Garfield's Sunday Finest: 35 Years of My Best Sunday Funnies Reviews
-
Great collection of strips over the years. I liked the little notes (Jim Davis went to college with David Letterman) and I forgot when/where Jon Arbuckle and Liz Wilson finally had a successful date- up until that point Jon’s dating life was horrible. At the end there are “reject” strips that never made it into the papers/other books and I can see why but I like seeing the behind the scenes stuff.

Quick impressions: A very nice collection of Sunday strips, in full color. I think fact this was selected by the author makes it a bit better in terms of quality and consistency than the regular collections. This is one fans and casual readers alike can enjoy.

This was a super cute collection. Garfield hasn't had any funny (or even good) comic strips in many years, but this book reminded me of why I loved this character so much when I was a kid.

Perfect for anyone getting into Garfield for the first time.

Great collection. A perfect Sunday read.
However, the commentary seemed kind of redundant and the pre-published panels didn’t really offer much, since they were basically all exactly the same as the finished versions.I liked that some rejected panels were included. -
Garfield is the best comic around! I grew up loving this furry cat. Jim Davis is a genius when it comes to bringing human nature in his characters.
-
Funny comics, some more so than others.
