In The Global Citizen, Donella Meadows challenges us to view the world as an interconnected system for which we are all responsible. This collection of the best of Meadows's environmental writings demonstrates her rare ability to discuss complex issues such as population, poverty and development, and solid waste disposal in a clear, concise, engaging way for a wide audience.
The Global Citizen Reviews
-
Started, but didn't finish.
Juicy beginning, with great systems frameworks for daily writing.
But then became a bunch of bad takes on degrowth, nuclear, and the like. Only made it 30% in. -
This book was interesting, up to a point. After a while, the columns felt repetitive, even when new and/or updated information was presented.

I thought it was an amazing book about environment. Although the statistics were dated. A lot of the articles were relevant and thought provoking. I would recommend anyone who enjoys environmental science as well as economics to digest this piece in full.
