Blue-Collar Boys: Repairs & Maintenance includes THREE (3) contemporary erotic romance stories, offering blissful tales of hands-on maintenance with irresistibly seductive servicemen (+18 years only, explicit and graphic sexual content):

Camper - When Audrey quits her job and separates from her husband, she never expects to move out into the country and impulsively buy an old farm house with her entire life savings. And she certainly never expects to remodel the house into a romantic bed and breakfast for couples, despite the fact that Audrey knows she'll never love or be loved again. And she certainly never expects to meet a young, deaf electrician with whom she will engage in the most electrifying sex of her life.
Shane - Angela is a hip, fashionable, and hopelessly single woman whose sex life is as quiet as her beloved dishwasher. Angela's boring routine soon turns adventurous when her precious appliance breaks and her new dishwasher is delivered by a former college flame, Shane, who will show Angela there's more to enjoy about her new dishwasher than just the way it clean dishes.
Bruno - Lydia is an agoraphobic who almost never goes out of her house. Instead, she spends most of her days, working on the computer and daydreaming out the window at the beautiful oak tree in her neighbor's adjacent yard. But when Lydia meets Bruno, the fearless tree pruner who enjoys the thrill of heights-and the thrill of pursuing Lydia even more--she soon learns the merits of leaving her house, especially within the arms of an adventurous, charming companion.

Repairs \u0026 Maintenance Reviews

  • Melissa Levine

All three of these stories led me to one conclusion, this was the authors first time writing about sexually related stuff. It had to have been. They were just too stupid, cheesy, bland, IDK.

The Camper and Shane stories, the author didn't really make many changes. Both main characters are blah looking but with good jobs. Both wear 'look at me' type clothes, Audrey with her bold/bright colors and Angela with her stupid glasses, patterned pants and poet shirts. Both also basically live off tv dinners and don't hang out with anyone. Both run into past flames/crushes, 5 years later. Both are still in love with them.

    Camper:

This was a boring story for me. Nothing new here. SSDD. I wasn't a fan at all with the way the story started off. Yeah it was a short story, but it's like it was on fast forward. I felt like this was maybe in a short story series or something and I missed the first one.

Based off my comments and all below, it was easy to see that Audrey wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. She at least had no common sense whatsoever. One thing the author left out...at least I didn't read about it, was Audrey's description. What did she look like? Camper? He was Camper. Not much could really be said about him.

    Questions/Comments:

How did Camper get too big for homeschooling and have to attend public school? Not sure if the author just doesn't know the rules for homeschooling or not, but it's not possible to be 'too big' to be home-schooled.

Audrey is trying to hang some tangled Christmas lights up. Common sense would tell you to untangled them prior to climbing a tall ladder and try to do it then.

This goes along with the above comment, but why was she hanging them on a maple tree? I just can't imagine that working out to well, considering the branches are really long and spread out.

Audrey ends up waking up because of a noise/lights from outside. Again common sense would tell you that if you see your electricians truck outside, the one you're crushing on, you'd go down and check it out. Does she? Nope, she just hops back into bed.

What the hell was Camper was doing on her roof? I'm pretty sure she had a front door.

"...as he muttered his first-and only-inaudible word to her." Yet, we have no clue what it was...
    --------------------------------------------------

    Shane:

What exactly was this? It was shorter than the first one, yet moved slower..probably because the story only had one real scene. Either way, this was just a weird story, in my opinion.

If she washes her dishes every night, how does she end up with glasses and silverware with dirty tips (plural)?

So her dishwasher breaks and she's able to get a new one basically a few hours later? Right. Why didn't she unload it first too?

After 5 years, what made Angela look Shane up?

I got a little confused with their first make out session. Her dishwasher is leaking soap on the floor, so Shane put suds on her and then rinses them off with the faucet hose? He aims it at her crotch and all too? Sorry, but I think the fact he was spraying water all over the kitchen, that would have ruined my happy feelings. Just thinking about cleaning up the mess.
    ----------------------------------------------------

    Bruno:

This story was a joke. The author wants us to believe she has agoraphobia and so traumatized that she can't leave her house. Yet, 2 days after meeting Bruno, she's climbing out her window? Having sex with him? Sure sure.

    Questions/Comments:

The last time Lydia had gone out (at the beginning of the story) have been only 2 weeks. Yet, "a bruising comment like that would have forced Lydia to cower back into her house, paralyzed for weeks under the crushing weight of self-loathing and humiliation." That sounds pretty doubtful, Mrs. Author. Especially after he had commented about her pj's the day before. Even more likely because, "This time, she discerned the flirtatious tease in Bruno's voice." So that scene doesn't make sense. She would have been more upset, the second time he comments? Not the first? Try again.

"As an agoraphobic who rarely left house, her clothing options were less than scintillating." Seriously? Considering she works on her computer, why wouldn't she be buying more clothes online? No sense.

In a tree, sucking her toes?

They're lying on the ground and Bruno's mouth, "whispered across the inner softness of her thighs" or "...she felt hot breath exhale between her legs." Really? When she's wearing sweat pants?

Hot imagination from this author. Talk about having a quickie. Just getting into the stories & bam they are finished. In some of the cases this was irritating, I wanted the dream to keep going. I like short stories, they get to the point quite quickly, but when they wind you up & then just disappear to then bring you into another tale, sometimes leaves you a bit flat.

But over all very enjoyable tales that get you going a bit more than the usual.

This book has three sexy short stories that leave you wanting more. I LOVED the first story more than the other three simply because here lately I seem to have a thing for deaf hot guys. I loved how Audrey felt about Camper and how things turned out. I obviously wish there were more to their story but I'm happy with what I got at any rate.

This was several very short stories of erotic nature. No building of characters in any of them. If you like stories of just sex this is the one for you. Personaly I like a little character with the story. This is just like watching porn.

Short stories with every woman's dream of a blue-collar man. Well written, fast paced and easy flow. Good characters and excellent storylines.
