Stacey Speaks Up Reviews

Stacey's Remarkable Books, Stacey’s Extraordinary Words and Stacey Speaks Up are the firsts three books in the “Stacey Storys” series, authored by Stacey Abrams. All are based on stories from Abram’s childhood. These children’s picture books are perfect stories to share with an adult reader. All are very relatable for young children.

Each book tackles subjects familiar to young children such as self-confidence, helping a friend, making new friends, sharing, and empathy and the joy of reading. All 3 books are positive, easily read and educational. Beautiful and colorful diverse illustrations by artist Kitt Thomas add to the quality of the book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

a great model on how to 'speak up' and advocate for vulnerable members of your community. That Abrams chooses a common issue--hunger in the lunch room--is a gorgeous move. I hope this picture book not only incites empathy, but inspires local activism.

    5 stars (I loved it)

    This was great!

I love the illustrations but the story is just amazing. It shows kids how to be helpers. How to speak up, even when you are afraid. It shows that kids can make a difference in the world. What a wonderful message to share.
