In this book you will find fifty terrific new ten-minute plays, all successfully produced during the 2011-2012 theatrical season. They are written in a variety of styles, some realistic, some are not, some comic, some are dramatic. The ten-minute play form lends itself well to experimentation in style. Also included, for the first time, a comprehensive list of theaters which do ten-minute plays.

The Best Ten-Minute Plays 2012 Reviews
-
Fifty ten-minute plays with a great range in topic, theme, and tone. Some didn't work for me, and the text also had a number of typos, but on the whole I thought it was one of the more interesting and engaging collections of short scripts that I've read so far, with some excellent standouts.
My top ten:
Skull (Less Three and Twenty) by Jason Gray Platt
Minimalistic Men by Spenser Davis
Storms, Sheets, and Showtunes by Stacey Lane
A Walk in the Park by Aren Haun
Credit Check by Eddie Zipperer
Italy by Steven Schutzman
Bedtime Story by Christopher Lockheardt
Iceberg to Nowhere by Samantha Macher
Duo by Tom Moran
Misfortune by Mark Harvey -
A great diversity of style, content, subject here.
