Poison Ivy (2022-) #17 Reviews

lmao not janet from hr pulling both harley and ivy respectively what a queen
-
the casual drama going on in the apocalypse

The story continues. This title is consistent and I like when we get see some of the boring (read: DRAMA - looking at you Janet from HR), regular parts of Ivy's "work day" in addition to the larger plot. I don't know why I only noticed it now, but Pam's drawn more curvy and I like that body positivity. Killer Croc can be such an adorable character. It's completely at odds with his appearance and general history, but I'm enjoying him here.

This series continues to slap and blow my expectations with every issue. I love the queer romances going on (no spoilers). I hope we continue to see this dynamic flushed out. The croc fight scene is great. I love how Ivy is having such a deep character arc in this series and every issue we get to see a little deeper into her soul. If you haven't read this series yet, I will recommend it to anyone. I love this series with my heart and soul. I will be collecting every issue and trade paperback.

4 stars. Hell yes more Pamela and Croc teaming up! I love their partnership a lot, they work really well together. I really want more cute PamelaxHarley moments but Pamela's got more important shit going on right now.

It’s a team up! Good circle around to grab Croc to hang out with Poison Ivy.
