Guardians of the Galaxy: The Story of the Guardians (World of Reading Level 2) Reviews

These kinds of stories are kinda just cashing in for a quick buck. Minimal effort given, no well explained, boring, no development, characters aren't even clarified who is who. Never seen any of these movies, nor have my kids, so it was a little like written for those who were already into it, which I can understand as a way to get kids into reading, but there still should have been more effort given since the movies are rated for an older audience than these books are (and therefore your kids that would read these probably haven't seen the movies).

A very cool book about superheroes, teamwork, perseverance, and family bonds. This book is designated as a "level 2" book for students who are almost ready to transition into chapter books, but just aren't quite there yet. The illustrations are very cool and look like any illustration you would find in a comic book or superhero cartoon. There are a few sentences on each page but it still is kept short so that the story continues to flow. This is a great little book with good messages hidden within. I would recommend this to readers with a little bit of experience who are ready to move up in reading levels. This would probably be good for students who are in 1st-3rd grade.

This is like an even younger version of
    Guardians of the Galaxy: Beginnings
, which is already written on a level for younger kids. It was a bit too young for my second-grader. But I'm not sure how many kindergarteners will see this film.

A very nice book for early readers who love superheroes and space.
