Had this book for a year now for Owen and just now getting around to reading it to him right before he turns 2. The cover has a nice soft one on it that he enjoys feeling. The book is broken out into 5 stories with little poems in between them. The illustrations are colorful and the text is nice and big. Would recommend for one or two year olds to enjoy being read to at nighttime.

Okay, I like the IDEA here. But these stories are not especially geared for one-year-olds... more appropriate for toddlers, honestly. Stories are too long, and none of them are very good. Honestly, just pick out a half dozen board books at random and you're likely to get much better results, PLUS baby will actually be able to hold book and turn pages, not to mention chomp on it. Disappointing, I am sorry to say.
