Read an ARC copy from the author.
This book is well worth the wait. Review to come when book is released:)
The book has now been released so here is my review:)
Jenn Foor is becoming one of my all time Favorite Authors. She just keeps improving with her books. To start I LOVED this series from the get go, but this 3rd book has been the best by far. Jenn truly out did herself with this book. I fell in love with Savanna and Colt in the 1st book and I think I love them even more after reading this book. Colt is still that sexy cowboy that everyone loves and Savanna was a little whiney in the beginning but she proved herself to be a strong women who got through many difficult things. I loved how Colt and Savanna showed you that with love and trust you can overcome any situation. I loved where Jenn took this book, there was just enough suspense to keep you turning the page because you had to find out what was going to happen. I also have to say she turned up the STEAM factor in this book, which I loved by the way:) One of my favorite things about this book, is that even though it was Colt and Savanna story you still got to see the rest of the characters from the other books. By having them in this book just shows you what a close nit family the Mitchells really are. So to sum it up, this is definitely a MUST READ. This is one I will definitely be adding to my favs shelf and reading again and again in the future.
Great Job Jennifer Foor...Keep up the great work. Can't wait for Book 4!!!!!! -
I LOVE COLT!!! (incase someone doesn’t know) Now that I got that out of the way, I can tell you the rest about Raging Love by the awesome Jennifer Foor. I think I am lucky because I proof read for Jenn and I get to read as she writes but on the other hand it can be a bummer when I have to wait for the next chapters and that was the case with this book. So much happens and I was not always able to predict what would happen next, which is a compliment to Jenn :)
Raging Love is a continuation in the series but it is based more on Colt and Savanna. All the others are still in the story but Colt and Savanna are the focus. You know Jenn had to throw Ty in this book too because with him comes the humor and I love his humor. So much happens in this story and I am not one to ruin it for anyone but I will tell you that things HEAT up!! Savanna finally breaks out of her shell and gives Colt exactly what he deserves (and exactly what I want to give him…hehe). There is drama, there is heartache, there are smokin’ sex scenes, there is humor and best of all there is so much love between Colt and Savanna.
These two take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’ in this story. They deserve a happy ending after all they go through and that’s what I love about Jenn’s books…they always get that happy ending one way or another. Savanna can sometimes irritate me because she is a little too whiney for my liking but she finally puts her big girl panties on this time. I cried for her more this time than in Letting Go because I could relate to what she goes through. And Colt, I could talk about Colt all day long but all I will say is that he is one of the HOTTEST, sweetest and most patient guys ever!!!
I highly recommend this story. Raging Love is my favorite so far in the Mitchell Family Series. Jenn’s writing gets better and better with each book and I look forward to all the books to come from her! -
This third book in the Mitchell family series is by far the best so far. I adore this series and the characters are impossible not to love. Jennifer Foor writes a masterpiece again and I my eyes were glued to my e-reader from beginning to end. I was taken on an emotional roller coaster ride and I didn't want it to end. What I love about this series is that not only do you get to experience the love that the couple has for one another but also the trials that they go through in their life together. It is not all roses but they come through their troubles even stronger than ever.
"Raging Love" continues the relationship of Colt and Savannah Mitchell and their journey through life. It was a pleasure to see them over come a crisis and rise above it and continue on their road to happiness. I adored their honeymoon and how they even included Ty and Miranda to join them in Hawaii. Of course Tyler just adds to the humor in the story and he is just so entertaining that I am always laughing out loud at some of the things that he says and does. He really is a "show stealer" and it is so nice to see his character grow as the books continue. That is another thing I enjoy so much about this family series; the way that all of the characters are growing, changing, and making their relationships more solid. The Mitchell family is strong and they stick together; which is how families should be. There are some major things that happen in this story, some are pleasant and some are heart wrenching.
This series just keeps getting better and I look forward to becoming absorbed in the life of the Mitchell family in book #4. If you are looking for a series that not only has romance, drama, family love, and sizzling hot sex, this is the book for you. Just make sure you have the tissues nearby, because you will laugh, cry and feel all sorts of emotions through this heartwarming story. It is worth every moment spent reading it and I hope there are going to be lots more future books in this wonderful series! -
3.5 to 4 stars[rating overall for series books 1 and 3]
This series alternates PoV of two couples' lives, the author taking turns with each couple's continuing stories, from bk 1 to 4 (from love to marriage to kids and some obstacles in between).
Between the main couples of this series, I definitely feel that Colt and Savannah (of bk 1 and 3(this book) are the better couple to read about, due to both characters being given more dimensions and motivation. That said, the other couple, Ty and Miranda, are given more depth in this book, as the less responsible, supporting characters, than they were given in their own book (#2), IMO, but they're still pretty one dimensional as they were before. On a whole, the author seems to be fighting an issue of balance(in plot execution), between developing character and building conflicts.
Along the lines of conflicts, Savannah's character seems to be the one who is the most affected by them, whether through conscience, mental stress or physical pain, so she comes off as a more tangible character, more real (even in Ty and Miranda's book). Colt follows a close second, and the love he shares with Savannah is a delightful thing to behold. Colt is swoon-worthy.
Some hiccups
stream of consciousness among the characters gets long-winded and repetitive, at points. Then conflict sweeps in-- giving the characters a chance to be seen in a different aspect--giving the plot some much needed action. However, the major action, or biggest outside antagonist, doesn't live up to expectation because it doesn't get solved. In addition, internal struggles don't get satisfying clarity when actually addressed. It seems the author's concern is about tying it all up in a neat bow or that she's let things go unfinished.
In all
The book puts the characters in a hodgepodge sequence of events that can get frustrating. Despite this, the theme of family and love, seasoned with some steamy love-making(and a bit of raunchiness), help make the reading enjoyable. This author's potential and her story-telling talent are definitely as evident as the need for editing in her books.
The Mitchell family saga has it own unique flavor [even though I can't help but think it's always "almost but not quite"].
I'm curious enough to continue the series. -
Jennifer Foor has done it again! She is quickly becoming my new favorite author! Raging Love is AMAZING. The entire series has been, but I think this is the best one yet! I fell in love with Colt and Savannah in Book 1 and fell even harder while reading Book 3. The amount of love and trust they have for each other blows me away and Jennifer's writing conveys these feeling so clearly. They have to undergo some difficulties and hardships in Raging Love, and she manages to keep you in suspense unable to put the book down without finding out how the problem is resolved. In addition, Book 3, in my opinion, turns up the heat with more steamy yummy scenes that will leave you breathless! Even Ty and Miranda, while clearly not the main focus of the book, have some really great scenes and play a big role in the way this story unfolds. My emotions were all over the place - happy, sad, angry, frustrated, scared, surprised - and it's that type of writing that makes Jennifer Foor such a wonderful author! Do not miss out on this book!! I can't wait to see what happens in Book 4. Keep up the great work!

WOW!!! Fantastic sequel...PERFECT!!!
I absolutely loved this book! Colton is an absolute doll...hes perfect in every way! I truly enjoyed Colt & Savanna's love story! This is a book that once you start, you cant put down! I loved it from beginning to end!! Colt's love for Savanna is so sweet that he stole my heart...he actually stole it in the first book...& little Noah...he is PERFECT!!! I love all the characters in this book & the closeness they share! OMG, TY... he is freaking hilarious!! I'm glad he & Miranda were in this book a lot! Ive laughed & cried while reading this book! A lot of LOL moments! Colt & Van went through a lot of ups & downs in this book but their LOVE for each other was never questioned! Jennifer Foor did an AMAZING job with this book & series!! Excited for book 4 & I'm hoping we will continue to see how all the characters grow in life! GREAT SERIES!! A MUST READ!!!
"HELLO DARLIN"....Ahhhh : D -
I was hoping I'd like this book a lot more than I actually did. I'll admit, I skipped the second book in the series because I didn't like Ty in the first book and I didn't want to read his story. I can tell I missed some stuff by skipping it, but I don't think I would have liked this book anymore if I hadn't.
If you've ever read any of my other reviews, you'll see that I like strong female characters, and while some may consider Savanna somewhat strong, especially given all the crap life keeps throwing at her, I feel she's actually too much of a pushover for my tastes. I mean, I get that to forgive is divine and crap like that, but I don't understand how she can just forgive Ty for being the horrible bf he was, and then remain pretty good friends with him and his wife. I can be a jealous person, and you can kind of see little pangs of jealousy come out of Savanna every once in awhile, but not enough that makes me feel like she stands up enough for herself, instead trying to keep the peace and accept things as they are. Savanna's almost a little Stepford Wife-ish in how accepting she is of all the bad stuff that seems to keep happening to her (no blow-ups, breakdowns, nothing) and that just doesn't seem realistic to me.
Also, I feel like there were a lot of things that were glossed over in this book. And besides the sex scenes, I didn't see how much Colt loves Savanna as much as I did in the first book. That made me mad because we keep reading about how much in love Ty and Miranda are, but I didn't get the same feeling with Colt and Savanna.
So in all, this was just okay for me. The first was better, and although I'm a little curious about the third book in the series that features Savanna and Colt, I didn't like any of the other characters enough to want to read their stories, and I'm sure skipping them would leave big holes, so looks like this is it for me and this series. -
PERFECT sequel. What a roller coaster ride.
After reading the book, I came to admire Savanna more. I was always at her side from book 1 because of all the things she went through. I even thought to myself, hell I could be a better best friend for her than Brina because that girl did nothing for her at all. My God, Savanna was as tough as nails. You could kick her, insult her, pull her down all you want but she would just rise up again. And her transition in this book was just inspiring. But she had Colt to thank for. Seriously, what a perfect man Colt was. He's just.. WOW.. Supportive. Loving. Sexy. Hot. Handsome. Romantic. In other words.. PERFECT!
Oh and the new family members.. Hmmm-hmmm. Just adorable.
Ahhhh!!! This is why I hate writing reviews because I have to hold my tongue (or my fingers) from giving away spoilers. That's me, sometimes I love them, sometimes I hate them. I love giving them to the others but I hate hearing them from the others.
Thank you for this Jenn. This book is pure love! -
This is the 3rd installment in Jennifer Foor's Mitchell Family Series; and although there is at least one more book on the way, Raging Love was like reading one very long epilogue for Colt & Savanna's story in
Letting Go and Ty & Miranda's story in
Folding Hearts. This is a great series to get into because the characters are so well drawn and the drama so real that you easily lose that tenuous touch we all have with reality when we read and become part of the Mitchell family. There is, however, a bittersweet twist to this story that I couldn't seem to get my head around enough to rate it higher. -
Colt Mitchell is the man of every woman's dreams. Srsly the things he does for Savannah, my goodness. This is the best one so far in my opinon. Colt and Savannah has a really hard time in this one but it will end up a happy one. Ty is the funniest daddy as Bella says and she is right he cracks me up. I love how he has fallen for Miranda and they are so happy. I can't wait for the next book! Jennifer did an awesome job writing this series, I love how she never skips a beat and how well the books transition from one to another. You pick up exactly where you left off and she doesn't skip forward and make you feel like there was so much you are missing in between. This is a must read people! Wonderful book. LOVE LOVE LOVE the Mitchell Boys!

I personally did not find this one as good as the first two in the series. I felt the author was trying to shove too many emotionally significant events in too short of a novel. Because of that, all of them were covered extremely briefly and felt very superficial, even though those events in a life would be left a very significant impact. Essentially the events felt very superficial in this installment, a shame because I loved the first book about Colt and Savannah. I absolutely had to finish it to find out what happens, because of my interest in the characters from the first book, but otherwise honestly this is one I would not have bothered to finish reading.

Finally, Colt and Savanna get married. About damn time! I kid, I kid. But seriously if I had to hear Savanna whine about her wedding one more day, I was going to throw myself off the Brooklyn Bridge. I kid, I kid again. Good story line. When it rained, it poured with the Mitchell family. And I mean literally, it poured in one scene.
Colt was great. A little TOO perfect for my taste. Savanna got on my nerves a bit. But Ty and Miranda. Hot shit those two are the crazy ass hot couple in love! Those two are the King and Queen of Funny Smexy Town. I really like them a lot. I had no idea that I would fall in love with Ty like I did. In Colt and Savanna's first book, Ty was a cheating, womanizing, pain in the ass boyfriend who couldn't keep it in his pants and who had no redeeming qualities. But thank god he did a 180 in the second book. Hot damn that kid is hot! And geezus do my ovaries/uterus/womb/heart fall out of my body and explose when I see a father and his baby especially his baby girl. the awww facture is off the charts. A man that loves and adores his wife and children is A+ in my book.
Can not wait for the next book after this. I am so looking forward to Ty and Miranda's second book. And also, hopefully find out what happens to Conner. -
I received an ARC of Raging Love by the fabulous Jenn Foor. I love this series and have many hours invested in these characters. In Raging Love Van and Colt are preparing for their wedding. Tragedy strikes the couple before the wedding. Through it all Colt still manages to give Van her day.
Throughout the whole book real life situations take place. It's not fantasy but real. Just like in real life, tragedy will hit in one way shape or form. What Jenn has done is put real life situations in her books. She has done this with all three of them. Nothing is too crazy, true to life and that could happen to anyone.
There were parts in the book that I laughed my fool head off out loud! There were several that I found myself crying like a baby. There is a part in the book that I could completely identify with. That is what I loved about it. It was real, sweet, funny, HOT as hell and gut wrenching at times but that is what makes a book worth reading!! -
I have to say that Colt and Van are to die for! I enjoyed Folding Hearts with Ty and Miranda; but there is just no comparison to these two. I enjoyed this book so much! It had hotness, suspense and some truly funny bits. I loved that Ty and Miranda were also involved in this story quite a bit. They brought it to life; and Ty is just so much fun! I only gave it 4 stars, because there were some parts that just seemed to drag a bit, but it was never for long. I have to say that Colt puts most cowboy/hero characters that I have read to shame...he is just utter perfection and I would love to eat him alive. The wedding...the honeymoon...yumminess thru and thru!!

I enjoyed this book more than I did the first two. Everyone got along in a way I was comfortable with. In the first two books I had a difficult time liking Tyler. I enjoyed reading about the relationships, the troubles they endured, & the way they all worked together to make things happen. There were a few sad moments and just as many or more happy & sweet moments. There was only one part of the book I was a little uncomfortable with but it's actually something that happens a lot in the real world, it just happens to be one of my biggest fears. I think Jennifer Foor did a great job writing this story and I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment:)
-
Jennifer Foor you have done it again. I absolutely loved this book. The beautiful connection that each character has between themselves is just simply amazing. You really feel the love that goes on within the Mitchell family. It really was breathtaking to read more about Savanna and Colts life through the highs and the lows of their powerful love. Jennifer Foor you had me from the first page in Letting Go. I can't wait for the next one to come out to hear more about those Dreamy Hot Michell boys! A must read for anyone who is a love struck fool and loves to read a hot romance. You will not be disappointed!
-
To be completely honest I don't care too much about Savanna but this was a great book. The little happening and dramas were a bit cliche at times but this is a romance so it happens. A little spoiler but Savanna and Colt do indeed end up a happy family which they completely deserve.
I had to get my Ty and Miranda fix, and what a fix it was! I just love love them. Although her brother has became a big pain in the rear and a jerk to boot, I hope he gets his own HEA. Very interested to read more about him. Those bad boys with chips on their shoulders get me every time. It must be some kind of disease.
All in all, this is shaping up to be an awesome series. What a great author! -
The story of Colt and Van continues in the third book in the series. I loved the first book and loved both Colt and Van. I still really enjoyed their story in this book but felt Colt played more of background character in this book. There was a lot about Ty and Miranda which I enjoyed but I have to admit I got a little tired of hearing about them and how jealous Van was over their type of relationship.
As the book progressed I felt like it did go into more Van and Colt and was very glad for that. They just seem like such the couple next door and I was glad to see them get to enjoy each other and their life. -
I was apprehensive reading this one because I really disliked Savannah in book one. She was just so cliched and got on my nerves. She's actually kind of depressing and resembled a spoiled only child. BUT<\b> she has been mostly redeemed in this one. Colt was awesome as usual in his southern gentlemanly ways and how he takes such good care of his lady love.
More drama ensues in this one and I still like to compare it to soap operas. These are great reads when you are looking for just entertainment, not heavy , emotionally bogged down literature. Good campy fun. It's become addicting to "tune in tomorrow" to see what happens next. On to book 4!! -
I finally able to finish this tonight. :D To be brutally honest this story is full of hot sex scenes, cheezy love lines, I even laugh so hard when it comes to Noah's part of the story! Noah's is a pretty funny and genius kid and totally smitten when it comes to Bella. hahaha. And for Colt men I'm totally swoon by this man. *wink. Totally sweet and great man. Loving Savanna and having Noah and Christian was totally the best thing ever happen to him and well for both of them actually.
I'd enjoyed reading this. Great job Jennifer. Thank you for keeping me company tonight. -
Oh, where to start?! I'm going to be totally honest and admit about halfway through this book I wanted to hate it for reasons I can't divulge without giving everything away but by the end of the book I had tears in my eyes and a smile on my face. I'm totally in love with Colt Mitchell lol and the whole Mitchell family for that matter =) I never want The Mitchell Family series to end! Bring on Risking Fate! -
Friggin hell!! this book was more intense then the first 2 Colt and Van had one hell of a roller coaster ride in this book and a whole lot of bad luck for a while but they pulled though and stuck too it.I really liked the development of Vans character in this book, u see her changing from book 1 into a women in this book. And she has alot of heartace and obsitcles to get through in this installment she becomes alot stronger and a more confident person. Was not disappointed :-)
-
Love it as much as the first two and dang if Jennifer keeps you wanting more Mitchell! I am a Colt and Ty fan ,Ty's sexy sense of humor in book three took him up a few notches. You can see Conner starting to bloom in book three also, but neither one are at Colt status. The Mitchell clan goes through hell and high water in this book, but stay strong. Can't wait to see what is in store for them next. It was a great, sexy HOT as hell read!
-
OH YES!!! I bought this TODAY!! Can't wait to read more about Colt & Van's story :) LOVE THEM!!!!
CAN'T WAIT TO GO HOME TO START READING THIS!!! -
Romance romance romance and more romance, I love this series... It is just so sticky happy sweet huggable mmmmmm cute mmmm just makes me feel of warm and mushy inside... My romantic side had been well and truly sated after that read. -
It wasn't my favorite Jennifer Foor book but it was good. I look forward to book 4 in the series.
-
still more of a fan now of Ty and Miranda but I liked this conclusion of savanna and colts!
-
I just love the Mitchell men. This book was filled with tragedy and joy. Another great book by Jenn Foor. Moving on to book 4 and my favorite Mitchell man Ty!
-
I love this entire series.
Jennifer Foor's writing is fantastic.
