Keira
I was born with darkness in my veins.
My name is Keira Hill. I’m the daughter of one of the country’s most notorious serial killers.
I hide in plain sight. Pretending to fit in. Pretending I’m not haunted by my father’s skeletons.
In two months’ time, he’s scheduled to be executed.
With a copycat killer on the loose, my world is turned upside down when I find myself at the center of the killer’s twisted mind games—the queen on the chess board.
If I want to win, I must embrace my own darkness.
The legacy I have spent my life running from.
I must play the game.

King
It started out as a silly dare. Fuck Jimmy Hill’s daughter. But it quickly morphed into something far more.
Especially now that Blackwoods is terrorized by a vicious serial killer who has his eyes on Keira, the girl who’s quickly slithering inside my veins.
I’m the only one who sees her—the only one who knows how to purge her darkness. The only one twisted enough to match it with my own and offer it back in spades.
The only problem? Keira belongs to someone else.
As if that will ever stop me.

Sinister Legacy Reviews

Well…that was the first erotic novel I have read and it didn’t disappoint. Harleigh is quickly becoming my new favourite author. I will say this book made me uncomfy at times but I expected nothing less considering the genre.

  • RavenOfTheSea

“Don’t hold back on me, baby. I want all of you— the good and the bad. I want the angel and the demon, got it?”

    5/5 5/5🌶️

Let me start with the most important part which is King being the star of this book. Is it the King as name? Is it like a secret ingredient of success? I'm not an expert, just a reader but boy did I love King. He was every bit of unhinged, devious and possessive I needed!

This book had me second guessing every couple pages. The story was alluring with so many twists and secrets. This is horror X dark romance. I was surprised to find multiple povs. It was so exciting and them being fully unreliable was just cherry on top.

The atmosphere of this book, the suspense and the plot were so good. It depends a lot on the surprise element, so there isn't much to be said in a review. But top this with unhinged spice, crazy characters and plot twists and you have a great read!

There were so many characters that I loved and some that I hated. King and Keira were awesome to read!

Let me just state that none of my guesses were correct.

Did I like it? Yes. It was so fun.
Would I reread it? Yes. I want to find the hints that I've missed.

    DNF 40%

I'm too old for this book, but that doesn't take away from how bad it is.

These are high school students. Teenagers. Being raped by each other and the adults in their lives, being manipulated, everyone in a relationship is cheating with multiple other people - it's really just child porn. However, even if the author would've aged up the characters to college; it's still not a good book.

Add in, this is supposed to be an erotic HORROR novel. To qualify for the horror part of that, there needs to be more blood, body horror, SOMETHING! If the same amount of detail went into the horror aspect as into the erotica - then maybe it would qualify and actually be a gruesomely fun read.

Think WISH Scream + TEMU Cruel intentions. Only the killer(s) are OBVIOUS from the moment they are introduced.

To be clear, I am a huge fan of erotic horror. The more messed up, depraved, and nausea inducing - the better.

If you want any substantial horror with your erotica, this ain't it.

♕ 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐂𝐘 ♕ Is a full length erotic horror novel, with imperfect fictional characters by 'new' to me author Harleigh Beck. Spoken in 'multiple POV's'

One read over that blurb and I had to get my hands on this..New to me author..Crave the dark, so I can't wait to see what this author will throw my way!!

    Buckle up buttercups..

Welcome to 'Backwoods' where the daughter of a notorious killer resides. She was seven when her whole world imploded. And now her father's execution date is heading our way and things are heating up again in this neighbourhood..

Everyone wants a piece of her, to rub shoulders with the legendary killers daughter, she keeps to herself, prefers to be hidden in the shadows and keeps her circle relatively small, her quarterback boyfriend, and a best friend.

    Everyone has a secret...

King Knight the bad boy, who had an fixation with our heroine, he'd had his eye on her for years, taking photos to feed his obsession. Abiding his time until he claimed her as his..

These characters were unashamedly messy, they cheated, they lied, they killed without remorse.

Get ready for one crazy ride..I really needed to buckle myself in and brace myself for the turbulent ride this took me on! Twists and heart stopping turns. Expect the unexpected, this was gritty, and definitely a horror story, the body count and missing persons kept me entertained and guessing throughout! Unputdownable and unpredictable.

My first erotic horror . . . and while I mostly skimmed over the gory parts, author Harleigh Beck sure knows how to show a dark romance reader a good time. 😂

As long as we get to howl beneath the full moon, the world is safe from us.
Wildly deviant situations and kinks abound - all of which involve serious triggers so please be aware.

It isn’t often you come across a book that sets an unparalleled precedence, leaving its mark on you well after you’ve turned the final page. Sinister Legacy is a work of art from author Harleigh Beck, and has become my benchmark for all er0tic horror I have and will continue to read in the future. With some serious 90s slasher and romance vibes— only more twisted than one could imagine— this book is everything I hoped it would be and more.

The quiet town of Blackwoods is the backdrop for history repeating itself, where a copycat k!ller wreaks havoc on the town’s students. Everyone is involved in everyone’s business, and the currency of choice is dirty secrets. Obsession, jealousy, narcissism, lust – the perfect concoction to set everyone on edge, just waiting to see who the next unlucky victim will be.

I won’t be speaking about the plot in depth at all, because this is a novel best read and not spoken about. Keira Hill, daughter of one of the most notorious serial k!llers takes center stage, and everything that occurs seems to revolve around her. This story is the perfect showcase that everyone has their own darkness lurking within, just waiting to breach the surface. And when that darkness emerges, chaos ensues.

Beck has perfected this rollercoaster ride that blends cringeworthy, horrifying gore with sinfully depraved smut. You won’t find any sweet romance within…it’s filthy, violent, often bloody and bruised. Keira finds the one person whose demons can match her own, and King Knight is a force to be reckoned with. When these two come together it’s nothing short of obscene. But King has his own secrets tucked away just waiting to rear their ugly heads.

So, we tag along an incredible journey of whodunit mystery, and I can honestly admit I had no clue who the copycat was. Every time I thought I was getting close, Beck would flip the script and surprise me yet again. Nothing is as it seems, and be prepared to be led on a wild chase for the truth. It’s one you won’t be able to forget.

I don’t think there are words to explain how much I loved this book. With spooky season right around the corner, this is one you need to keep on your radar. While I’ve read several books from Beck in the past, this is the one that has secured her spot on my very small list of favorite writers. Just incredible, mind-blowing, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.

  • Britt

Harleigh, this was insane and I'm not gonna lie, I fucking loved this insanity. I needed it. The way I consumed, or maybe I was the one consumed?, this book was absolutely sinful. I have so many thoughts and feelings on this book and can't find the proper words to express in a review. The characters were an unbalanced mix of crazy, grief, deranged, treachery, and carnal lust. This was written so much like a movie plays out, and I can't believe all the twists, let alone the last few chapters! Mind. Fucking. Blown.🤯

If this book was a puzzle I was slowing piecing it together while devouring every chapter, every POV, I was in full blown suspicious mode, trust nobody! My pieces were matching, but what kept me hooked what that little seed of doubt that I had with the full picture, I had the edges laid out… but those middle pieces weren’t fitting together.

Then BOOM! Turns out I was building the wrong freakin puzzle.

    “𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙖 𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙣’𝙩 𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙚.”

I think this one redefined erotic horror for me. It’s definitely erotic, there’s a lot of Kiera to go around and everyone is a little obsessed with the cereal k!llers daughter 😉 but in between those moments there’s lots of secrets, affairs, bloodshed, this town is practically a Netflix show waiting to happen.

“𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙮𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙤 𝙩𝙤𝙭𝙞𝙘, 𝙨𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣’𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨.”

When horror kicks in I’m on edge, and then the spice heats up I’m on a different edge, then games get played, someone dies, sometimes more than one and I’m left with an odd craving for the unknown killer, I’ve no idea in what way so don’t ask, all I know is that as soon as that Unknown text popped up my heart raced.

“𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚,”

And by the end… my mind and heart were absolutely battered, the twists just kept coming, I thought games were being played before, now they’re coming left right and centre. I felt like an owl needing to do a 360 head spin to see everything that was going on.

‘Nothing is as it seems’ said the killer, you’re freakin telling me.

“𝘼𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙠, 𝙄 𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙗 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛•𝙘𝙠 𝙝𝙚𝙧.”

This was my first book by Harleigh Beck and it did not disappoint! I was hook and shooketh from the start! Literally my jaw was dropping during every chapter 🫨 I absolutely loved it! This was also my first erotic horror novel and it definitely lived up to that in more ways than one! All the secrets and depravity that come to light when there’s a killer on the loose had me GLUED to this book, I couldn’t put it down. King and Kiera’s relationship was sweet because that man was obsessed and he was not letting anything get in his way of being with his girl 👏🏽. I had, what I like to call thriller romance anxiety, where that suspense was getting me! It’s when I knew the killer was gonna strike again and the secrets revealed would blow my mind 🫨. And when everything was revealed 🤯 I was SHOOK cause while I had suspicions I DEFINITELY didn’t see it coming!

*DEFINITELY CHECK TW/CW!!* this is an erotic horror novel and there may be some things that are uncomfortable for you.

  • Raven Badini

This book was everything it promised to be and more! I could get over the fact that it takes place in high school (even though the themes are 18+) because it was so damn good. It felt like I was binge watching a series and I couldn’t stop watching! So good. Check your TWs as always 💚

*insert gif of lady calculating* yeah, that was me the entire time reading this book.

this is my book intro to this author and it definitely won’t be my last. there’s just something about horror romances and it honestly hits different, and to add that slasher element to it? yeah, i love it.

although i didn’t trust anyone from the beginning (thank you trust issues), i was still quite shocked at who the unaliver really was, lol. you think you know, but then you don’t. it just keeps you guessing.

this story really gripped me from the beginning and man what a thrill. oh, there’s also cheating in this, and despite it wanting to pull my hair out and *makes strangling motion with hands*, i quite enjoyed it.

erotic, suspenseful, thrilling, and delightfully dark. i definitely recommend this book and would be perfect for your fall, spooky reads.

    *ARC for honest review.

  • Sam Cimolai

Thank you to Harleigh Beck for letting me be one of your ARC readers. My review is not influenced by this.

Okay so I knew I was going to like this book but I didn’t know I was going to LOVEEEEE this book.

This was the first book that I have read by Beck and I will definitely be reading the rest of her work!

I honestly have no idea how I can even begin to express what I was feeling while I was reading this!

We were given so so many different POV’s which made the character development absolutely amazing. I loved getting to know all the characters not just through the eyes of the MCs.

King is definitely going to be one of my all time favorite book boyfriends. I could not get enough of his obsession with Keira. Yes he’s a stalker. Yes he’s a murderer. Yes he’s psychotic. Yes I’m in love with him. (Yes this is also prob not healthy)

The suspense had me not physically able to put my kindle down. I needed to know what was going to happen next. I absolutely flew through this book in less than a day.

And the ending… I can’t even put into words how much I want to go back and read this for the first time again just to feel what I felt then.

If you want a book that’s fast paced, has you on the edge of your sweet, makes you forget your morals, has you guessing, and is hotter than the grounds of hell itself, then this is your book.

Please please please check the Trigger Warnings!

This read like a low budget horror film. It's like the author watched all the Scream films and decided to write a knock-off version. It wasn't like, terrible, but just bad I think. The author was right in her author note when she said the characters were unlikable. Kierra was so annoying. There were a lot of contradictions in the book. I wish Harleigh explored the relationship between Kierra and her father more. We were told about it, but I think it was one of the more interesting parts of the story and it could've been made stronger. Harleigh could've pushed more emotionally on this, and I think it would've elevated the book from something kitschy.
At first, I didn't like how we got more than Kierra and King's POV. I didn't understand why we needed it, and I wish we were more focused on Kierra and King's POV. I talked with my friend about it (who also got an ARC), and she loved it because she felt it gave the book more depth and roundness to the horror element of the story. She reminded me that this was horror erotica, not romance, so it makes sense that the story isn't focused on Kierra and King's romantic relationship. So, I get that now. But I think the multiple POVs is what made it feel like a Scream rip-off.
I had some logistics issues while reading.

It'd like to read more of Harleigh Beck to see if this was just a fluke for me.

“Baby, I’m gonna bury your boyfriend. You sure you wanna be there to watch it?”

So, this was my first Harleigh Beck book and I WAS NOT disappointed. It had everything I could want in a twisted erotic horror slasher read. It’s got a lot of trigger and content warnings so make sure you read them first before even cracking this bad boy open. Do not ignore them, start the book, and then complain about the content. It’s gory, dark as hell, twisted and delicious. With that being said let’s get into it.
Jimmy Hill, serial killer of Blackwoods, is on death row with his execution day fast approaching. In the weeks leading up to this a copy cat killer emerges with Jimmy Hills daughter, Keira, as their focus. Little do they know Keira has a darkness of her own, that she’s spent her life controlling.
Enter King Knight. 🥵🥵 He’s marvellous in the ways that all us effed up girlies love. Possessive. “Touch her and die.” Accepting. And he has a darkness all his own. It calls to Keira and her darkness. Together their hidden depravities play well together.

Every time I thought I had this figured out, I didn’t. It’s so well written and twisty. I loved it. Theres lies and deceptions and character developments you don’t even see coming. Yes, I will read it again. This book feeds my need for deliciously dark smut and content. Keira’s character is so well written I could feel her emotions and internal struggles throughout reading. The book hooks you in this great way where I was living the story. It felt like watching a movie. I could easily visualize everything happening. Also, it has a great ending. I wasn’t left wondering about anything (no loose ends) and I wasn’t left wanting. I was very happy with the whole experience. EXTREMELY SATISFIED.

    5 stars all around Harleigh.

Grabbed me by the throat and squeezed deliciously! It has such a hold on me I loved it! Such a imaginative world and characters make this such a fantastic immersive read! I didn’t want to stop reading it! The spice was amazing and the horror was superb. Kiera, Liam, Cassie, King, etc felt so real and relatable in their own ways. If you want to be ravished by a book this one is for you! I want to reread it immediately! This was an arc and I’m voluntarily leaving this review.

That's a fuck load of sex.
What to say about this one...It's long. Picked for the halloween trend I'm on this month. There's a lot going on and some of it did get a bit tedious. The murderers were reminiscent of Scream queens. Separate to that is the sorta love triangle, along with betrayal and cheating. So much cheating. Why? It felt like every scenario was put in place just to try and justify their deaths.

The beginning confused me with the first page. Why so many names under Keira and King? Because its not just their story and everyone got a say. Too many names. It got easier to follow after they dwindled.

The story had everything thrown in along with the kitchen sink including, murder, kinks, MM, FF, plenty of MF, attempted rape, possessive crush, dangerous boyfriend. taunting. Poking the bear, being railed by the stepfather. On and on it goes. So yeah, sex, trying to avoid becoming her father and failing miserably, predictable killers and more sex.

  • Gina

This is my first book by Harleigh Beck, and my first erotic horror. I definitely found a new genre to read! Keira’s father is a serial unaliver, who is about to be executed. With the execution date close, a new copy cat wants to play. Keira is the sole focus, being taunted over and over again. This book gave me 90’s Scream vibes… but everyone (and I mean everyone) is f#€king. Multiple times I picked my jaw up off the floor! The spicy scenes were so hot!! There’s a spicy scene for everyone in this book! If you like MM,FF, MF, dub con, knife play, primal, 🍑 play, you’re in for some serious treats! This book is filled with unaliving. Between trying to figure out who was next, who the k!ller was, and all the spice, I couldn’t put this book down!

  • El

I found this read enthralling and while not in the typical voice I have enjoyed in the past I definitely enjoyed the switch. This is one talented author and a great book. I found the characters enjoyable and didn't want to put the book down!

I was awarded the chance to read this as an arc reader and now that I have had the time to come home due to some health concerns I can leave a proper review.

Harleigh packs this work full of steam, suspense, danger, and lust that you simply cannot ignore. With well thought out characters and a thorough plot you will be swiftly taken on an adventure with a book that you do not want to put down. I was on the edge of my seat literally the whole time and this is all I can say without giving it all away - add this to your TBR you will not regret it!!!

  • Felicia

Sinister Legacy by Harleigh Beck is an erotic horror romance.

This is the first book of Harleigh's that I have read, and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The chemistry between King and Keira was off the charts. Their relationship is toxic and messy but also perfect for each other. I loved that we got so many characters points of views throughout the book. It really helped bring the story to life.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, erotic romances, horror romances, or stalker romances.

This book is definitely not for everyone so please check the warnings before diving into the book.

  • Amanda P

Dark and depraved in the best way 😈

Before you start this book, you need to understand that everyone is truly psychotic… morals aren’t really a thing… and this will not be a safe space for anyone. Cool with that? Then you’re good to go!

This is one of those dark romances that you will just inhale. The ‘who dunnit’ elements and the constant character shifts, make it impossible to find an easy place to stop.

I love when dark romance actually has a strong plot. Like I spent most the book trying to work out who the copycat killer is (and failed even though I was sure I’d worked it out!)

And the smut. This is like full on knife play and primal play from the outset. These are characters that get off on degradation and pain. If that’s not your vibe, I suggest you run. Also read the triggers, there are quite a lot of non-con moments and figures of authority taking advantage.

And KING KNIGHT. I’m just going to ignore that fact he’s a high schooler (in my mind, all these characters are in their late twenties 🤣). But god, he’s worthy of the book boyfriend hall of fame. Stalker vibes. Obsessive. Completely encourages the FMC to give into her demons. Tatted. I’m was sold!

Overall, I think if you like H D Carlton, Shantel Tessier and Penelope Douglas sorts of book, you will like this!

  • K

deranged characters make me feel seen like you have a few screws loose??? so do i. i fear king knight is a top 5 book boyfriend now bc every time he was mentioned, i felt a heartbeat in between my legs. rich tatted up mentally unstable men are literally my type, pls pray for my parents xoxoxo

  • Samantha

This book. God damn. This was dark, depeaved & deliciously sinful. Filled with obsession, deceit, lies, degradation, & the spice.. I think this even made me blush 👀🥵
This is an erotic horror.. we see a lot of unaliving. So please check those triggers. There is quite a bit that happens on page that is not for the faint hearted. But, wow!! This is my favourite Harleigh book by far. It completely dragged me in, kept me wanting more, had me questioning myself. This is unhinged at its best!! The insanity 🤯

Keira is the daughter of a convicted serial killer. A decade later, we are almost at the anniversary of her fathers first kill and his execution. A copycat killer wearing a red devil mask starts to pick off people that are connected with her, whilst playing games with her.
Keira has no choice but to play along, all whilst trying to navigate a relationship she in unhappy with, friendships and also trying to keep the growing feeling of darkness inside her at bay.
Keira is dating the small towns star QB, hes ‘safe’ and gives her life a sense of normality. When King comes along and lets his darkness play with hers. Im gone. On my knees for this guy. King Knight was.. fuuuuuu. No words. He had me drooling. I loved EVERYTHING about him. He encouraged the devil on her shoulder. The level of obsession we get. I would let him ruin me!!

This played out like a movie as I turned the pages. The killers hidden identity was like a riddle I was continuously trying to figure out, but every time I thought id cracked it (with reasons) Harleigh killed them off! The fear was real at times, if it was a movie id of def jumped more than once. There were so many WTAF moments. So much of it was unexpected. The twists and turns this took had me giving up adulting all together so I could read! I didnt want to put this down. Highly recommend.

  • Laura (lady_h_reads)

I’m the daughter of a monster. Deep inside me, waiting and watching, lurks the same evil that runs through my father’s veins. I’m a monster in my own right.

    A five-star plus read!

My initial thought upon finishing this book was, “Wow!” I was immediately hooked from the first chapter and drawn into the wicked ways of Keira and King. The smut is excellent, and it is balanced by a strong plot and characters. I loved the mix of horror with dark romance. It was so well done.

We were warned not to expect a Prince Charming out of King, but he turned out to be even better. Who wants a man to rescue the damsel in distress when you can have one who would burn the world down for her? He was dark and delicious and a true scene-stealer. I loved how his darkness called to Keira’s and how he made her feel complete, how he awakened and tamed her monster.

I am a massive fan of books written in multiple POVs – it gives depth to the story you would miss when limited to only the MC’s POV—Harleigh’s treatment made for an immersive reading experience. While this is a romance, the horror of a copycat killer terrorizing their small town and how everyone is caught in a web of obsession for the daughter of a serial killer are still a considerable part of the story. The other character’s voices need to be heard.

This is a fast-burn and incredibly spicy read. So many darker kinks are explored, including primal play and NC/CNC. It is a MF romance but does contain some mild MM and FF.

A fabulous read; I highly recommend it to lovers of dark romance.

    Genre: Dark Erotic Horror Romance
Tropes/Features: Copycat killer, serial killer's daughter, jealous and possessive MMC, morally gray characters, violence and gore, kinks (primal play, NC/CNC), unlikable characters
Narrator: Multiple 1st Person POV (including POVs from side characters)
Relationship Type: MF, fast burn, incredibly spicy (kinks galore)
    Book Type/Ending: Standalone with HEA
TW/CW: This is a very dark romance. TW/CW are available at

This book follows Kiera Hill who is the daughter of a notorious serial killer who is set to be executed in a few months. Kiera very much likes to keep to herself, but with her quarterback boyfriend and being around the popular kids that’s kind of hard for her. She doesn’t let people in easily. ⁣
With that execution date approaching, a copy cat serial killer starts murdering people who are associated with Kiera in some way. Whether it be big or small. Nobody is safe. ⁣

King Knight is our notorious bad boy. He’s obsessed with Kiera and ends up taking a dare from his friends to sleep with her. That quickly turns into something more between the two. I absolutely loved him. ⁣

“𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐱. 𝐒𝐡𝐞’𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐠, 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.”⁣

Get ready for a one crazy ride with this book. There’s cheating, killing, lies & betrayals and all kinds of drama. This is definitely an erotic horror, and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time while reading but I loved every second. And the spice?!😮‍💨🔥 so good. ⁣

Have I just read my favourite Harleigh Beck's? From a genre I'm not used to reading at all? YES I HAVE.

I am once more speechless at what the author has done with this story. It was my first full horror novel and I have to admit I struggled with one of the first scenes. This book doesn't hold back. It is brutal, it is twisted, it is dark and it is scary. Oh and gore. So yeah, you should read it 😂

I suspected every single one of the characters at some point in the story, it keeps you guessing. And when you think you've guessed, your suspect dies in the next scene yay! Until you get to THE PLOT TWIST and you're like......what on earth have I just read? I must have read something wrong? Are you serious? And then you realise you don't even know how to feel anymore because the characters are all insane and you find yourself caring for absolute psychos.

So yeah......I'm scarred for life and my mind feels like someone has played with my brain and now my neurons are not connected like they should be.

I know all this sounds more like a "stay away from the book" than anything, but only the right people will understand 😈

My first horror book, and even though it was chaotic, it was enjoyable! Lots of characters and moving parts, blood and gore.

I want to start this off by saying I was a little skeptical going into this one with it being my first erotic horror genre. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised by this unhinged slasher/romance story! I absolutely loved it! The story itself had depth and I was always guessing who the killer could be. Twist and turns kept me on my toes and the spice scenes were drool worthy!!!! Harleigh certainly knows how to write a good story with LOTS of delicious spice! There are lots of characters points of view in this story and that worried me at first but it was easy to keep up with everyone’s story. It was just the type of dark and deranged read that I was craving 😈

Don’t even get me started on King Knight 🥵 If anyone finds a man like that send him my way. He was all kinds of dark and disturbed in the best way!! Thank you Harleigh for writing such a wicked horror story that I very much loved reading! I will definitely be reading more of Harleigh’s work! 😍 This may not be for everyone due to the multiple trigger warnings but if you’re feeling like a dark, disturbed horror story with lots of suspense and promiscuous teenagers then this may be for you! 😉

    Holy fork balls!!

This is probably the first book in a while that has kept me guessing all the way through till the end. Every single time I thought I knew who it was I really would have to question if I was reading the book correctly.

This is hot, it's twisted, it's suspenseful, it wastes absolutely no time jumping straight into the thick of it all. By chapter 4 I was 100% locked-in and already gasping for air.

Keira is the daughter of a notorious murderer, whose execution is mere months away. With her father's legacy hanging over her she simply goes through the motions of life, until a copy cat murderer challenges Keira's dark side to come out.

Just, yes. Everything about this.... Yes.
