Possessive Stepbrother (Steamy Shorts, #1) Reviews

Meh. It was boring for me and just didn't get it. I'm not writing a full review because it's not worth it.
-
naughty quick read
Loved this naughty quick read. There were some sporadic things thrown in but it was still what it is labeled, a steamy short! Loved it! -
Needed a real plot
After the initial meeting of Raven his step-sister, Rowan immediately claims her. Then boom rest of the book was just s3x . It was a short read but I wanted more than just 5 chapters of bedroom or living room scenes. -
Raven is being shipped to her new stepbrother to not bother her toxic mother anymore. Rowan sees his new Stepsister Raven and is instantly obsessed with her. A short story with a little bit of plot and with a bunch of spicy scenes. Stepbrother romance, short , sweet, OTT, spicy, romantic and safe with a sweet HEA and no drama😍😍

There are definite spoilers ahead, so read at your own risk of ruining the story...or not.
Possessive Stepbrother was about Rowan Ross and Raven (no last name given).
I'm uncertain about the plot of this book, but I'll try to do the review justice. Rowan (no age given) arrived home to find a "kid" sitting in front of his door. But then he realized who it was...his new stepsister, who just so happened to be beautiful enough to steal his breath. Their relationship went from zero to sixty in less than 24 hours.
This thing was all over the place. First, there was a serial killer on the loose. Second, her mother and his father sent his stepsister...who was a college graduate mind you...to live with him, even though the two had never met, and she was an adult for crying out loud, not a teenager who needed babysitting! She also acted more like a 15-year-old kid rather than a college grad.
There were times the book was going somewhere, then it abruptly changed so that something else was happening and it was like...wait, what did I miss?! It was almost as if the author wrote one sentence, and then deleted something else, only to insert another thought process without separating or finishing either. The whole thing was just sporadic writings thrown together in hopes of making a story. What it really did was just create a huge mess for someone else to clean up.
The FMC's mother was a piece of work who needed to be shipped off the psycho land.
This was just...a total waste of my time it was so bad. I didn't want to give it even a one-star rating, but I hate not giving any. That's reserved for the worst of the worst. This was just...blah. -
Very steamy!!
Rowan is not happy about having to let his new step sister stay with him and he plans on getting rid of her ASAP. When Rowan lays his eyes on Raven, he immediately changes his mind about getting rid of her and is now figuring out how to keep her by his side forever! -
So sweet!
Raven's mother is horribly selfish and constantly uprooting Raven's life. When she is pawned off on the new stepbrother, she has never met in a town that terrifies her she is sure that it will not end well. Rowan is a lone wolf and is totally against having anyone in his space, especially some teenage girl he doesn't know. As soon as they meet, thou sparks fly, and they both realize they have found their person in each other. -
'Ella es el final del juego para mí.'

Possessive stepbrother de Lena Little serie Steamy Shorts libro 1
Argumento:
Me gustaban Rowan y Raven juntos. Hay una brecha de edad pero no se específica. Su amor a primera vista fue picante y dulce....No puedo resistir un hombre que construye la casa de sus sueños para su amada. Rowan solo quería hacer feliz a Raven y me encantó
Ese final con sus niñas fue Awww y estoy segura de que construirá el castillo para verlas felices. -
SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!
Raven goes to stay with Rowan after their parents marry. They are both attracted to each other and begin a romantic relationship. Rowan comes home one day and knows something is wrong. He sees that Raven is tied up and someone is standing over her with a knife. Who is it? Can he protect her?
I liked Raven and Rowan. Theirs is an instant attraction. They had never met before, and both are consenting adults. I liked the epilogues. The middle of the story is so full of plot holes and typos. Until the serial killer is standing over Raven with a knife, no mention is made of him past the first few pages. How did he get in? Then in all of this, Raven's mother turns up and starts yelling at her for hugging Rowan after being saved from a serial killer? Then Raven dumps a load of garbage on her mother for the past? And Rowan's dad just removes Raven's mother from the apartment? No questions about the guy tied up on the floor? Then you have the last chapter where there is a mention of the serial killer's trial and conviction. Also, there is apparently a bill sent to Raven by her mother for what was spent on Raven while growing up? Did she pay it? Who does that sort of thing?
I know this is a short story but you cannot have a serial killer, mother issues, and lust inside of two days. Something gets dropped. These were good lead characters. Too bad the story did not match them. -
Fucking universe playing its dirty tricks on me. The first woman who ever made me feel this way is her, and of course, she’s not some random stranger. She has to be my stepsister. That revelation shouldn’t feel like a sharp blade slicing my chest.——Rowan
Very quick read sweet story.
I love the chemistry between H and h. They had feelings to each other at their first sight. The chemistry was super hot. Their eye-fucking was super erotic and intense, which made me feel they don’t even need to have sex.🤪
I whirl to face him and find his forehead still creased. “You need to stop doing that if you don’t want to have premature wrinkles”
Without thinking, I chuckle and reach out to smooth his forehead. His fingers fly to my wrist, holding it. Oh god.
We both stand in suspended animation, staring into each other’s eyes, the only sound is our heavy breathing. I’m not sure if he can hear, but my heart is beating wildly in my chest.
He sucks in a sharp breath as his fingers brush my forearm, my elbow, and rest on my upper arm. My cheeks are warm, my nerve endings crackling with sparks.——Raven
See? The eye-fucking plot was even super hot!
Definitely SAFETY read. The plot was easily to guess and WAY TOOOO SHORT but still was a very happy read. ♥️ -
Was originally going to give this two stars, but the extra epilogue at the end got me, it was adorable. Honestly, I felt like Little didn't delve into the forbidden aspect of stepsiblings falling in love. A lot of lost potential with that one. Overall I felt like this one was too short, and could have benefited from a couple dozen more pages.

Time
I get this was a "short" book but would it have killed the author to add a time stamp? On top of that, there was no mention of their ages! Plus the blurb made it seem like they didn't get along. What about what happened with her mom? What about his dad? What was his thoughts? Then to make matters worse, same of the dialogue was a bit corny. Wouldn't recommend. On to the next. -
Love shorts & Stepbrother romances
This short is super steamy and I love the characters right from the start. Rowan is strong, smart, and loves to work with his hands. When Raven shows up at his door he can't take his eyes off her. She is nothing like he remembers and he wants to claim her and make her dreams come true. Their story is spicy, sweet, and very sexy. Happy Reading!!! -
“making magic” - that was sweet💖
Rowan: “I’ll demolish you later, but I can’t promise I won’t strip you naked with my eyes the entire time we’re at the party.”… and I’ve melted 🫠🫠🫠
🫤 I think the serial killer part is absolutely pointless!!!
Certain people (like her “mother”) should have their tongues ripped out, jaws wired shut, and fingers broken; especially when the spew vile things in one form or another to or about someone they’re supposed to take care of & love❣️ -
Just what you needed
I could not believe her mother’s reaction! I was shocked like I expected her to understand her daughter’s pain. I don’t know why I guess I expected a different reaction from the mother and his dad. I guess it makes sense why they are together they are of like-minded. -
Very good
I enjoyed this book. Rowan and Raven. What a pair. She is dropped on his doorstep and he's mad about it. Then raven sees something she shouldn't and she's on a mission to find out what Rowan truly wants. Unfortunately there is a serial killer running around that could screw everything up. -
Rowen & Raven are steamy
These two are on fire! While being a short story, it's definitely filled to the brim with heat! Raven is so upset that her mother has dumped her on her new stepbrother's doorstep. Rowen wasn't very happy about it either until he sees her. I enjoyed this so much. -
Just Love
What a beautiful, albeit, unconventional relationship that forms between step siblings. There was always a healthy attraction and it morphed into true love! I loved the steamy scenes and the final acceptance for who their parents are. Look forward to more of these! -
Not the extreme level of taboo, both characters (Rowan and Raven) are adults and have never met before. Their parents only recently married. There's a slight forced proximity trope but mostly it's an instalove. Their parents are awful people, I'm glad some things were said but I wish Rowan had said something. Overall, it was good.

Just not for me.
I started this because I heard there was a librarian book later in the series, plus it’s a quick fix. I enjoy reading novellas/shorts a lot, but this wasn’t it.
This just wasn’t vibing. While it was easy to read, it just didn’t stay with me at all. The writing wasn’t appealing and the possessiveness was a bit much.
