My boyfriend left for work and never came back.
Now I have to write an article about the billionaire prick.

I thought it would be easy.
But I keep remembering how he used to moan my name.

And dammit if he wasn’t even hotter now than he was before.
The way his shirt stretches over his shoulders makes my breath catch.

It’s a little uncomfortable.
But girl, I got this.

Besides, I’ve been keeping something a secret.

Or should I say…some one .

Mr. CEO's Secret Baby (Billionaire Keepers) Reviews

I got as far as 10% and just couldn't take it anymore and skimmed the rest. Why do people who write this stuff market it as a "romance" when it is anything but? Can we finally be done with the dead ex & 2nd chance trope nonsense already?

  • Debbie DiFiore

I wish I had read Frankies review first to save me from the bitterness of this read. He was a complete jerk. And he is still in love with his perfect ex wife. I just could not get over his actions. I can't believe the heroine did. He gave her NOTHING and I mean nothing. He might have been a sperm donor but that is it. He never loved her, barely remembered her and is a total loser. This was not romance to me.

I don’t think I have ever wanted to like a book more than this book. The MMC was a total dickhead. He NEVER loved Maya. He just didn’t date her, but they lived together and shared a life! He just decided what they had didn’t satisfy him and left her with only 6 words and refused to take her calls. In the seven year separation she had his child , he fell in love with a woman named Ava that he can’t get over and to top that off he compares what Ava wouldn’t do to him( not tell him he has a child with the woman he abandoned ), but Maya did. Now, you would think he was a kid when he abandoned Maya, no he was twenty-five, young but not 17. He got offered a job in California and he claims he didn’t want to make her choose between him and her family. He traveled to where they lived over the seven years and not once called to check on the woman you dated through college and lived with for years. Now, on to the Maya she was too weak ! She kept apologizing for not telling him about their son. Bitch, you called him and he wouldn’t pick up. You asked him to explain in texts and he wouldn’t answer!! She would have forgiven him for fucking anything.
He had the audacity to be really angry about not knowing about his son. So, he left his girlfriend pregnant, became a billionaire, married and buried a wife all in 7 years .This wasn’t a cheating book, but it has made me angrier than ever. One minute he regret leaving her and then he tells her he doesn’t regret it because he met and loved Ava. Imma stop ranting!!!

I am a huge lover of Aimees books. With that said this one wasn't for me. Being on the opposite side of things and being involved leaves a bad taste in my mouth and mind when it comes to hiding a child from the parent. I tried my absolute best to not be biased and get my feelings all involved. I failed gloriously. This is just a subject I can't not have immense feelings about.

Two wrongs don't make a right, and it's not all about the parents and their feelings. When children are involved it's no longer about them in such a massive way that this book conveys.

I received a complimentary copy via the author and Booksprout. All opinions are my own, honest and voluntary.

This is book three of this series, told in dual first person POV and leaves you with a HEA. Even though this is book three, it can be read as a standalone and is very enjoyable.

I love that Maya and Jack got to have their second chance. I love the way their paths crossed again and how they couldn’t resist each other. I love that when the secret was out, Maya did the right thing and was able to have a friend to lean on and help both her and Jack with their feelings. I love the way she stood beside Jack and didn’t give up on him when he was having some troubles.

I have enjoyed every book that has been written by Amiee Bronson so far and I’m so excited for the next adventure she has for us.

Ohh how I adore when a new book comes out from Aimee!!

Y'all are in for a treat with Maya and Jack. There is so much history, good, bad, and in between. We are pushed right into the fire learning of the last day Maya and Jack spent together 7 years ago. It was a harsh wake up call for Maya, while Jack moved onto better phases in his life.

We are thrown into their reintroduction when Maya, as a accomplished writer, is tasked with interviewing Top Millionaire and Eligible bachelor Jack. They are both thrown off guard having so many years gone between them meeting.

You really feel the heartbreak for Jack, having lost his wife 2 years ago. I think one of my favorite things of Jack is how he in touch with his feelings. He isn't a shell of pain and grief. He has learned to at least let some of that out.

Jack and Maya's reunion goes better than he can imagine. She has breathed life back into him after so many years of floating along after his tragic accident took his wife. He is all set to move on when he stops by Maya, and see the miniature version of himself.

There is a lot of hurt and anger for both, but they do the best to keep it together to be present for their son, Eli. Eli is a great mix of the two of them. There is a great back catalogue of supporting friends and family that are fantastic.

This book gives you SO many feels. You can feel the hurt, anger, heartbreak, hope, and love. It's not easy, and let's face it....life never is! Its funny something as small as a button can bring hope into your life. You need to give yourself the happy break you need and read this...Today!!!.

Awesome story it brought me to tears in a sad and good way. Must read it was a page turner and the suspense was addicted. I was at the edge of my seat and I couldn't put it down. Maya and Jack used to be college sweetheart along time ago. They were in love with each other and they were hot and heavy. They both wanted different things in life. Years passed by for these two Maya was a journalist and Jack was a Billionaire CEO of a top company. A car accident took Jack one truly love away from him it was his late wife Ava. Jack was so sad and lonely he working will keep him busy. They found each once again after all these years. They talked things started to happen between again. One steamy night of hot passionate sex and was so good. The chemistry and attraction was physical tension going on between them that night. But she knew that she support from her family and other people she can count on. But she try to keep this a secret but she was getting tired and he need to know the truth about his child that she carried for 9 months. I loved this book so much from author she always out did herself in every book. I can't wait for the next book to come from this author in the future.

    I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK!! It has been awhile since an author has surprised me in their writing style...this book definitely 5+ stars. Story flowed really well, the steamy chemistry, the plot, twists and surprises will keep you reading late in the night...my opinion...loved Maya's character you felt her struggles, a single mom, being a strong career woman...I will honestly say, Jack's character, I understood his pain, but also did wanted to slap sense into him at times....( note.. I was taking a shot of bourbon...maybe should have sipped some wine...bourbon is my fiesty drink). I really... REALLY..🤦..struggled attempting to "tolerate and like" Jack's character. Aimee's writing is really amazing... even though...I am STILL divided on Jack...(Thank God😜) he isn't my son-in -law...I really did enjoy this book...

I received this book as an ARC for free and leaving my review voluntarily

4.4⭐️ Vulnerable, flawed hero gets a 2nd Chance with Distrusting Ex

Aimee Bronson always gives us some great spicy scenes & this story does not disappoint. The love story here is the most genuine one I’ve read in a while. Both MCs have a lot of baggage & it makes them have a hard time trusting the other person. They go back & forth between extreme emotions, which got a bit frustrating after a while, especially when I thought that they’d come to terms with their feelings about something & then would do something completely opposite. I guess that’s how real people are, too. 🤷🏼‍♀️. If you want an escape from your own frustrating romance, this will not give it to you. Even though these were not my favorite couple due to the wishy-washy back & forth, I was happy they finally get a HEA.

Can They Make It Work Again?

Jack and Maya dated in college when one day he just left without any communication. When she finds out she is pregnant she decides to be a single mother as Jack seems to have vanished from her life. Years later they meet again through work obligations. Their story takes the reader through many emotional changes which will have you wondering if they will ever have a happy ending. They are both definitely at fault for their decisions and even though it took so much time, at least they addressed their faults.

I was drawn in instantly by this book, I liked Maya immediately as I felt for her when Jack ghosted her. She is one strong independent female.

They both meet at college but after a phone call, Jack ghosts get. She later finds out she is pregnant. When they meet again seven years later, for an interview that soon develops into a relationship.

But when Jack finds out about his child, he is not very happy. Jack do emphasise with Maya though as you would worry if Jack would ghost her again. Will this and other dilemmas stand in the way of a HEA?

I found the story flowed well, I enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading more from Aimee.

The author has given us a nice story with great characters Jack and Maya. They already have a history together that started when they were students and in love. But everything changed when Jack just left, not knowing that when he reappears after 7 years, not only did Maya leave behind but also the baby she was carrying. Once he finds out he has a son, they must navigate together to be parents to their son together. A beautiful and emotional story.

This is the third book in this series, and this is Jack and Maya’s story. These two dated in college, until Jack left for work one day and never returned. Maya is a single mom, who is assigned to write an article on billionaire Jack.
This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with secrets, regrets, romance, second chances, and love, which leads to an unpredictable, tragic, entertaining, and steamy addictive page turner.

This was book 3 in this series.
I've always loved everything Aimee writes and this was no different.
This was Maya and Jack's story.
I loved Maya and my heart hurt for her. She was such a strong character to pick up the situation and carry on.
Jack was very possessive once he found her again. Will he find out the secret she has? What will happen? Can these two really have another chance at love?
An emotional roller coaster, drama, secrets, pain, love, family and hot spice. Very entertaining and highly recommend.

Maya and Jack were in love back in college but he left, ghosting her. She ran into him 7 years later and had to write a story about him. The attraction was still there and they acted on it. However, there are secrets that could cause major problems with their relationship. Will they be able to work through their problems or will the secrets from the past spell the end of their love? I highly recommend this book to all romance readers.

Jack and Maya went to college together and had a great relationship. Things seemed to be going really good but one day Jack just disappeared. Maya found out she was pregnant and had to raise the baby all alone. Years later Maya is assigned to write an article about Jack. As you can imagined she is angry, hurt and frustrated but she knows that doing a good job on this article can really help her career. Now Jack has his own issues that he has to work through since he just lost his wife. Can these two work through their issues for a happily ever after together?

    Boring and disconnected.

The plot sounded good and the other reviews sounded positive, but I didn’t enjoy this book.
There was little depth and character development, it was like a book of disjointed scenes with little in between. I couldn’t connect and the emotions were scarce and not realistic.
I skimmed over the last 15% of the book, scanning quickly to see if anything interesting would slow me down to read a page, nothing did.
This book wasn’t for me, and should have been at a much lower price point for the quality.
