Risking Fate is the 4th book in wonderful series that Jenn Foor keeps getting better and better with every book. This is the second book in the beautiful love story of Ty and Miranda. She did not disappoint. I laughed, cried, yelled at my Kindle and wouldn't have wanted in any other way. Character development was great as always and even though I loved them before she just made me love them more. Ty and Miranda's marriage gets put to the test in this book and you feel their ups and downs through the whole book. Added bonus as always is that you never lose the rest of family in the books and it is probably my favorite part. A must read in the Mitchell Family series.

It is hurting my heart to say this but Risking Fate is the BEST in the series so far. I feel like I am cheating on Colt by saying that but I had to!! Risking Fate is all about Miranda and Ty but I did get my little taste of Colt in it also ;)

So much drama happens in this story and I know you are thinking that, yes, every one of Jenn's books has drama but I am serious when I say the drama in this one will rip your heart out and shread it into pieces!!! But don't worry, she still left enough room between the drama for the steamy sex scenes :)

Miranda and Ty go through MORE than the average couple and when I say more, I am not talking about just fighting over who is on top(sounds like a Ty and Miranda kind of fight). Serious shit goes on!! The story starts off with Ty getting one of the things he has been wanting for a while...Miranda pregnant! Then life is good...Ty has a great family and another one on the way. Until they run into an unexpected person from Miranda's past :(

This is where the shit hits the fan and decisions have to be made. Will Ty and Miranda's love get them through it all?? Hell yeah, it will!! I laughed(mostly at Ty), I cried(a lot) and I loved the steamy scenes. Also, for all you Conner fans, this story sets him up for his book that I am sure will be a great one.

I would love to go into more detail but I don't do spoilers and if I said much more I would spill it all!! BUY it and READ it people and I PROMISE you will not be disappointed :)

You know when you read a book series and sometimes the first book in the particular series is always the best and the rest don't seem up to par? Completely not the case. I don't know how Jenn does it but they get better and better as the series evolves. She makes you fall in love with each and every character and make you feel like you are a part of their family. Sound strange? It shouldn't. When reading Risking Fate I felt like I was like a bystander standing there and watching every scene play out. I'm always rooting and falling in love with them all over again. There are so many layers to this book. I laughed and I cried and my heart broke right along with all of these characters. I can't ever imagine not having a Mitchell Family book to read. If you have not ever read the first book in the series, Letting Go, what are you waiting for? The Mitchell family series get better and better as the series goes on! Take the plunge, fall in love with all of the characters in the series and become a part of the Mitchell Family!

This book had me go through every single emotion in the english dictionary!! Wow, what a read and I am exhausted after staying up until four this morning because I just couldn't put the book down!
I love the Mitchell family, even though they seem to be a family that goes through extra drama then most! This is the fourth book, and it is a continuation of Ty and Miranda's story. Ty has totally redeemed himself in my eyes, and I love how he has gone from a playboy slut to a dedicated husband and father. He loves his wife and little Izzy so much that it is almost sickening!!! I love it though, and it totally melts my heart when he talks about how much his worships his "two girls." This story brings us Miranda and Ty finding out that they are going to be parents again. Of course Ty is through the roof estatic, and when he finds out she is having twins he becomes extremely happy. Let us not forget the fact that he has to go around and brag to everyone how his "super sperm" is so strong that he made two babies with it not just one!!! Of course, the smooth happy road can only last so long in the Mitchell family; and the mood of the story takes a turn when Miranda bumps into someone from her past who is going to stir up trouble. Seeing Ty react to his wife and daughter's happiness being threatened, was unbelievable. He was unconsolable and that is when the depth of his love for his family is truly revealed. My heart was breaking right along with his, and his desperation to make everything better was amazing. There was no limit to what Ty would do to make sure his wife and daughter would not be hurt by anyone. This situation very quickly spirals out of control and different things happen, and lies are told to protect Miranda from becoming to upset. Unfortunately, when the lies are found out devastation quickly follows and things blow even more out of control. This book has no shortage of drama and gut wrenching emotion. There are times I cried, got angry, frustrated, and even times where I laughed. The sex in this book is once again hot and steamy! Miranda and Ty have unbelievable chemistry that is off the charts, and it is a pleasant addition to a very emotional book.
If you haven't become aquainted with the Mitchell family, and you love books that take you on a journey of all kinds of emotions, then you don't want to miss out on this dynamic family! They truly are wonderful and at the end of the day, they all look out for one another and the love is just so deep. The Mitchell family has loyalty that keep this family tight together, and they are just so fun to read about! Next up is Connor and Amy's story and I can hardly wait to see what is in store for these two.

GRAB YOUR TISSUE BOX TO READ THIS ONE! What an emotional roller coaster. I was crying, I wanted to scream and I was laughing *Ty is extremely funny) thru out this whole book.

Ty and Miranda are madly in love with each other and having everything that a marry couple could want...a beautiful little girl, a baby on the way, family, love, trust, and just true happiness. Then things just start going to HELL and I mean HELL. Will Ty and Miranda get there perfect life back? Can there love for each other survive or will it be destroyed?

Jenn Foor this story was a truly touching book and I couldn't even imagine what emotions you went thru writing it....Thank You <3

Another ammmmazzzing book to add to the Mitchell Family Series! I just cannot get enough of the family. =) Colt is my book boyfriend of the family, but I can't help but feel like Ty is pushing him out of the way. Ok---he is not, but man Ty is soooo sexy and I LOVE his funny--cocky sense of humor! I JUST LOVE Ty and Miranda!! Miranda is one of my favorite chicks in this series! They are such the cutest couple and I can strongly and truthfully feel the love that Ty and Miranda have for one another! It makes me jealous!! lol I was so excited for the situation in this book. I felt it was full of drama--don't get me wrong, but it was a way to prove their love for one another was TRUE!

I cannot help but LOVE the Mitchell Family even more. I Love--LOVE--LOVED how we did not lose the rest of the family in this book, bc Colt, Van, & Conner were still part of the story!

I am SOOO excited to read about Conner. I didn't care for him at first, but I felt he proved himself as a worthy guy in this book. Cannot see what unfolds for him and Amy.....

I will say it again--The Mitchell Family Series are one of my favorite book series of all times!

If you have not read the first 3 books--STOP and go read them and then read this one, because they are worth every second and the many hours of losing sleep I endured! =)

  • Cristin

4.5 Stars. I am a total Colt fan, but this book made me love Ty. I also love the family dynamic....all families should be this solid. Another great book in this series that has me completely hooked

  • Jessica

She never let out one single laugh in regards to my sarcasm. "You truly are a sick man.'
"And you truly are the best thing that ever happened to me."

If you had said that I would have fallen in love with a cheater character, I would have laughed in your face and told you YEAH RIGHT! I HIGHLY dislike cheaters/cheater characters. Which is why I am VERY surprised with myself that I love Ty SO VERY MUCH! I don't know why. I can barely explain it to myself. But he tugged at my heart from the very beginning. I just felt something for him. Maybe because I just knew that Savannah was not meant for him and his love was right around the corner. Literally, underneath his nose and just a knock away.

He kissed me one more time, holding his lips pressed against me. When he pulled away, leaving me panting, he smiled and grabbed my hand. "Miranda, you are alwys worth the wait."

I was PUTTY when Ty was with his daughter Izzy. I think, no I know, that is the main reason why I love Ty so much. A man with his daughter is one of the most beautiful things in this world. I am not a Daddy's Little Girl but I KNOW my dad would move Heaven and Earth to make his little girl happy. And that is exactly what Ty does for his daughter. He too becomes putty when he is with his daughter. She is his light, his reason for living and his heart.

There's a scene in the book where Ty is sitting outside on the porch with Izzy that I really love. I would like very much to quote the whole scene but A. it's too much and B. you should really read it yourself to feel the intense love he has for his child.

    "Daddy, what's wrong with you?"
    "Nothing's wrong."
    "You're sad today."
"Daddy just loves you so much, that's all. I just love you so much."
...She was my baby, my little girl. I helped bring her into the world. I kept her safe and loved her unconditionally...I changed her diapers, I spent hours talking to her through a computer screen...I taught her how to get dressed, how to eat French fries, how to brush her teeth, how to pray and how to sing...None of that had anything on what she had taught me. Izzy had taught me what the real meaning of love was. She had given me this life I was living.

I was provided an ARC by the Author Jenn Foor

This book is AMAZING!!!!! Full Review to come once book has been released.

THIS BOOK IS OUT NOW!!!!! Run and get your copy today, you won't be sorry :)

Risking Fate is the FOURTH installment in the Mitchell Family series by Jenn Foor. This book was AMAZING!!! Jenn totally out did herself with this book. I had so many different emotions going through me. One minute I was laughing, next I was angry, and then finally I was crying so hard I had to take a break to compose myself. I absolutely LOVE when a book can make me feel so many different things. To me that is was makes an AMAZING AUTHOR. Jenn is one of my favorite authors, I know whatever she writes she will not disappoint. Her books are A MUST READ!!!!!!

Ty and Miranda had won me over in the 2nd book (Folding Hearts), but this book just cinched the bond that I have for these characters. This was a story about the true test of faith and love. I don't want to say to much because I don't want to give anything away. This book will have you sitting on the edge of your seat and turning the pages just to see what happens next. I read this book in one day, I just couldn't put it down until I found out everything that happened.

Like I said I was not disappointed in this book at all. There is absolutely NOTHING I would change. It was also nice catching up with everyone else in the Mitchell Family.

I can't wait for book #5 Wanting More ( Conner's Story ). I can't wait to see the kind of trouble Conner is going to stir up.

So finally all I want to say is don't walk...RUN and get your copy of Risking Fate...you won't be sorry :)

    4.5 Stars!

Again, here I am giving another high rating for this series. And here I am saying again that I f*cking love Ty. That man is super-dad-husband (*hint, hint* hubby) with chocolate sauce and whip cream on top. I didn't care too much for the skank flashback, as I like to call a particular amount of scenes, but Ty and Conner relationship make it bearable. Speaking of Conner, I can't wait to read his book. So please Jennifer, make his book soon please and just as good or even better than the rest.

    Definitely give this a read.

3.5 stars. This is for you Angela:

How can I accurately describe this fourth installment of the Mitchell Family? I've pondered this and my best description of this one is like visiting the 80's and early 90's daytime tv and nighttime serials. Do you remember Dynasty, Falcon Crest, Dallas? And let's not forget Days of Our Lives, Guiding Light and As the World Turns! This is a mix of them all with a southern feel. It was DRAMA packed, shocking events and torrid love affairs abound. Sometimes almost too much, but still entertaining.

  • Sam

Loved this book, as with the others in the series there is drama and all the Mitchell family which we have all come to love! I think this may have been the best in the series and it just keeps getting better and better! I loved Ty Mitchell's character and his humour but felt annoyed at Miranda since she was constantly waiting on Ty to cheat and go back to his partying ways even though he had never gave her any indication of this. A must read!

  • Lindsay

I love this series! The only part I could do without is how it's constantly mentioned how much Ty has changes and how perfect he and Miranda are for each other. And every time they are with Van and Colt the same thing gets brought up again about them being so in love and so perfect. I read the first 2 books about how their relationship started so I don't need to keep hearing it over and over again. But besides that stuff the books are really good.

  • Daisy

I cried I laughed and cried some more. I enjoyed reading more of Ty and Miranda's story. The things Ty says, so inappropriate unfiltered mouth love him he is so adorable sweet and caring. I loved this book.

  • Pheonix Fanfiction

The best yet by far! Amazing - Ty is now officially my favorite (Sorry Colt!) Amazing! Have to be honest was a bit worried when I read other reviews thought it was going to be too angsty and cheesy but it wasn't! It was written so well and was very realistic in my opinion! Amazing!

  • Abby Laritz

The first 2 books of this series are great. The rest have seemed to be good, but not like the first two. I'm the type of person that wants to know what happens to the characters, so I'll read for that reason...despite horrible grammatical errors and other small things.

  • Teresasloveofbooks

All jenn's books are Amazing !!!!!'

  • Jennifer

Awe. I love happy endings! I'm so glad it worked out in the end!! I'm going to miss my Colt! Maybe Ty a little. Lol

  • Kara

    Love Foor's stories.

With this being Ty and Miranda’s second book; we get more of the past drama. It’s different then the first book; but still full of the feelings. Ty was his typical goofy self, but at the same time, seeing him so loving was amazing. I won’t spoil because you need to read them all in order but I felt like so much time in this book was rehashing things that had either been in the past (the start of the friendship with them) or things were already know from the last few books. It got to be a little too much. Maybe because I’m reading them back to back it annoys me more. They are still enjoyable books. I’ve noticed more and more typos as the books go on. Missing words, things not adding up from the other books, so that also takes away from the overall story. 3 Stars #2OCCJD

I felt like this one started off a bit slow. Once it picked up things got pretty good. An unexpected person shows up and causes a major commotion in Ty and Miranda’s lives. There’s lots of heartache and healing in this story. By time the epilogue comes around a lot of new things are happening for the whole group.

  • K Reads

I love Ty and Miranda so much more than Colt and Van, I have no idea why.

  • Jennifer Wolfel

TY..... What more can I say! I wanted to hate him after the first book I truly did but I never fully could! Ty and Miranda are so perfect for each other. Their love survives everything because they are so strong. It makes me believe that there is true love that can stand the test of time.

In the fourth installment of the Mitchell Family series, Jenn takes us back to Ty and Miranda's life after the wedding and all of the crazy that surrounded Colt and Van's loss and then triumph... The struggle of everyday life and living with a brother with an addiction and the constant outside forces that exist only brings their family closer together...

Miranda is so strong but yet she is volunderable which makes her even more endearing... Ty is his ever sarcastic self and his cockiness is so fun and challenging! He constantly makes me laugh and on several occasions almost spit food or drink out of my mouth!

The love that he has for Izzy and Miranda knows no boundaries and they are pushed to the limit in this 4th installment. I can't help but wonder if eventually this will come back and haunt them, only Jenn knows what the future holds for this couple!

I even found myself loving Connor in this book, he and Ty have seem to finally buried the doubt that the family had about Ty becoming a changed man consdering his past infidelity with Van! I was touched by the way Connor finally seems to believe that Ty really does love Mirand and Izzy and would do ANYTHING to protect his family. Connor has a a bit more of a presence in this book as well. Not just as he is recovering from addiction but his loyalty to the family and the bonds that he has with his sister and now Ty seem to strengthen by the end with his efforts to write the wrongs of outside influences.

I was not surprised in the least to see that heartless, worthless Heather show back up in the storyline. Boy is she ruthless and has to tact... Jenn is just brilliant when it comes to controversy in this series.

The middle of this book was just flat out hard to read, at about 56% I almost lost it completely and at about 58% I did! Bring the tissues out for the middle of this book it is an unexpected emotional roller coaster I wasn't quite planning on but knowing Jenn's writing I should have seen it coming it was just a matter of time for the tears, I can't say I've read any of the previous books without them.

Once again the Mitchell Family has TONS going on the Epilogue setting us up for another fun filled adventure in the next book! Can't wait for more of the family and hoping to see even more Connor in the next book I really want to see that boy have a happily ever after and found myself cheering for him by the end of this book! I will love Ty and Colt forever but Connor sure snuck in there this time around!

I was pulled into this story right from the get go, which is where I stayed until I had read every single word that was written. At the same time I had my mini movie playing along in my head. Love it when that happens.
Emotions run rife through this book, I went through each and everyone of them along with the characters. I have to admit though, there was a character or two I really wanted to punch, but they redeemed themselves before the end of the book. I might of cried once or twice, so if you are anything like me you might want to make sure you have tissues on hand.
There are surprises throughout this story, some you may see coming, where others you won't. Some are large while others are small, some of the surprises may hit you square in the face, where others may pull on your heart strings. But each and everyone of them holds equal importance within the book.
I have read this book on more than once and have enjoyed it each and every time, even cried at the same places.
I highly recommend this book and this author.

  • Nicole

This book really changed my feelings for Ty. He changed so much from the first book and I love him. Colt is still my top fave though and I am beginning to like connor as well. Hell all the MItchel Boys are amazing. Anyway. This book was so good. I literally could not put it down and had to force myself to sleep that night I started it. It was so emotional, heartbreaking and never a dull moment. That stupid bitch heather needs a slap in the face. I am so happy TY did not do what Heather said he did. Poor Miranda also. Between the custody thing and the accident. OMG I was screaming the whole time. That whole 'plan' they had to get Ty to look as if he was Bella dad, was so stupid and from the beginning I did not believe it to work. Heather is a manipulative bitch. UGH anyway. Everything worked out and I have to say I am loving this series more and more. Next up Connor story and I cant wait to read it.

While book 3 was the worst in the series, this was the best. I really enjoyed this one from beginning to end. I actually like Van and Colt more as characters, but Miranda and Ty have a better story line. I was left hanging on the Amy line and I didn't like that but since book 5 should hopefully be out in the next month or so hopefully I'll get answers, and I am hoping it will be another extension if Colt and Van's story to redeem them after how badly book 3 started and was rushed. This is absolutely not a series that could be read out if order or by skipping one, which is a good thing in my opinion since I have read all the books as they come, but it is a little limiting. Oh well, like I said, I've read them all so who cares! I loved this one and can't wait to see what book 5 has to offer!
