FOUR BEAVER CREEK STARS.
"if she's not careful, she may just fall for the best man."
The 'Wedding Dare' series has been an absolute delight to read and to be quite honest I now feel a little sad that I have to say goodbye to the characters that I have met at the Beaver creek wedding. The whole compilation has been just what I love about the brazen books; quick easy reading with plenty of romance and naughty shenanigans. The last and final book of the series was just what I needed to leave the collection on a high, it had the perfect amount of romance and sweet to leave me happy to have read this book. Samanthe Beck did the perfect job of ending this series with the story of Logan and Sophie a couple I've been desperate to read about and to top it off 'Best man with benefits' had the perfect epilogue leaving me with a big silly smile and a huge case of the warm and fuzzies. I couldn't recommend this sexy short novel enough.
Always feeling like the under achiever and odd one out Sophie Brooks is determined to make some must needed changes in her life. Arriving at her older brothers wedding she is about to put those changes to the ultimate test when she comes face to face with her long term crush. Logan McCade can't believe his eyes when he meets up with Sophie his best friends little sister, once a young shy girl she is now catching his attention in a way that is not part of his duties as the best man. When the attraction between Sophie and Logan becomes too hard to ignore, Sophie has to decide to move past her low self worth and Logan must decide to go after what he wants. But with secrets and past insecurities in the way of a future together they have a rocky road ahead to get what they both want - each other.
What a sweet, low drama, romance filled story. Admittedly the 'best friend, younger sister' story has been done more times than I can count but it's still a trope that always sucks me in and with an author like Samantha beck deciding the characters fate I knew I'd be in for one enjoyable, romantic read. This book has a great mix of sexy, kinky and romantic it never dragged or felt boring instead I was left hankering for more. Having the advantage of already meeting the characters in the previous books of the series I already had an insight into their lives and I was more than ready to meet them. Usually for my tastes an insecure heroine normally tips the balance into annoying but I think Samantha Beck created a good balance of insecure and character growth and whilst I won't be crowning Sophie a favourite of the series she was likeable enough for me to be celebrating the possibility of her happy ending. Logan was a hero that I was also excited to learn more about, he had everything that I normally love in a brazen hero and I think I must have sighed, swooned and blushed enough to know he was a character worth mentioning in my review. Overall there was plenty to love about this short book but not enough to hand out the full five stars, I love this authors style and I'm looking forward to reading more.
Final thoughts ...
It goes without saying that I'm sad to say goodbye, I can't express enough how fabulous the 'wedding dare' series has been. I love that a group of authors have come together and written a series that connects so well, everything was cleverly put together to produce an unforgettable series and I'm hoping that brazen will decide to re create the idea again with a different setting. As for 'Best man with benefits' it was everything I expected and hoped for to end the series off and although this was not my favourite of the series I was still entertained and fell in love with Logan and Sophie just like I knew I would. If you want to enjoy a light hearted, sexy and at times wickedly naughty series then I suggest you grab this whole series, sit back and fall in love. Go grab the whole series readers, I dare you. Enjoy ... Kisses.

"There's no other rush like you."
Logan is taking what he hopes to be a vacation away from the prison he created in his business, Defy Gravity. Here to stand as his best friends best man, he hopes to finally relax and enjoy the time away. Being the best man comes with some responsibilities, and in Logan's case he is tasked to getting the Groom's sister out of her shy shell and out mingling with the rest of them. He remembers Sophie from their college days but nothing prepares him for the curvy vixen in front of him, sad though that she can't see what he and every red blooded man sees when she walks by. Looking forward to his task a little bit more, he vows to show her just how desirable she really is."Do what you gotta do. But then it's going to be my turn, and while you might hate how much you want me, by the time I'm done with you you're going to be thanking me at the top of your lungs. "
Sophie has had a crush on Logan since the first day she met him, in her mind he is way out of her league, but she decides to be the new Sophie and enjoy the attention he seems to be willing to give her, even if it's just for the week. One moment she is "Miss Sexy and Empowered" and the next she is "Miss Uptight and Chicken", what could he possibly see in her when he has the pick of the bunch. Her insecurities buried deep down are hard to forget, making her want to run and hide any chance she gets, but somehow being with Logan makes her almost believe.Cowardice lay at the heart of shyness.
Logan is burnt out and finding himself jealous of the path his best friend is taking, wanting it for his own. How can he and Sophie make it work past the week, they live on opposite sides of the country, he is tied to his work and Sophie can't believe he wants her and only her. So many issues to overcome, do they have what it takes to make it ?!?
Best Man with Benefits is a cute sexy read; brother's best friend watching out for the little sister, that has an added element. It wasn't just the Bro's BF there was issue with work, personal insecurity and decisions of the future. It's a fairly quick read that is told from both their POV's, I personally don't really care for insecure heroine's but Sophie didn't bother me much, she had an adventurous streak not being able to turn down a dare that help offset her issues. Enjoyable read and perfect when you want something familiar yet unique.

4.5 Stars! A Samanthe Beck Book=Guaranteed Good Read!!
I found myself smirking the whole time I was reading Best Man with Benefits. Samanthe Beck has a knack for making sexy fun, she’s so clever; her writing is always smart and witty. Her books aren’t drowning in angst, which makes them light easy reads, but they are still loaded with sensual passionate good times! Always the perfect blend of fun and sex, a delicious delightful treat every time!
She's also genius in pairing her characters. Logan...incredibly sweet, caring, charming and hot...very, very HOT, he definitely lived up to the McCade men reputation and was every bit as yummy as his brothers. He set my heart a flutter and I set the misting fan on high!!
Sophie…adorable, shy, with a sexy side just waiting to escape, but her endless criticism of herself went on a tad too long. While I understood it, and the part it played in the overall story, I had a few of those “here we go again” moments. However, she does something at the end of the book that took guts and spoke volumes about how confident she had become, about herself and her relationship with Logan.
These two seem to find themselves in the most interesting compromising predicaments *snicker*, and we get to join them while they worm their way in and out of them. In this case it starts out innocently enough, but when Logan finds himself falling for Sophie, it becomes more than keeping his best friend's sister involved it the wedding activities. He creates a few of his own, that weren't on the agenda, and only involve the two of them!!
“Do what you gotta do. But then it’s going to be my turn, and while you might hate how much you want me, by the time I’m done with you, you’re going to be thanking me at the top of your lungs.” ~ Logan
SSSSSSSSSSmokin'!!!
A wonderful epilogue tops it all off! I love you Samanthe Beck, you've brought so much reading joy into my life…thank you!!
Best Man with Benefits is part of the Wedding Dare series and while it’s listed as the 4th installment, it can easily be read out of order or as a standalone. So many of the secondary characters played such an important role in this story, and they've stirred my curiosity. Now I want to read the entire series and find out what happens in their books!

4 Discovering The Beauty Within Through His Eyes
* * * * Spoiler Free
We have reached a place awareness, a clearer picture of all the types of bullying that can take place during the formative years. I think we all have known about the practice of teasing the girl who developed early or the boy who was slight and didn't fit in. These things have happened for hundreds of years all over the globe. But with the advent of the internet, unfortunately, life-changing decisions by those who were teased, have been made into stories for the 5 o'clock news causing us to be a little more willing to share our own experiences or encourage others to come forward. Because what thoughtless children, distracted teachers, and even well-meaning parents say during this time of growth creates the lens we see ourselves through.
The last couple of the Wedding Dare grouping of books is Logan and Sophie. They are the last piece to this terrific series based on a destination wedding between friends and family. We have observed the same week through all four couples and although each is easily read without the others... there is an added joy when all are read in succession.
Sophie is the baby sister of Colton, the groom. She knows all of the guys from way back. They all have looked at her as the girl who would always take a dare and be willing to hang out with them. There was 8 years difference between her and Colton, so when she really needed protection from the bullies in high school, he was in college.
Sophie had to endure the teasing and stares when her body developed. No teacher stepped up, no click to be a part of. She had to handle it alone causing her to wish to be invisible. She used her brain to learn web design and carried a bit of extra weight as protection, letting her blend in the background, and it became her way of life.
But with the wedding and meeting Kady, Sophie took a hard look at herself and made a major choice. She was going to lose the extra poundage, become more assertive at work, and become open to love. She accomplished all but one of her goals but who knows... there is a wedding week and Logan will be there, who was an old crush.
Logan is Colton's Best Man. They were roommates all through college and remained tight. Logan founded his own company which revolutionized climbing and outdoor equipment. He created it from the ground up making it now being his 24/7 mistress. Because to give up any control, scares the hell out of him. He is responsible to the investors, board, and employees. Everyone who cares about him wants him to get a life encouraging him to let go a bit, and the question is if he can.
The set up has Colton concerned about his sister and how shy she is. He enlists Logan to keep an eye out for her making sure she has a good time and not feel the need to hide out during the week.
We can all figure what happens...Logan sees a beautiful woman at the check-in counter of the hotel, sees her from the angle displaying all of her womanly Jessica Rabbit curves, and he is smitten. She turns and beholds it is Sophie...
There is the crush she has for him, there are the new eyes he has for her, and both have a base of knowing each other so it isn't too insta lust. This starts as Logan wanting to make Sophie comfortable and blooms into a hot and heavy relationship.
Samantha Beck uses this story to address what I mentioned earlier, the way we grow up and see ourselves. She presents a character like Sophie who does not see herself as worthy or able to compete with other women. She is never pretty enough or her figure will never be slim enough.
Sophia thinks she just isn't on their level but instead Ms. Beck gives her a man like Logan, who loves every curve and feature she has. The scenes between Logan and her have such depth, insight, and emotion. They are way above the usual. One in particular with Logan proving to Sophie how truly beautiful she is during sex will not only register as hot but also take your breath away.
The path these two take has a few ups and downs but overall very rewarding.
This series was a winner in my book. You got to be a part of these characters, experience their individual love connections over the same time period, so there were the same specific scenes in each book but from different perspectives. All the authors brought their A-game and I would love to experience this type of reading again.

4 sweet and naughty stars!
You'd know that I'm reading a Samanthe Beck book because I have this silly grin on my face the entire time. Truth. So it's no wonder I adored this book.
Best Man With Benefits is the last book of the Wedding Dare series and at the same time the last book in Samanthe Beck's the McCade Brothers Series.
Logan McCade is the youngest McCade and also best friend of the groom, Colton. He's shit-hot but married to his job.
Sophie Brooks is Colton's socially awkward younger sister and one of the bridesmaids. She's shy and is a bit insecure about her looks being that she's neither thin nor statuesque.
When Colton asks Logan to "look" after his sister during the wedding, Logan took his job a little too much too heart. With Logan's own brand of handling skittish bridesmaids, Sophie is finally having fun and actually believing that she has something to offer to other people.
I just adore their banter and their shared history. And the sexy times are just pure fun. And the chemistry is shit hot. Logan is quite different from his brothers. While Trevor is much more reserved and Michael has broody all cornered, Logan is a serious charmer with a streak of naughtiness a mile wide. Although, I'm pretty sure all McCade brothers are naughty in some ways but Logan...*sigh* He can definitely charm me anytime.
Honestly, I haven't read the rest of the series yet but I wasn't lost or bombarded with details about the other couples, which is great. And although, this book is part of a series, this can pretty much stand on its own.
That said, I loved the epilogue of this book knowing that the stories of Logan and his friends has finally come full circle. I think it's a perfect end to a wonderful series.
P.S.
I listen to a lot of conference calls as part of my job. And after this book, I'll never listen to conference calls the same way ever again.

"Take off your underdog cape you wear around like a security blanket, because it doesn't fit at all..."
So much to love about this book. Sophie is a great sympathetic character and one that is easy to start rooting for. She's recently lost weight and is making an effort to step away from her shy wallflower status. She's put herself out there enough to be considered for a promotion at work, and she's beginning to feel confident like she never has before. Faced with the other bridesmaids who look like supermodel sorority girls, all of her insecurities come rushing back and it's hard to break those ingrained habits. Add on the fact that Logan, her brother's best friend and her childhood crush, is there to witness (once again) her inadequacies, and Sophie starts to feel exactly like she did when she was a frumpy, overweight teenage girl.
But Logan doesn't see her that way. He only sees how far she's come. He's a good guy, that's all there is to it. I got that feeling that even had Sophie still been pimply faced and frumpy, Logan would still have been a sweetheart to her. Thank goodness he felt more than amicable feelings, though, because this book was wonderfully scorching!!!
Every. Single. Sex scene. Was. Smoking HOT!!!!! From the time Logan puts the pressure on Sophie to own up to how beautiful she really is to a surprising yet glorious good morning to the sexiest conference call I will ever have the pleasure of witnessing, Samanthe Beck solidifies that fact that she writes good sex.
Logan also learns something from Sophie, and I think that's important in any romance...that both the hero and the heroine take something from each other but also give something to each other. Logan has been bogged down with his company to the point that he ignores family and friends and is letting life pass him by while he's stuck in a boardroom, making deals. I loved in this book when one of the groomsmen basically tells him that a woman won't appreciate the importance of the phone call or business meeting...overall, she'll ultimately notice his absence, and she'll take it to heart.
I think it's important to note the entire series, as this is the last installment:
I didn't read the first three books in the series or the prequel novella, but I didn't feel like I missed out on anything. Those stories apparently happen simultaneously with this one. The only giveaway was in the epilogue, which wraps up all of the wedding attendant's love lives.
This was my second book by Samanthe Beck, and I'm a believer! Her characters are likeable, their relationships develop believably, their chemistry is off the charts, and she brings it all together in a fun, lighthearted manner.

You don't know anything about my needs."
"You need me to strip you naked, bend you over my bed, and slide my cock inside you until you forget what it feels like not to have me filling you."
The perfect conclusion to a fantastic series, Best Man with Benefits is the story of best man, Logan, and the groom's sister, Sophie. As I was reading the series (which I strongly recommend reading in order for the best experience), the little hints at what was brewing between Sophie and Logan had my curiosity really piqued. I wasn't sure how I'd like their story since I'm not typically a big fan of extremely shy and introverted heroines, but I gotta say, I really liked Sophie.
Grown tired of the "Old Sophie", the New Sophie is determined to shed her old image and embrace life.
A wallflower living in bulky sweatshirts and baggy jeans, clinging to an extra twenty pounds like a buffer against the world. An unfulfilled woman who wouldn't know passion and excitement except through the racy text accompanying the erotic product offerings of the spicy website she designed and maintained for her firm's biggest client."
Enter Logan McCade, the overworked CEO of his own successful company and the best man in the wedding. Being the groom's best man, Logan has known Sophie for years...though he's a little unprepared for the new version of her he encounters. Colton is concerned his introverted sister will shy away from all the festivities, so he asks Logan to look after her and makes sure she enjoys herself...though I doubt he knew how that would turn out.
He had enough time to open his eyes, jerk his head up, and watch his best friend's shy, adorable, strictly off-limits little sister annihilate him with the most incredible blow job of his entire life.
Sophie is determined to shed her old self, and what better way than to explore all her deepest and darkest fantasies with her brother's incredibly sexy best friend? With the way that Logan was portrayed in the previous 3 books, I was a little afraid he may be a little stuffy for my tastes. He was always the nice and safe one from the descriptions as opposed to the rest of the guys. But Samanthe didn't let down in the dirty talk department. Beneath the overworked, suit wearing exterior Logan was a dirty dirty boy.
And once you've come so hard you can't stand, you need me to flip you around, hike your legs over my shoulders, and do it again, head-on, until you scream loud enough to have management banding on the door.
While this wasn't my favorite of the 4 books, it was still a very solid 4 star read. There was one scene where Sophie embraced her inner vixen that read a bit awkward to me. She goes from a shy girl to a spanking dominatrix in the blink of an eye...and then back again. Not sure if anyone else will really mind that, but for some reason it did't quite work for me.
Of course keeping in tradition with the rest of this series, the epilogue was the perfect sweet icing on the cake. I cannot recommend this series enough. The way each novel plays off of the other and interweaves the couples flawlessly was certainly no small feat, but so worth the effort that was obviously put into it. Hands down of my my favorite series I've read from Brazen to date. Absolutely loved it.
While each novel is easily read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading them all.

4 - "We just kept massaging the deal until everyone felt good about it." Stars!
Best Man With Benefits brings us to the end of what has been an absolutely spectacular series. I have enjoyed each and every book for different reasons, and I know without doubt I will revisit the characters and their stories again and again in the future.
Logan ‘Pantyripper’ McCade and Sophie Brooks, have been a part of the previous 3 books, but not to any massive extent, and you know what they always say about the quiet ones....
”Why are you punishing me?”
“For making me want you.”
“If it’s any consolation, I want, you too.”
Another thing I have liked about the books in this series is that each and every character has been different; they have all had their own unique qualities, back-story and issues. Some have been a little deeper than others, but all have been well developed and easy to empathise with.
”Different doesn’t always mean incompatible.”
I felt a massive connection to Sophie; this is a woman who likes to blend into the background, stay out of the limelight and is happier in her own company, rather than that of her peers. She has made a few changes in her life recently, and as a part of that is making more of an effort to come out of her shell and ‘get involved’ more.
Logan as the Best Man is her Brothers best friend and as such has seen Sophie develop from the goofy little-sister into the woman she now is. As such, although he has been tasked in ensuring that she attends and enjoys the planned events for the wedding, Logan has very much put a Sophie-is-off-limits rule in place after discovering she isn’t quite the cute, shy girl he remembered.
”The only chest you’re going to be pressed up against is mine.”
”You can, you know.”
“Can what?”
“Hold on to me.”
I loved the first few chapters of this book, the amount of imaginary fucking and eye fucking that goes on between this couple is drool worthy, and when they do finally get down to it you are not left disappointed.
”It’s like someone kicked my ass and left me for dead.”
”Come on, Soph. I dare you.”
For me, there is nothing more of a turn on in a book boyfriend as one who knows exactly what his woman needs, and gives it too her. Logan does this in spades, and pretty creatively at points, his recognition and acceptance of her lack in confidence, I think is one of the main reasons she then manages to take the big step of actually putting herself ‘out-there’ emotionally after spending so long avoiding any entanglements whatsoever. Sophie struggles massively with body-confidence and due to past hurts struggles with self-esteem as well, Logan uses actions as well as words (filthy-dirty ones at times) to prove to Sophie that he doesn’t see her as anything less than the beautiful, intelligent, worthy woman she is.
”You make me stand up and take notice. And not just because of all these mind-boggling curves wrapped in silk and lace – though I’m certainly not complaining. Your honesty, your sense of adventure, the way you can’t turn down a dare… those things grabbed my attention, and I’ve been captivated ever since.”
”I feel like I can be myself when we’re together,” … “And I’m trying to tell you, you can be yourself, too.”
I am quite sad to be writing this review, not because it hasn’t enjoyed it, but it means that I have reached the end of the series. The Wedding has passed, the champagne drunk, the toasts made and the guests have gone home, and all that is left is the clearing up…
The clearing up for each of these books has been pretty special and the epilogue for Best Man With Benefits closes out the series perfectly. It is my hope that the Entangled team in the future manage to pull together another group of their highly talented authors to provide us with more series like this as each book has been an absolute pleasure to read.
ARC provided by Entangled, and it is my absolute pleasure to provide the above honest review. -
I absolutely loved this one. It was funny, sexy and so sweet that I found myself finishing it and immediately re-reading it. That's how much I loved this book.
Its about Sophie, a shy, socially awkward 20 something year old that feels she's been living a boring and mundane life. Setting three goals for herself, Sophie plans to come out of her shell while at her brother's week long pre-wedding party.
Logan, a workaholic, is determined to give his responsibilities as Best Man top priority. So when his friend asks him to keep an eye on his little sister - knowing she could very well hole up in her room the whole week rather than face the crowds - Logan doesn't think twice about committing.
What follows is an amazing guy and an equally amazing woman finding their special someone with each other. Like I mentioned before, this was a really sweet romance. When I rate a book five stars it's because it was a story I really enjoyed, but also because I fell in love with both the H and h. That was the case here. I can relate to Sophie, with her confidence issues, insecurities, and social hang ups. But I loved that she was brave, loyal, and honest. Logan, oh Logan, it wasn't hard to fall hard for this latest Book Boyfriend. He listened to Sophie's wants, her needs and her fears.
My favorite line:
" Watch closely, so there's no fucking way you can miss how indisputably beautiful you are, because I don't intend to argue about this again. The next time I tell you you're gorgeous, you're going to say, 'Damn right I am.'"
The way he worked tirelessly to chip away at Sophie's fears and doubts was perfect H material. Yes, this was cliche and the best friend's little sister trope has been done countless times, but Sophie and Logan made this version stand out. I highly recommend and will definitely be re-reading again.
Safety: No Cheating, some mild OW drama Ends with a HFN but has an epilogue that solidifies their HEA. This is the last of a five part series. Each book can be read as a stand alone and features a new couple. I haven't read any of the previous ones, and based on the bet and the other women actively pursuing another man (Logan) that is not their H, hints that these wouldn't be for me. -
4 stars
Best man Logan cant help but be attracted to the off limits younger sister of the Groom to be, Sophie. But can he break her out of her shell and prove she is beautiful on the inside and out?
Shy introvert heroines are not normally my favourite type of heroines but Sophie was a cute little thing. Although her insecurities were a bit frustrating at times. Logan was amazing and I loved the confidence he brought out of her. Their ending was cheesy though and a bit cringe-worthy.
This was predictable from the beginning to the very end but I enjoyed their story. I thought it was a little more angst than previous books that could have been avoided. A great wrap up for the gang.

Ok for sex scenes, but I was annoyed with the story.
Early in the book I was thinking “this better not be the reason for the big separation,” but it was. See Spoiler. Aside from that, the events felt like things written in so many other romance novels. It wasn’t new or special or different. This is a short story, half the length of a regular novel.
Some readers may find the following clever and fun, but because I was annoyed with the above, I was not in a mood to enjoy it. Sophie initiated and had sex with Logan while he was on a speaker phone conference call with business associates. The business associates’ comments “we just kept massaging the deal until everyone felt good about it. Do you feel good about it, Logan?...You sound very passionate...So if you look down here at clause ten, you’ll see an example of where we hammered away, and hammered away, until they begged for mercy and gave us what we wanted....I’m sure all the parties will be extremely satisfied. You’re satisfied, aren’t you Logan?” All this while Logan is surreptitiously having sex with Sophie.

4 Sexy McCade Brother Stars!!
I adore Samanthe Beck's fun sexy books and especially the sexy McCade Brothers!! After reading and loving Michael and Trevor's books (I looooove Michael), I was so excited to finally get Logan's book and I was not disappointed!!
Logan is the best man for his best friend Colt who asks him to keep an eye on his shy little sister and try to coax her into participating in the weeklong wedding festivities. It's been awhile since he's seen Sophie so imagine his surprise when the women whose backside is turned to him and he's imagining "kissing, licking, biting, and possibly spanking", the woman that heart shaped ass, belongs to none other than Sophie.
I really liked Sophie, but her body images and lack of self confidence was trying....I get where she was coming from with the way she was treated growing up by not only her peers, a gym teacher and her own blasted mother! But Logan proved again and again (and oh my...the way he proved it was delish!) how much he desired her, even with her weight loss she lacked the confidence in herself that someone like Logan could actually be attracted to her.
Logan is as self assured as all the McCade Brothers, his one flaw is that he's a workaholic, and feels he has to stay in control of his company because his family invested in it. He's already proven to be a success now he just needs to learn to let go and "live his life".
Logan and Sophie finally get it together after some misunderstandings. I loved them for each other, they fit and are great together, I Loved every minute of this novella and we even get the all important epilogue!
I am definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the Wedding Dare novellas

“There’s no rush like you. No business deal. No climb. Nothing compares to being inside you.”
Logan is Colt's best man in the weeding. He’s a successful businessman, but he doesn’t have a life, working all the time. Colton asks Logan a favor, to keep an eye on his little sister, Sophie. Logan knows Sophie, since their college days so when he sees her, he’s amazed how attracted he is to her.“He had enough time to open his eyes, jerk his head up, and watch his best friend's shy, adorable, strictly off-limits little sister annihilate him with the most incredible blow job of his entire life.”
Sophie has had a crush on Logan since she met him years ago. She still is attracted to him. Shy and very insecure, she thinks she’s not good enough for him, but she’s determined to make some changes in her life. She wants to be The New Sophie.
Since both are consenting adults and they are attracted to each other they agree to spent some sexy time together.
Even if it was predictable from the start I enjoyed this one. It was sweet and sexy and like the other books in the series, low in angst and drama.
Logan was fantastic and I really liked how he tries to help Sophie. She’s caring, loving and supportive like all the heroes in this series. I liked Sophie with all her insecurities, even if she’s not really my type of heroine and even if she was frustrating at times. However, I like the fact that she's adventurous.
I really enjoyed the banter between them and their chemistry and the sex scenes are really hot.
Overall, “Best Man With Benefits” was a cute, fun read!

Travelling to Beaver Creek for best man duties, Logan McCade has also been tasked with the job of looking after shy and insecure Sophie Brooks for the week. Making sure that Sophie isn’t going to be a wallflower at her brother’s wedding may be a bigger challenge than he thinks.
Logan is prepared to look after Sophie in more ways than she can imagine.
Hot and sexy is not how Logan remembered Sophie, and she’s worked hard to improve and rid herself of her anxieties. She still has a few self-esteem issues but seems to blossom with the help of Logan.
"Big. I’m big.", Logan’s response …."Beautiful. I can’t wait to touch every inch of you." And every inch he does.
Let’s just say that between the bathroom and the wall sex, it was HOT! Oh, wait there was that amazing conference call too!
This is another great read in the Wedding Dare series, this one by Samanthe Beck. Many best-selling authors have contributed to this series and you can enjoy them all….

Samanthe Beck is an author I have really enjoyed in the past and when I was presented with an opportunity to review this book I jumped at the chance especially since I love the McCade brothers which the author has written about before. Best Man With Benefits is part of a multi-author series set against the backdrop of a wedding.
Sophie Brooks is like a million other women and has body image issues. She is socially awkward, conscious about her breasts and body but she is also changing and challenging herself. In the past few months she has started exercising, has applied for a promotion at work but a meeting with Logan McCade her brother's college roommate and best man turns her into that shy person again.
Logan McCade cannot believe how beautiful grown up Sophie is and it is not because of the braces or hair-cut as Sophie says. From the moment he sees her, he cannot stop himself from admiring her attributes and fantasizing about her, all of which doesn't make him a good friend especially since her brother asked him to ensure that Sophie has a good time at the wedding.
I loved how Logan put Sophie at ease from the start, dressing down when her dressy clothes were misplaced by the hotel and don't get me started on their first time together, that was one hell of a wake-up call Sophie gave to Logan and blew her image of a shy person to hell and then there was this ultra hot scene when Logan was on a conference call. Samanthe Beck can really write some hot scenes as well as put emotion into it.
The romance was made believable despite it all happening in a very short span of time. There were several elements in the book that I enjoyed like Logan trying to make Sophie get past her body issues, Sophie confronting her mother and Logan accepting the fact that in order to live a full life he needed to let go of the control at his company.
Overall I enjoyed the book and will definitely be reading the other books in this series. This book is sizzling.

The Wedding Dare series has come to an end *sniff*, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey. I think the contribution from different authors has helped to encourage diversity in the major storyline, whilst reviewing common situations through differing viewpoints with startling consistency.
I was pleased to enter into Logan’s story, having viewed him from afar in earlier stories. He appears to be workaholic, and a tad aloof, but appearances aren’t what they seem.
Logan McCade was the CEO of his own company; Defy Gravity. This was supposed to be downtime away from his work. Logan had met Colton Brooks (The groom) at college, and had established a firm friendship. He had always teased Colton’s little sister, Sophie, but now Colton had requested an extra Best Man duty; keeping an eye on his sister.
Sophie Brooks was and has been very introverted, very shy. Her attendance at her brother’s nuptials had got her thinking that she needed a re-invention, a 3 step plan to a new Sophie. Especially as her all time crush was there and appearing to be paying her a lot of attention.
Logan couldn’t believe the transformation in Sophie since his college days. He was immediately attracted to her, and felt more than his duty to ensure she enjoyed the pre-wedding frivolities.
The chemistry just dripped off the pages between these two. Sophie definitely gained her confidence around Logan, and he suitably fed them enabling that painful shyness to disappear.
I enjoyed their liaisons, especially Logan’s down and dirty mouth! It was also great to see other interactions with the wedding party from their POV’s, especially given Regan’s initial draw to Logan.
This entire series has been typical of Brazen’s publications, and has delivered, most definitely, to my expectations. If you want steam, if you want swoon, if you want sweet..look no further! -
Aha! The youngest McCade brother gets his story, finally.
So the book starts with Logan seeing the perfect view at the resort's concierge desk and he's like
but then when he approaches the desk, he's shocked to find his best friend's little sister...who's not quite so little anymore.
Sophie Brooks is just so painfully shy it's kind of adorable to watch and well, painful too. It's fun seeing her open up with Logan's help
and thank god we're spared the whole "ugh i want you but you're my best friend's little sister we can't do this *make out* *bangs* i'm sorry this is a mistake" drama that usually comes with this kind of stories. Logan's basically like, "well we're attracted to each other and we're consenting adults so why the hell not let's do this" and it's kind of refreshing.
What else is there to say?
Hmmmmm I'm regretting my decision to read all the books in one night because WHAT DO I DO NOW
Reread: December 2019
This is still cute and also hella sexy. -
When I read my first book by Samanthe Beck, “Private Practice” where Tyler Longfoot finds himself shot in the backside and needs a little doctoring – it was such a fun-to-read and adorably sexy romance. I immediately felt a spark of anticipation that this author was sending something extra-special and highly entertaining my way. I wasn’t wrong. She definitely has a gift for writing sexy books with just the right amount of heat, wit and humor.
Once again, that same spark has ignited into more than I expected. I adored this book. SB has taken a very familiar plot that has been done many times over, but she’s jazzed it up and sprinkled her own blend of magic for a whole new look. And it’s irresistibly delightful!
The benefits package includes: An unfulfilled introvert with a 3-step plan for “getting a life” who’s in love with her older brother’s best friend – of course, she’s strictly off-limits to him. A wedding brings them face-to-face and the combustible chemistry takes over. The shy younger sister has a few surprises in store for Mr. Swoon Worthy, while he’s trying to figure out how to explain to her brother who’s the groom that he’s fallen hard for his little sister who’s a bridesmaid.
It’s all rolled up into one unexpected delight and a genuinely fun-to-read experience.

22/3 - I really enjoyed this book, which makes me excited to read the earlier books in the series as friends who have read all the books (in order I might add) have said that while this one was good it was the least good of the four books. There were some ideas that were a bit unbelievable and seemed poorly thought out, like Sophie's job as a web designer for a sex toy company. This other side of her personality was mentioned a few times and used as the basis for one sex scene but then it went away and didn't seem to make any further impact on her life. It felt like it was thrown in there so Sophie didn't come across as a complete wallflower, probably because it would never be believable that a complete wallflower would behave as she did with Logan after knowing him for such a short length of time. I thoroughly look forward to reading the series from the beginning.

Hot & SEXY.
This was a fabulous collaboration between there authors!! -
1 Wedding. 4 Bridesmaids. 4 Groomsmen. 1 dare
Samanthe Beck has pulled a double whammy with this book; not only is it the conclusion to the fabulous Wedding Dare series, but it's also the third in her McCade Brothers. So the anti has been somewhat upped for poor Logan McCade, as not only has he his fellow groomsmen's standards to live up to, but also his brothers...that's a lot of men.
Every expectation I had, Logan met. Surpassed even. I have always said these men put the Mmmmm in McCade and Logan did exactly that. Kind, witty, patient and with that deliciously dirty streak, I fell in love with him. As I did Sophie. I adored her. She's sweet, funny, has a huge heart and is an introvert. She prefers solitude, is uncomfortable on display with an aversion to large gatherings and struggles with compliments – feelings I understand & can sympathise with and Samanthe Beck wrote her perfectly as with the right person, the confidence comes. They've known each other for years, she's held a torch for him for as many. And when her brother privately asks Logan to keep her occupied on the run up to his wedding, they become occupied in the best possible way...
Their chemistry was sheer perfection and I flitted between sighing, swooning, cringing and laughing; they were that good together. Their passion made my heart-flutter and their intimacy and understanding of one another touching. They are officially one of my favourite Brazen couples. And our boy has inherited the McCade skill with language:
“You need me to strip you naked, bend you over my bed, and slide my c*** inside you until you forget what it feels like not to have me filling you. And once you’ve come so hard you can’t stand, you need me to flip you around, hike your legs over my shoulders, and do it again, head-on, until you scream loud enough to have management banging on the door.”
Let them break the damn door down. I'll even pay for the damage.
This has been an outstanding series and bringing together 5 of my favourite Brazen authors has, for me, been a complete success. Each couple has been special in their own unique way and Samanthe has wrapped it up perfectly. I welled up at the epilogue and must confess I am a little sad that these epically sexy wedding shenanigans are over.
So whether you're intending on reading this as a standalone, as a continuation of the McCade boys series, or the wedding, Best Man with Benefits is a 5 star gem I highly recommend.

4 Groomsman + 4 Bridesmaids = 4 Delicious New Brazen Novels
This is the fourth novel is this wonderful little series that some of the best and hottest Brazen authors have gotten together to write. In the first novella we were introduced to Colt and Kady who discovered their love for each other.
This is now their wedding where love is not only in the air, but is also happening to our 4 hot groomsman and bridesmaids
This is Logan and Sophie's story. Sophie is the incredibly shy and introverted sister of the groom Colt. She has hidden for years behind her insecurities and misses out on the best parts of life due to it. Logan is a self made business man, who founded a successful company which he today runs by himself. He has been so busy running his company for the last few years that he has forgotten what he even started it for. He used to love spending every moment of his life outdoors, rock climbing, hiking etc, but these days he spends more time in his office and boardroom than anywhere else.
When he arrives at the wedding, Colt asks him if he can take Sophie under his wing for the week as he want to make sure she enjoys the wedding, as he knows how shy she is and will probably end up spending most of it in her hotel room.
Logan cant believe how grown up Sophie is and he has to contently remind himself that the lush beauty in front of him is hands off. However the more time he spends with her and the more she comes out of her shell, he realises that there is way more to Sophie than meets the eye, and he is more than happy to spend all his time with her....that is when he is not rushing off to business calls and running his company from afar.
Can the shy and introverted Sophie be enough for the hot workaholic.. Only time will tell in this sweet and hot read.....

4.5 stars
This was my favorite in the series. Love the writing, clever banter, and so much sexiness and hot chemistry between Sophie and Logan! A first read for me by Samanthe Beck and certainly won't be the last. I need to read about the other McCade brothers now.
Sophie Brooks has always been the shy, blend into the background type of girl. She hid behind her baggy clothes to avoid unwanted harassment and judgment from others, especially when it came to her body image. After shedding her unwanted weight, Sophie has resolved to become more adventurous and let the new Sophie do what the old Sophie couldn't. Take chances and take charge in her life.
Logan McCade is a successful entrepreneur and businessman, though he's been all work and no play ever since he started up his own company. As the best man to his best friend's wedding, Logan is willing to take up any task asked of him. Even if it means trying to distract and make Sophie come out of her shell. Sophie has certainly blossomed into a beautiful woman and the duty he's been tasked with may involve a little more than watching Sophie.
I love seeing the growth in Sophie's confidence with herself. She has moments of wavering but what female doesn't with her own body. There wasn't much drama in this one except for near the end but resolved quickly which I enjoyed. Definitely a fun, sexy read. -
4 stars, I love these stories, they are fairly predictable, but they are fun and hot and sweet.
Logan is our hot-guy, rock climber
he's drowning in work, having no time for family or fun or much of a personal life. He heads up to his best friend's wedding and runs into
Sophie
sexy, painfully shy, insecure and totally-best-friend's-little-sister-off-limits
There was nothing earth-shattering here, but the characters were well-developed for such a quick read, there were a few laugh out loud moments, some hotness, some sweetness, and yes there was a face-palm moment in there as well.
Overall, super cute. -
Mir gefällt es echt gut das die Geschichten zeitglich spielen... Man hat teilweise die gleichen Konversationen aus der Sicht von zwei Personen gelesen und das in 2 verschiedenen Büchern

Unexpected. If I could sum up Best Man with Benefits by Samanthe Beck in one word, that word would have to be "unexpected". After briefly becoming acquainted with protagonists Logan McCade and Sophie Brook in the three preceding novels in the Wedding Dare series, I had certain expectations about these two characters, but I soon discovered that there was more beneath the surface of both Sophie and Logan than I could have imagined. I was thrilled to find in Sophie and Logan a heroine with whom readers can identify and a hero worthy of the title. The fact that these two characters have particularly creative imaginations when it comes to all things bedroom-related is just an added bonus.
Logan is the third McCade brother I've gotten to know and grown to love, and he just might be my favorite of the bunch because he is also more than he appears to be at first glimpse. Not only is he a CEO with a taste for adventure, but he somehow manages to be both incredibly sweet and unfailingly sexy, commanding the attention of every room he enters. Sophie, on the other hand, is his complete opposite, with her self-deprecating and shy nature compelling her to prefer disappearing into the background. On paper, a relationship between them shouldn’t work, yet their sizzling chemistry would suggest otherwise. The forbidden aspect of Logan having X-rated fantasies starring his best friend’s younger sister only enhances the sheer eroticism of their intimate encounters.
While Sophie proves herself capable of being a take-charge, no-holds-barred seductress, she starts off almost painfully awkward – so much so that whenever I was reading the narrative through her perspective, there were many times I vicariously experienced her embarrassment. Unlike those heroines in certain romance novels who fail to recognize their obvious beauty, she has genuine issues with her body image, which become apparent as Logan attempts to strip down her barriers. I appreciated the fact that the author confronted these issues at length, never shying away from the realness of the situation, no matter how uncomfortable it may be. Sophie is a heroine that I felt a deeper connection to because of the fact that she is so thoroughly bared, both emotionally and physically, and Logan is her perfect counterpart in her journey to self-discovery. -
As my first book by Samanthe Beck, I was really looking forward to meeting a McCade. I heard a lot about how sexy they are and wanted to see for myself. I was glad I took the chance because I discovered that I enjoyed Beck’s writing style as well as her cute, but feisty heroine and sexy and sophisticated hero.
Sophie Brooks is completely off limits to Logan McCade. As his best friend’s little sister, Logan doesn’t want Colton to come after him with a bat. However, Sophie remains to be a temptation that Logan cannot resist. As Logan tries to balance his work life with his personal life, he finds himself leaning towards the one distraction that doesn’t make him feel so guilty, but just happy instead.
Beck weaves a fun and flirty story that is great for the summer! With it’s cute and funny parts interwoven with its more sexier moments, there’s a lot to love with BEST MAN WITH BENEFITS. Not only do the characters seem fun and inviting, but there is quite a lot of depth to them as well.
One of the cool things about this series is the fact that it’s written by various authors who have intermingling scenes and characters. While I didn’t read all the books in this series, I still believe that you can enjoy each one on its own. However, reading them all would allow for a more richer experience.
After reading this book, I will definitely be checking out Beck’s backlist to devour more of her hot heroes. If this book is any indication of what to expect, then I’m sure I’ll have a lot of fun reading ahead of me!

My favorite of this series... Poor Sophie was so shy and unsure till Logan taught her confidence and ultimately Love... The hijinks In this series and telling from all parties perspective made this such a fun series.
-
Logan was definitely a lot hotter than what I was expecting. Sophie was cute. Her insecurities got on my nerves sometimes but that is real life. We never expect good things for ourselves.
Very cute story :) -
4 1/2 stars (rounded up to 5 stars, because the belt scene was... YOWZA!)
