Sequel to Cooking For Cowboy...

Chad Parker and Sierra Griffin find themselves happily making wedding plans, unaware that their lives soon could be changed forever.

Recently-retired professional bull rider, Stuart Robertson temporarily leaves his comfortable life in Las Vegas to take up residence as a hard-working cowhand on Willie Smythe’s cattle ranch near Calgary, Canada. Going by Stu Jackson, he intends to keep his true identity a secret while he satisfies his curiosity about the guy he’s recently learned is his half brother, Chad Parker.

But Stuart hadn’t planned on falling head-over-heels in love with the boss’s daughter. And he secretly intends to propose, hoping once she learns his true identity she’ll accompany him back home as his wife.

Cathy Smythe has a secret of her own, and she wants Chad Parker for herself. She should have snagged Chad long ago. Now that he’s engaged, is she too late to win his affection? Or is penniless Stu Jackson her destiny?

This was a sweet western romance. Cathy was a bitter young lady . She was bitter because her mom died young and her father raised her. Stu was the assistant foreman on their ranch. Cathy had been seeing Stu at night so no would know they were involved. Cathy thought her dad wouldn't approve because Stu was just a ranch hand. Stuart took a job at their ranch so he could find out about his half brother whose ranch was next door. Stu is already a self made millionaire, but they don't know that about him. Cathy just thinks he's a poor ranch hand. Cathy winds up pregnant to Stu and now she has to tell her dad. There are a lot of other people involved in this story as it goes in, including Chad, and Sierra, Stu's half brother and his girl and both their families . This is a great story and one I am sure you will enjoy

Secrets for Cowboy is an interesting story but we start by getting to know Cathy. Honestly, I would rather not get to know her. She is an awful person. Her mother died several years earlier and it has hit Cathy hard (of course). Cathy becomes a very bitter and rude woman who speaks before she thinks - treating everyone badly.

Cathy is having sex (secretly) with Stuart who is the ranch assistant foreman. Stuart is not the person he seems to be. He is actually a famous, retired bull rider and very wealthy. He is pretending to be someone else so he can get a job on the ranch. He wants to learn something about his half-brother who lives next door and who doesn't know Stuart exists.

Cathy gets pregnant and Stuart wants to marry her but Cathy doesn't want to get married to him. I liked Stuart's character. He was a good man but I couldn't figure out what he saw in Cathy. Other than he is a man and she wanted sex but it seemed that he saw more in her. I didn't get it.

There were some questions that the author didn't answer either.

Having said all that, I still found myself wanting to get back to the book. I really liked Stuart.

This is a story of personal growth and maturing, and I enjoyed it immensely. The emotions are real, and at times a bit uncomfortable to witness. The sex scenes sizzle and draw you in.
Cathy has dealt with some awful blows, and they have made her bitter. Lucky for her, one ranch hand can see beyond the hurt-first-ask-questions-later exterior to the loving, caring woman who hides beneath. Unfortunately, Stuart, the hero, he has secrets of his own and must learn to share them before it is too late.
Together they learn to overcome the past and move towards a future, both of them better for loving each other.
It was a bonus that this story ties in so well with Sinclair’s other Stampede Sizzler Romance. I can’t wait for a third story.

I liked this book, but I hated the heroine's character. Cathy I disliked from Cooking for Cowboy...I loved Stuart but to me Cathy was a self-centered bitter bitch. This book also felt forced to me, it did not have the flow that Cooking for Cowboy had.

If you liked the first one I would say give this one a try because you may end up loving...

Good sweet romance story! Love the handsome brothers Stuart Robertson and Chad Parker. Enjoyed reading the part where the brothers met for the first time and further meetings between them. Enjoyed siblings moment. The ending was sweet..
