy fearful of the shadows ONLY so she was scared enough to do ANYTHING they said to do, so that her curse would be broken. In addition to the abuse of her parents, she had to endure rejection after rejection from suitors, which took a toll on her self confidence.

On her last day before she would be swept off to the Shadow Keeper, her parents through a ball. A ball with one purpose only - to obtain a marriage before midnight. To her horror, the night ended in more questions than answers, a ballroom full of dead bodies, just for her to STILL be taken by the Shadow Keeper. But at least she was able to bring her brothers and they were able to flee from the madman of a Captain.

The shadow keeper and the terms of her captivity were not what Wendy imagined. After awhile, her and her brothers new lives didn't seem half bad. Wendy even falls in love with Peter Pan. But, there are SO many secrets that Wendy just doesn't have any answers too, and since no one will tell her, she is doomed to assume the worst.

The lost boys are being murdered... And the biggest question is, BY WHOM? Is there anyone Wendy can trust?

**two of the major things I did not like was Wendy's personality. Wendy is very back and forth, one moment she leans to the left than without even a reason she switches up and leans to the right. She seems rather dumb honestly. I get her being naive, but it seems she just... doesn't even remotely understand what goes on around her. I also do not even slightly understand why Wendy is smitten with the Captain – it would make more sense for her infatuation be because she wants information not because he gives her butterflies. Second thing I did not like was that there were a few times the way things were worded or explained just didn't flow properly and were a tad confusing. I had to reread several paragraphs a few times to understand what was being said.

There are plenty of twists, turns, loopholes, PLENTY of secrets, magic, betrayal, and so much more. Please take note that this book ends on a MAJOR cliffhanger...

Once again, while I wasn't head over heels for the story, it is still a decent one, and I would recommend to those who love dark & twisty fairytales. I also, look forward to reading book 2.

WOW. What a ride! I have waited a full 36 hours to try and recover before writing a review and I'm not sure it was enough. This book doesn't stop from the moment you start reading. Every time I thought I knew where we were headed, something else would happen. By the end of this book, I felt as lost and confused as Wendy and I think that's the point. If you're ready to dive in, hold your breath and get comfortable because there's no stopping until you reach the other side. Having read the Shattered Realms series by T. A. Lawrence, I shouldn't have expected any different. 🖤 Very excited to see where this story goes in future books.

*I received an ARC of this book. The opinions and thoughts are completely my own.

The fact this book took me just shy of a month to complete was astounding, I’m not here to hate on it but this gave me “first published book” vibes. I had high hopes in the first 100 pages but it was an absolute train wreck from there. If you want to read a story about a girl who’s parents forced her into prostitution at the age of 16 in hopes of marrying her off after making a deal with some fate to sell her away to Peter Pan aka male tinker bell (because of the fact he had wings in this adaptation) which actually turned out to be a vacation in the Bahamas compared to the hell her parents put her through until suddenly a new character showed up dead every other chapter and to make matters worse the lost boys where not in fact orphans but actually blood thirsty psychopaths who are far from likable just for the fact you just learned everyone’s names and then suddenly yep they’re dead or yep they just killed the last the character over a spit in the backyard. The amount of plot holes would take just about every spare inch of fabric in the world to patch up. I hated every character except for maybe the smallest brother he was alright. Wendy was a very pick me girl protagonist who constantly wondered why she always in danger and constantly complaining about it even tho she put herself into each said situation. The fact I have given it two stars is mercy the writing style was very unique and that’s what kept me going through most of the book. Would I recommend probably not but it was fun to pick apart at times. I have other books by this author and I hope they turn out better.

I was so lucky to receive a kindle ARC of this book from the author! Where to even begin? As a person who has read many a Peter Pan retelling, this is a Peter Pan retelling unlike any I have read before. I adored the world building, which I think can be hard to do well with a story that includes a place like Neverland that has been used many times before and we all have an idea of what Neverland is, but T. A. Lawrence made the world feel so fresh and different! I was captivated by her Shattered Realms series and I am pleased to say that Losing Wendy did not disappoint. The characters were well developed (I especially loved the representation of someone non neurotypical with the character Michael, I thought that was very well done) I am deeply invested in many of them. I loved the element of mystery T. A. Lawrence brought to this story. This is the first Peter Pan retelling I have read that has really tackled the mystery of the Lost Boys, their origins, and how they got to Neverland, and I was here for every second of it.

    This book has:
    -Shadow Daddy Peter Pan
    -Fated Mates
    -Slow Burn
    -Found Family
    -Twists and Turns

There was a section in the middle of the book that felt a little slow for me, which was the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. But I still had such a great time with this book, I need the next one immediately!!

  • _Fatimas_books

The author really brought up the 'dark' in a dark fantasy Peter pan retelling.

First, Thank you author for the arc

Second, to say I'm in shock is an underestimate.

    No because what? What? What?

⬆️⬆️ That was me the whole book.

This review is gonna be a whole lot of nothing because like I said I am in shock.

This is the kind of book that makes you stare at the ceiling for hours after finishing it. Cause it started of good okay? Then there was this mystery okay? And then the author made me forget how to breathe. I could've sworn that I didn't breathe reading the last 50 pages of the book.
    So dark
    So twisty
    So FUN
I am not a fan of dark books. I'm a hopeless romantic at heart this is out of my comfort zone ....and yet this was so *inserts a word to combine fun and scary*

Oh, did I mention this book had jaw dropping, breathtaking, flabbergasting twists?

    I didn't?
    My bad.

I'll try to write an actual helpful review when I am not in shock...will probably take time, but excuse me while I re-learn how live life normally because I'm not the same person after finishing this book.

  • Kim Rayburn

Oh. my. goodness. This has to be one of my favorite Peter Pan retellings. Granted, I haven't read that many (maybe 2-3) but this one was incredible. It's a completely different take on Peter Pan, incorporates fae, including a lot of darker elements. Definitely one I would say is higher YA/NA as there are elements of murder, loss, addiction, and even hints at characters being controlled.
However, if you want these beloved characters to be basically nothing like normally expected, go read this book! It had plot twists I didn't see coming, it had swoony scenes, and disability inclusive as there is a character that appears to have autism.
I'd say the spice rating is maybe 2/5 stars as there is some intense kissing and it does talk about hands roaming all over the body, things of that nature.

  • HEY, GOOD BOOKIN!

While this book might deserve a one-star rating, I generously added an extra star for its unrealized potential.

I slogged through 18 chapters before I threw in the towel. Wendy, our protagonist, is an insufferable martyr with all the charm of a stale Pringle.

The autism trope, intended to add depth, did nothing but detract from the storyline. It felt like the author was perched on a high horse, self-appointed as the ultimate educator on the intricacies of the autism spectrum.

Peter, on the other hand, is so immature and childish that it’s a mystery how any woman could find him attractive or desirable.

In a desperate bid to find something redeeming, I skipped to the last three chapters. Turns out, I didn’t need the other pesky 35 chapters after all—the ending neatly recaps and resolves the “whodunit.”

Needless to say, I won’t be picking up the sequel.

  • Michelle Abate

I thought that Losing Wendy was such a great start to a new series from TA Lawrence! I was immediately hooked and the story was so engaging that I finished it in a single day!

    Reasons to read:
    - exploration of deeper themes like mental health
    - morally grey and potential love interest in Captain Hook
    - twisted fairy tale
    - great storytelling
    - engaging plot
    - start of a series

Thank you to the author for an advanced copy and having me on her street team. All thoughts are my own.

  • Reghan

    Well this was whack

  • Samantha

I'm have never been into dark romance.. until I read this. This story has desire but low to no spice. Spice is subjective.. so, in my opinion, low to no means no on the page sex. Closed door, swoon, angst, desire, but no *ahem* intimate moments outside of kisses and maybe above the shirt feelings. I should also add.. I don't normally pick up a retelling, but I saw a teaser online that had me intrigued. I am so glad I picked this one up.

I devoured this treat. I found myself thinking about it every time I had to put it down. The what-ifs and theories flashing through my mind as I tried to figure it out. Meanwhile.. I was wrong every time, but I don't claim to be a mystery solver. That's one good thing about me and a mystery, I'll never solve it before the book reveals the truth. ✨️

This story was full of twists and turns. The mystery was a fascinating element that added a lot to the overall story. It was so well done that I think even someone who IS good at solving mysteries might struggle with it.

I went back and fort, asking myself if I found him to be good or bad. I must have changed my mind no less than four times. The way the book ended.. I still don't know, but I have THEORIES, okay.

The author writes each character so well. They each have their own stories that will make you feel so differently for each of them. A truly unique cast of characters.

I will absolutely be picking the next book up.

I don't normally do TW for books but I will for this: I can't say much without spoiling it, but I'll say there's a warning for past SA that's hinted at and then briefly described.

  • Hunter

DNF - prolly on me, it does say dark fantasy. But some of the dark stuff that happened didn’t make sense, it just seemed thrown in for the heck of it. It was as if the author added as much dark stuff as possible, regardless of if it made sense, to make the story darker.

    spoiler **

Wendy’s parents let men sexual abuse her to try to snare one of them into marrying Wendy… how did that make any sense to make Wendy’s mom, that did all she could to keep Wendy alive, then let her daughter get molested?!?! I read about 25% then skimmed through. But before Wendy’s parents kill themselves TO KEEP THEIR CHILDREN ALIVE, Wendy’s family was portrayed as a very loving family. John a very protective brother. Wendy and her mother’s relationship is shown as very loving and caring. It honestly just felt like one of the many things added to make it darker. It did not make any sense in the story.

Content: no swearing, no spice, but imagine every possible dark situation because it’s most likely in here. Sexual abuse (off page), Wendy fantasizing about falling down a very high ladder, rapes (off page), Wendy’s parents slice their own throats, lots of other gruesome death/acts granted I skimmed quite a bit (and look how much stuff I came across skimming!), but if there is any light in this book it is very very little, this story thrives off being dark and that’s not for me. (Not leaving a star rating though because the title does say dark, just didn’t think based off the author’s other books that it would be so glorify of the dark)

  • Kelsi

    Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
    Spice: Closed door

The story of Peter Pan and Wendy was never one of my all time favorite, I enjoyed it but there were other fairytales that gripped my attention more but when I saw T.A. Lawrence was writing a bit of a grey take on the story of Peter and Wendy… well I was hooked! I will say there are some darker themes in this book not necessarily a dark book by the usual standards but there are some dark themes in this book to be aware of such as the trauma of dealing with unwanted affection as well as a bit of a true crime mystery happening. But boy oh boy was this story absolutely amazing! Now this story is a SLOW-burn romance so if you’re coming into book one expecting lots of love that’s not this book, the romance in this book is more sub-plot but it’s definitely there, and oh so rewarding, don’t worry though because the twists and turns in the plot, the mystery, the world building will keep you guessing long into the night. And then when you inevitably stumble off that cliff at the end with your jaw on the floor (or maybe that’s just me) you’ll be begging for book two! So if you’re looking for a storm cloud grey fantasy, slow burn romance, between a morally interesting MMC, a FMC who is just trying to fine her place in the world, and a whole cast of impossible not to love lost boys, that’s filled with amazing banter, a plot that will keep you on your toes until the very end, then this book is not to be missed!

    HAPPY READING 📖

So, I realize that this is a dark fantasy retelling, however I really did not anticipate or think I had signed up for what is actually in this novel. This is like Peter Pan and Lord of the flies combined. Wendy is incredibly vague and naïve, all while being surrounded by Complete murder, chaos, and general ick. In the first eight percent of the novel, we learned that Wendy has been promised to the shadow keeper, whoever that is. As a bride? As whatever? Who the hell knows, but Wendy's parents are attempting to find her a husband before midnight. However, before that happens, some random dude pops out of the woodwork and basically tells them that they can slit their own throats or watch him kill their children. As crazy as that sounds, the fact that they actually do it is even crazier. Then Peter Pan shows up who is actually the shadow keeper and whisks them all off to Neverland. Michael is billed as autistic, which is interesting, but doesn't necessarily save us from the scene where John cuts off his own thumb to get into Neverland. Then the lost boys end up holding some sort of Lord of the flies theme going on where they start killing each other left and right. I skipped to the end and was still fully creeped out as they start describing a prison asylum in which all of the boys are raped every night.

4⭐️ Really liked it! Highly recommend.

Read this if you like a dark fantasy retelling of Peter Pan but with fated mates, fae, and murder mystery.

    📖What’s inside:
    Single POV
Cruel Peter Pan with wings and shadows
    Secrets
    Mysteries
    Dark Neverland
    Death/murder
    Dark themes throughout

✨Vibes: Peter Pan meets A Court of Thorns and Roses with a bit of Dexter TV show

💭Thoughts: this book is NOT your typical fairytale re-telling. It’s so dark from beginning to end. Dark meaning there’s elements to the story like death, drug abuse, murder, psychosis, etc. It seriously has a little bit of every dark element you can think of. I’m honestly not sure if I even liked this one. It doesn’t leave you feeling all good and happy because there’s so much darkness throughout, but I couldn’t put it down despite that. It’s like when you’re at the carnaval and you’re disgusted by the crazy things some acts perform, (like eating nails or ridiculous contortions) but you just can’t look away..? It was kind of like that. So I recognize there was some good writing. But I’m also concerned about the author’s mental state to be able to write these dark themes so well… 🙃 I don’t know, I think I’m being generous on my rating, but since I couldn’t stop reading it, I must have really like it in a twisted way. Now I’m concerned about my own mental state 😬

Ive read alot of books by alot of authors but Taylor always draws me in with her griping story telling and unique tales. This book had me hooked from the opening line. The character building is done so well you cant help but fall in love with them. The world building is descriptive painting a vivid emersive experience. The story itself is unlike any other peter pan retelling I've read before. The story is familiar in a way thats nostaligic and welcoming but unique and filled with so many twists and turns that its also new and exciting in the most unpredictable way. I felt all the emotions with this one I laughed, I cried, I got chills, I gasped, I felt shock, outrage, joy, dread, fear and everything else inbetween.

Wendys been trying to escape the shadows her whole life cursed with a fate sealed in a bargin made when she was but a child. The shadows aren't the only thing that comes for her though and shes launched into an adventure that brings more questions than it does answers. Theres mysteries to unfold at every turn and a few dark enigmatic men that of course have to be devastating handsome.

If you're after a captivating tale to suck you in and hold you captive while you escape reality for a while this is a great read and I highly recommend.

  • Kacey Doner

This book was everything and then some! I was hooked from the very beginning 😊… pun intended.
The whole book keeps you guessing and there are so many twists and turns. I should’ve known TA Lawrence would’ve turned this Peter Pan retelling into something amazing.
You don’t know who the murderer is and if you try and guess, you will be completely wrong and thrown for a loop. I was on the edge of my seat for this book the whole time. The characters are amazing and oh so interesting.
Peter Pan… I never knew I needed a Peter Pan like this one. But now I can never go back to the old Peter Pan and be satisfied. She does amazing with bringing in the original Peter Pan but adding a twist to his character and I am so glad she did. Can you bring him to my reality now, I want to be a lost girl for this Peter Pan! 🤗
Y’all have to read this book. It will keep you intrigued from the moment you start reading. I’m already wanting the next book in this series. I need to know what happens with Wendy and her two guys, Captain Astor and Peter Pan. I still have yet to figure out which one she will choose.

  • Beth DeLong

I am absolutely in LOVE with this book! 😍 Can I give it 10 stars?

I didn't realize this was going to be such a dark Peter Pan retelling, but I seriously love how dark it is. It masterfully blends psychological thriller and dark romance, and is wholly focused on plot as there's no spice.

Despite how dark it is, the author still maintains the magical vibe that comes with fairytales. Her creativity and storytelling are incredible!

Also, even with the lack of spice, I found this story incredibly seductive! The physical features of Peter and Nolan, the way they treat Wendy, the fact that even 90% through I still wasn't sure who we could trust.... something about it all just lured me in, and I'm SO excited for the next book!

There are some heavy topics in here. But if dark romance, psychological thriller, magical fairytales, beautiful writing, and multiple plot twists are your thing, I highly recommend "Losing Wendy!!"

    🙊 No cursing
    🌶 Only kissing
    🩸 Murder, not overly graphic

Thank you to the author for an early copy! I'm leaving this honest review voluntarily.

  • Kacy R

Wendy has always been promised to the darkness. Since she was a little girl her parents and siblings have been trying to avoid her fate. Some fates just can't be avoided. Some fates are better embraced. Dancing with the shadows sounds much more enticing than running from them. When the clock strikes midnight on the eve of her 20th birthday, the Shadow Master comes to whisk her away from everything she has always known and the trauma that she experienced there. What Wendy didn't expect was to be welcomed into a new family, that is being slowly murdered one by one. Solving this mystery may lead Wendy down a road she can't come back from.

I went into this book expecting a slightly grey retelling of Peter Pan. I got way more than that. Murder mystery, enemies, betrayal, found family, dark steamy shadow master. This book was enthralling. I normally predict all the twists in books but this one had so many I couldn't keep them straight. The cliffhanger is completely brutal. Wendy grow into herself in this book and I can't wait to see what happens in the next one!
