    Relevance and Relationship: While the library has a decent sized graphic novel collection, it has no bibliographical references. This reference has been very well reviewed and covers works published by the most popular comic publisher—Marvel.

    Purpose: This bibliography will allow students interested in reading and collecting all things Marvel related to gain knowledge about and find new reading material. The work is seemingly comprehensive and covers multiple types of works released from Marvel. As the title mentions, the book covers works from 1965 to 2007; however, one section of the text actually looks at even older Marvel works. The book is easy to use dividing information into sections related to characters and series.
    Validity: The work received a very favorable review from Booklist.

    Format: The work is a print reference. Bibliography sections contain two columns per page.
    Arrangement and Presentation: Entries are divided into sections. Each entry contains bibliographic information as well as plot summaries and other helpful information.

    Diversity: This title will appeal to students interested in Marvel Comics, which there is definitely diversity in the reading levels of students who enjoy comics. Some comic enthusiasts are very advanced readers and thinkers while struggling readers also enjoy comics because of their visual nature.
