Knight Terrors: Wonder Woman (2023) #2 Reviews

Decent story and nice visuals in the conclusion.
As I said in the previous issue, this is listed as a Wonder Woman comic but it's really a Justice League Dark comic. I love the JLD but if you're not a fan of DC Mystic, your mileage may vary.
When we left them, everyone had seemingly succumbed to their nightmares. But of course, Diana fights through and beats her fears back, then gives a rallying speech to the rest of the group that allows them to dig deep and (basically) wake up.
Like everyone else on Earth, when they walk up they realize that Insomnia has run amok in search of the Nightmare Stone, and they'll have to fight nightmares in the real world.
This issue includes the conclusion for Nubia in Well of Horrors part 2. To be honest, it was a bit lackluster. Not good, not terrible.
So I wasn't really in love with it but whatever. The worst thing I can say is that it didn't make much of an impression on me.
Knight Terrors #4 should be the conclusion to all of this, but it was fun seeing the JLD again. This one made me want to pick that series up again. -
Unfortunately, unlike many of the other stories in this "event" issue #2 of the Wonder Woman story was terrible - I'm not even sure the same person wrote both issues. Issue #1 of this story was so good and entertaining. This issue #2 was terrible (both the main and backup story) we go suddenly from a Justice League Dark story to some weird Wonder Woman story where Diana learns to something something about fear. I am sure Wonder Woman in all these decades of storytelling has never come to terms with fear (that is sarcasm folks). Of all these stories this one really should not have been two issues. So disappointed. I'm not even with the backup story.

A fun finish to WW's side of the KT saga!
I really enjoyed the points raised in this one. Some really deep moments here and WW handled them with poise and grace. Really enjoyed the way it played out.
Plus, we get a little more story beyond the nightmare realm which was good - it's nice to feel like the plot is progressing a little even with these one shots.
Artwork was great; some really cool panels here.
Happy with the WW contribution to the story! -
I’m a sucker for good writing and this is very well written. Don’t listen to the negative reviews because the Wonder Woman part of this arc has been great.

Man... Wonder Woman could motivate me to run through a brick wall. Also, this made me appreciate Dark Metal where we actually get to see her evil side come out.
P.S.- why is Bobo in this comic?? like I literally forgot he was here. -
I really really liked Wonder Woman’s side story. I loved seeing Constantine. He’s such an interesting character to me and I have to read more about him lol.
Wonder Woman’s speeches and fight back was so well written and had me hooked.
Overall, I really liked her side story! -
Phenomenal issue
Best of luck to all the nightmares of DC comics are now in the Mortal realm.
Phenomenal artwork and writing. Read this issue -
3.5

I just couldn't get into this one. The Nubia extra was dull, and the art wasn't my favourite.

2.5, again it was eh. Fighting scenes were too fast and the art was like really good on one page and halfed on the next. I couldn't get into it. Probably the worst of the Knight Terrors series.

Knight Terrors: Wonder Woman #1-2 Review
While I wish they would get Wonder Woman's origin straight in this continuity (seriously, in one book she's a demi-god, in another book she's born of clay), this book does a great job examining her fears of her origins and who she might become because of those origins. The conclusion she comes to in this book really nails her character to, that the struggle she faces is what makes her human. The inclusion of Justice League Dark was just a nice icing on top of a neat Wonder Woman story. The other significant fear that was showcase was John Constantine's fear of abandonment from the rest of the team. Despite being more JLD centric in the beginning issue, I really enjoyed the miniseries overall by the end.
