Rethinking the Red Power Movement (American Social and Political Movements of the 20th Century) Reviews

More like a 3.5, but I'm generously rounding up.
Overall I think this book has some really helpful reframings of Red Power. I'm most interested in the pre-1970s era and found that section ("First Wave") useful, but it felt like things kind of got a little unfocused in the last chapter, where the authors just transition into describing a ton of different major threads of Native activism today. At times they lean into speculation more than I would, and I often felt like I just wanted MORE. Finally, this is more of a me problem but I find it kinda wild to look at Red Power as a whole without considering the Canadian context as well. Still, as an overview it's got a lot to commend it.
