The Sir Arthur Annals -My Brother Who Would be Sherlock (Book I) Reviews
-
I am new to goodreads and as such am having a little trouble figuring out how to contribute.
If you are a fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes mysteries, then you MUST read: "The Sir Arthur Annals -My Brother Who Would be Sherlock (Book I), by James Ray"!
The Table of Contents immediately gets your whistle wet with anticipation for the fun prose inside. Like Sir Arthur's books, Jim weaves tales of intrigue with unique plots that twist and turn to tease you. Jim uses his sharp mind to spin cunning tales that will make you think. Jim is clever in his writing style, because he makes you feel like you are right there in the middle of the action in the North Carolina hill country with Sir Arthur.
Having grown up reading Sir Arthur and watching Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce in the movies, reading Jim's book was a walk down memory lane for me.
The book is perfect on a cold night by the fire with a warm toddy to keep you toasty. The stories will keep you turning the pages, trying to figure out -who are the bad guys, and whether you will guess the solution to the mysteries. Give James Ray a read and you won't be disappointed. I can't wait for Book II!
