You Are My Baby: Ocean Reviews
-
These are the third and fourth books in this board book series which pairs a larger board book with an inset small book. The larger book has the images of the adults with the story, and the small book has the images and noises of the babies. The pages turn independently and work best when you have small hands helping you. Sturdy and with the fun aspect of mixing and matching, these books are beautifully designed with very accessible illustrations.

My husband remarked how crazy it is that as old as books are, we're still innovating, especially the format of board books! Love how this book is physically two books in one, that a parent and child could turn the pages of their own books together.

This book is adorable and lovely. I love how the book is structured and made. The illustrations are so cute as well as the story. I saw this at the store and I would have bought it if the spine wasn't falling apart. The book shows different animals and their babies.

This is an adorable book for toddlers and young children to learn about ocean babies and what they are called. It is easy to read and the pictures are cute.

Brimming with bright collage illustrations, this board book is really two books in one. Readers can turn the pages of the larger book or the smaller one to match the baby and the adult while learning a little bit about starfish, whales, and fish, all animals found in the ocean. Anyone with a little one will want to own all the books in this series.
-
Cute series featuring a book-within-a-book. The illustrations have some textures which give them some depth. My daughter loves matching up the big animals with their babies. (This one did split on us which seems to be a danger with the way the little book is cut out. Nothing some tape won't fix.)

I liked the dual pages, one for small hands and the other for larger. My son, almost two, enjoys turning the smaller pages as I read to him. I do not know of the lasting sturdiness since the proportions seem out of balance, and would be cautious after heavy use.

Baby ocean animals book, but has odd flaps, almost as if it is a smaller book and a larger book. William found playing with this fun, but it didn't enhance the experience of reading the text.
-
Very cute board book, but I can see it falling apart easily.
-
Mama read this to me after a nap. I helped turn the pages of the little book inside! Afterwards, Mama made up a sentence similar to the story to describe me as her baby!
-
Different take on the board book format.
-
Wonderful idea of smaller book inset into bigger so that little hands can turn appropriate size pages while adult turn larger one & reads.
-
Really cute but hard to hold while holding a little one.
