Sometimes even the T.V. weatherman looks good.

One fateful day however, her husband grabs the wrong Kindle on the way to work, and discovers some of Wendy's more "interesting' fantasies.

Unbeknownst to Wendy, Frank is very keen to fulfil every one of her secret desires.

What Wendy Wants Reviews

First of all I have to say my husband is in no way a reader, in fact if it isn't a catalog chances are he wont be perusing it any time soon. However after I finished reading this book I had to go running and dive on his lap squealing "Honey you have to read this it is so us" and as the girls know I tend to be indulged in whatever wild, hair brained idea comes to my mind so he promptly sat and read the book. After he finished I sat him at his computer and said now write a review for it. He thought he was doing this for shits and giggles so he happily sat and searched for pictures and lines he liked until I told him I planned to publish it at which point he spent the next 3 hours freaking out and making it perfect. So here it is. I hope you all enjoy a male, non readers opinion as a nice change of pace and feel free to drop him some comments of encouragement.

    Matthew’s Review

This Book was almost as if i was reading my personal diary from the month that was ...... Every page I found myself nodding and agreeing and if i wasn't doing that I felt my eyes go a little wider and my right hand rubbing the inside of my thigh of it's own accord and yeah there was a little stroking of the shaft going on...

I found myself putting myself in Franks shoes, finding the kindle, cracking the code, reading my partners thoughts and what would i do ............... After jumping up and down and air punching the sky thanking the lord for giving me an awesome wife and mother to my children, wrapped up in an amazing pair of hips and a great set of breasts that wants to experiment with toys and sensations, I to would do my husband duties and make her fantasy into a reality. And if that meant she wanted to be dominated, spanked and have an array of sex toys used on her, while making her have multiple orgasms .....................................

............ Well damn it, I'm gonna do it ..... Or die with the biggest fucking smile on my face trying.

Highlight of this book for me was .... the countdown from the Wednesday to the big night when frank was going to use everything he has researched to make it rain orgasms, and not just with his hands and tongue like us mere males, but just using words or a sharp look, he had Wendy dripping wet and panting for more of everything she had before.

The last section of the book I found myself almost chanting Frank's name out loud with him going all caveman whisking Wendy over his broad shoulders, walking over to the bed, getting himself comfortable and placing Wendy over his knee exposing her tight, bare, trembling with fear and excitement, arse to take her punishment spanks

If your hunting a book that can, depending on your gender, get you hard in the jeans, or require a slippery when wet sign attached to the front of your panties these 78 pages will be sure to achieve your objective, and I challenge the readers to not find there right hand amusing itself on yourself while you are reading this short story. And to all the men that elect to give this fantastic short book a read there is a line frank uses that I for one will officially take on as one of my own chest thumping bedroom one liners.

    *Spoilers*

I really enjoyed this book. What Wendy Wants is about a couple, Frank and Wendy who have been married for years with 3 kids who's love life has become stale. That all changes when Frank grabs his wife's kindle by mistake and see what she is reading. This book was super sweet, fun and sexy. Wendy seemed like a real and down to earth everyday house wife. I liked Wendy as a character, but Frank is who really made this book for me. I don't know why but this is how I see Frank in my Head!

     photo sexy-nerd_zpsc4ad6828.jpg

I loved Frank, the sexy nerdy Senior Forensic Accountant. Caring, sweet, loyal, open minded and sexy as hell. I love the way he reacts when he reads where his wife left off in her kindle, the way he decides that he is going to give her what she wants and needs after figuring out that she is unhappy with their love life. It was too freaking funny how he turned it into a project with a chart, notes, research and analysis
    Spanking 76%
    Submitting 65%
    Hair pulling 57%
    Neck/nape bite/nuzzle 55%
    Bondage 55%
    Oral (giving) 51%
    Oral (receiving) 46%
    Blindfold 30%
    Nipple biting/pinching/clamps 30%

And when he goes to act out all he has learn Oh God was he hott, but still ever the sexy nerd he watched and analyzed all her reactions to what he was doing.

This book was great it touches on a problem a lot of married couples face after years together in a real, but funny way. If more husbands did like Frank there would be a lot of satisfied women in the world. I will leave you with one of my favorite quotes for the book.

"Tonight I'm not going to simply put you in the mood. I'm going to make you scream- over and over again."

This was a short but really sweet and super hot book about a married couple who had lost their spark. After a mix up of kindles one day, Frank learns his wife Wendy has been reading erotic romance which also leads him to the realization that he's been missing her signs that their sex life has been lacking. So what does he do? He researches all her favorites and devises a plan to reestablish that spark! It was refreshing to read a book about an established and committed couple who, though they were in a sexual slump, worked and communicated, albeit nervously at first, to make sure that the relationship could become strong again. For such a short book, it packed a big punch! I loved it!

  • Karen111

Wendy is a married mother of three children, and although she still loves and fancies her husband, their sex life has gone stale. Cue lots of erotic books and masturbation on Wendy's part!

Her husband, Frank, accidentally reads her Kindle, and sees all the books that she's read, and all the highlights she's made. Vowing to heed the words and reignite their sex life, he goes all out to seduce her.

The seduction itself was sweet, sexy and romantic, but was ruined by Frank's verbal analysis of everything he was doing to Wendy.

I was also annoyed by Nikki Sex's constant plugs of her name and other published material.

I didn't like this book, so thankfully it was short and free, but it wouldn't inspire me to purchase any of her other work.

I posted my review on Amazon but thought I should put it here as well.

I received this book for free and I couldn't even make it through. I wanted to like it, I really did. In fact, the first chapter or two I DID! But then the author started advertising every fricken book she has ever written throughout the story. If it was mentioned once or twice, I would understand. But to literally quote ENTIRE paragraphs from her other stories was just too much for me. I felt like I was reading an advertisement. I got about 60% of the way through and deleted it. The concept of the story was actually cool but poorly executed. I also found that the characters were not very realistic in their emotions. For example, the whole first part or the book is about how upset she will be if her husband read her Kindle. Then when he tells her he did, she's not even upset? And what about the fact that her shy prude husband all of a sudden wants to start doing BDSM kind of stuff out of nowhere? Wouldn't she question what the hell was going on or where he learned that from? Ugh, save your time.

I love erotic romance and this is now at the top of my list. It is exactly what it supposed to be erotic and romantic.

It was so easy for me to see myself and my husband being in Wendy and Frank's situation, because after you have been in a relationship for a while we do tend to take each other for granted.

This story was definitely an eye opener for me, but not because of the actually sex acts. It was an eye opener because of the intimacy that the couple had after they shared their feelings and desires with one another.

I think that everyone, men and women, who have been in a relationship for a long while and the connection seems to be dissipating should read this. Better we should be reading it before we get to this point.

I have to say I kept thinking the entire time how lucky Wendy was to have a husband like Frank. He realized there was a problem and he set out to fix it. I know a lot of men who would not have been that perceptive.

I am going to be looking forward to reading more from this author.

The mysteries of life...such as "How many licks DOES it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?" or "How many orgasms can a woman have before she passes out from sexual overload?" Ok, so I'm joking on the former but the latter begs an answer. This book raises that question and so many more.
A delightful erotic novel that had me laughing to myself because so much of it was relatable. The whole kindle and passcodes really hit a nerve.
Nikki Sex makes an excellent point when she states "A woman's mind is geared to fantasy, while a man is visually focused". So desire begins in a woman's mind? Yes! Yes it does. And there's my favorite, "Deceit is a barrier to intimacy", no truer words have been spoken. Communication is everything, there's no room for shame when it comes to intimacy.
Do I recommend this novel, yes I do. I think both men and women would enjoy it and perhaps learn a thing or two from Nikki.
    Great novel...awesome author :)

After 13 years of marriage Wendy feels the sex in her marriage is lacking. She finds herself not interested in sex with her husband at all and would rather read her steamy romance books on her Kindle and fantasize until one day her husband accidentally takes Wendy's Kindle with him to work. Finding it password protected Frank wonders if Wendy is hiding something. When he cracks the password he finds Wendy's secret and decides he's going to study what Wendy wants and give it to her.

Instead of the usual hot and bothered at first sight erotic read this one does something a little different touching on how a married couple can lose sight of what pleases the other and get stuck in a rut sexually. Great concept from the author to let this couple not only bring the spark back but learn to communicate. Some women when reading this may want to hand it over to their husbands to give them a hint or two.

Overall, a great quick read in the erotic department.

    I really expected more!

This story is definitely one thing, HOT AS HELL! It was also sweet, intimate, and reassuring. I definitely found myself laughing out loud with this one. Sex is a thoroughly and vividly descriptive author. She creates a world that you are fully immersed in. She breaks down the Dom/sub relationship in a very straightforward and enlightening yet erotically entertaining manner.

This author has creates some surprisingly in depth characters for a novella. She brings forward certain aspects of her characters to light in order to bring you closer to them. The story is focussed on the main characters, with the secondary characters taking a backseat, but it just adds to the brilliance of the tale.

As a whole, this was an enjoyable, fast paced, quick and racy read. It is a phenomenal standalone novella, but extra layers appear if & when you read Carmen & Elizabeth’s stories (also by this awesome author).

  • Elaine

    This was a surprising freebie.

Wendy is married with 2 children and to be honest is finding her sex life with hubby a little boring and predictable. What she is enjoying are the erotic stories she reads on her kindle but more than that she starts to realise that her sex life has well and truly gone stale.
Her husband accidentally picks up her kindle by mistake leaving his behind.
He decides to have a little peep at what she is reading.
Shocked at what he reads he decides to re-evaluate his role in the bedroom....
    My thoughts
I enjoyed this, it was a very short story but it was a fun, sexy read and I'm sure a lot of women will relate to it...

  • Stacie

All I can say is I wish my husband would accidentally take my Kindle and proceed as Frank did. He is such a nerd and I love that about him. I loved this story. I loved that this couple had a 13 year loving marriage and three kids. I loved everything about this story kids and all. (I keep saying "I love" but I did) If you have been married for a while and the thrill may have dimmed some I think you will like this book. Plus it may give you some ideas. "Oops, sorry, babe I gave you my Kindle this morning by accident" Lol! Happy reading

  • Jennifer

I wanted to read this one, but I have issues about paying full price for a novella. When I got an email saying it was free....SCORE.

I loved it. You go Nikki making yourself a fictional character in your own book. AND...we got more Andre. This was a great quick, sexy read.

  • Stephania

It's super hot and currently free on Amazon for anyone to get their hands on! Enjoy :-)

    Audio-book: Narrator – K.D. Jackson

This was a very pleasant listen. The narrator did a great job of giving life to these characters. I didn’t struggle with her male voice at all. Her voice had the perfect inflection and rhythm to it.

Great story about a couple who have settled into life but left the passion behind. Wendy’s husband just doesn’t do it for her anymore so she spends her spare time lost in her ereader and reading about delicious relations between fictional characters then dreaming herself into their place. When her husband accidentally takes her Kindle by mistake he is confronted with all the naughty things his wife fantasizes about. Now it’s up to him to give Wendy what he wants.

I loved the way that Frank invested himself in learning how, what, when and where with Wendy. He was a husband determined to give her what she needed. Together they make it work as this change in their relationship opens up the door of communication which then opens another door for more changes.

This author has the ability to make you feel like you’re a voyeur in the best possible way as you watch her characters find trust and healing as they make themselves vulnerable to each other. I’ve loved each of her books despite the spanking or bdsm elements that are usually included.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Wendy and her husband Frank are approaching their 40's. They have been married 13 years and have teenage twin boys and a younger son.

Wendy loves her Kindle and loves reading erotic novels but Frank doesn't know. Wendy is bored with her vanilla sex life. She loves her husband but she wishes he would try different things during sex. As much as she hints to him he never seems to take the bait.

It made me smile when Wendy even takes her Kindle to the bathroom but her kids interrupt! She's always desperate to get the kids off to school etc so she can settle down with her erotic stories! That is until the day she discovers she has Frank's Kindle rather than her own. Realising he has picked hers up instead she panics that he will crack her password and read all her erotic stories and favourite lines she has highlighted!

The story is told from both Wendy and Frank's POV. I loved reading Frank discover his wifes secrets. Being a methodical man, he makes notes and works out the percentages of the things Wendy most wants to experience.

The author of course has herself as Wendy's favourite author and Frank reads quotes from the heroes from two of Ms Sex's popular novels (clever marketing!).

Frank waits a few days to suprise Wendy. What follows is a night of new sexual experiences for both of them.

I loved it! Clever idea Ms Sex...keep up the good work!

I love reading Nikki Sex books they are always hot. Wendy has been married for about 13 years and her sex life has cooled off quite a bit. She still loves her tall, handsome husband, but he just doesn't lite her fire any more. Wendy fills in with hot romances on her Kindle and her vibrator. However, she wishes that she felt more comfortable in telling her hubby what she really needs. One day on his way to work, her hubby picks up her Kindle instead of his own and takes it to work. Wendy calls him at work and mentions to him that he has picked up the wrong Kindle. He wonders why she would go to the trouble to alert him to this and decides there is probably something on her kindle that she doesn't want him to see. He manages to guess the password and gains entry to her fantasy world. "I thought for a minute this was my life story in my case throw in sick husband." This was a fun quick read. Frank takes advice from Frenchman Andre Chevalier who to me is the king of kink who is a character in some of her other books. This was a good story that I wish was longer.

  • Christy Wilson

First things first - a book that starts out with a sexually charged scene featuring Raylan Givens wins me over instantly. INSTANTLY.

This is really a short story, and it is a good one. My personal opinion is that every man or woman who is married or in a long term relationship who can see that his/her significant other is feeling less than enthused about sex needs to read this short story. I mean, don't get me wrong...there are some hot sex scenes in this book. But the author brings up so many good points about how couples fall into a rut, and the things that should be done to avoid that...it makes the story absolutely worth the read.

Ladies (and hey, gentlemen too), if your sex life is lacking then download the Kindle app for iPhone or iPad, or whatever device your SO has - it's free. As of right now, this short story was available for free which means you need to download it to their device after the app. Or download the book on your SO Kindle.

  • Rebecca

Although this story has dominance and submission through it, ultimately it's a sweet little love story about a happily married couple who are nearing their forties and have three children, but have a lacking, stale sex life.

And what Wendy wants...... her husband, Frank soon finds out when he by accident takes her kindle, and stumbles across her desires. And so he hatches a plan to have her all alone and bring some of these fantasies to life.

A sexy little number to read, full of passion and honestly. It's hard to think that a couple who have been together for many years wouldn't have discussed these problems sooner. But sex can be a taboo subject for many and this author has highlighted what happens in normal everyday marriages. I for one thoroughly enjoyed this book!

  • Kate

This is so much fun to read. Short, sweet yet sexy and steamy. Good book for men if they went to work on their skills.

Wendy's married with 3 boys and their sex life is suffering. Wendy reads smut and uses her BOB. That is until Frank her husband takes her kindle by accident. Absolutely bloody hilarious.

  • Jenifer Kleine

What a great relatable novella. Any married women addicted to romance/erotica should absolutely get this one. I love that a majority of married couples fall into this same rut, but this husband set out to change things! Maybe I should leave my Kindle open and on in front of my husbands face in the future.

  • John Gilbert

Fun premise, what happens when your husband mistakenly takes your kindle in the morning by mistake, then is able to decifer the password and discovers your stash of porn novels. As the romance and sex had gone on holiday after three children, the husband realises he is the problem and proceeds to rectify the situation. OK read.

  • Deborah

I totally enjoyed this book! Frank is so thoughtful to do what he does for Wendy! This book is endearing and oH so funny! I was cringing when Frank was reading Wendy's kindle clippings!! I know what's in mine-yikes! Another good one Nikki! Please read it! You'll be glad you did

  • Mummy's Naughty Corner

I actually enjoyed this and giggled at a few parts. The story was good and it's a relatable plot but saying that the one thing that hit me hard was the fact that he turned into the perfect Dom in just 3 days..... now in my world this would take a lot longer.

  • Kellie Maddox-Ward

I picked this up for free on Amazon..

It was a fun, sweet, hot raunchy read.

Basically Wendy and her Husband Frank have been married for a long time.. they have hit a rut..

She prefers her sexy stories on her Kindle and her Vibrator.
Unknown to Frank, his wife like reading romance.
    Not just romance, erotic romance.
    Well actually, smut.
Sexy, dirty, kinky, delicious and utterly sexually arousing smut.

Frank just assumes she isn’t interested.
Frank was embarrassed about his habit of watching internet porn, and consequently had never spoken to her about it. He had never joined a site just enjoying the free stuff. Jacking off in the shower was another thing he regularly did that his wife didn’t know about. Wendy wouldn’t mind, Frank was certain.

It all changes one day when Frank accidentally takes Wendy’s Kindle to work instead of his.

She freaks out! Frank can’t read anything that she likes..
Every suggestion she has made he has blown off.

“Honey, sometimes I think that you should pretend I’m your sex toy, like a game. Wouldn’t that be fun?”

“Hmm? Oh. Of course”, he had said hopping on top of her missionary style. “You know I love you, and sex is the best game in town.”

After all she married Mr Vanilla.
He will think she’s a freak.

After she calls him to tell him that he has her Kindle, he wonders why.
    What’s so important on there?
So he breaks into (it’s pass coded)
He finds all her sexy stories…
    And highlights…

He then gives her Kindle back on Wednesday like nothing has happened…
    Wendy is relieved…

    Little does she know

Being the investigative auditor that he is.
He has decided he needs things to change.
His loves his wife and she needs to be happy.

Treating this project like any other, Frank disengaged any other thought except his forceful curiosity combined with a dedicated attention to detail. Three hours disappeared before he had made his analysis of what his wanted to try during sex.

    Spanking 76%
    Submitting 65%
    Hair pulling 57%
    Neck/nape bite/nuzzle 55%
    Bondage 55%
    Oral (giving) 51%
    Oral (receiving) 46%
    Blindfold 30%
    Nipple pinching etc 30%

He has also read all the books that she has highlighted.
    Done internet searches
Joined forums and visited a sex store.

He can’t wait to try these things with her… A happy Wendy is a happy Frank.
He loves her and believes he is losing her.

He sends the kids away for the night on Friday night and takes her out to dinner.
All night doing everything he is supposed to do
“touching the nape”, constant contact, “neck nibbling”
Demonstrating possession is an alpha male trait, like in all those stories she’d been reading.

    When they get home?

BAM – HELLO DOM FRANK! And Submissive Wendy…

As I said, this is a raunchy little number…
    But it is also sweet!

Frank didn’t realise that they were in a rut, or how he hasn’t focused on his wife.
She was scared to discuss with him.
But in between the sex scenes they actually TALK
About how and why they got to where they are…

And also them re-connect and remembering why they love each other.

It also made me laugh! With lines like

    * * * *
“Honey, er… are your palms twitching?” She said out loud to herself in the mirror. Her lips curved up into a big ironic half smile. Frank would so never get that.
    * * * *
Were Wendy’s breast swollen? They should be.
    * * * *
He had read that G spot was apparently there.
    * * * *

I def recommend for a quick fun read.
One thing I didn't like? The Author flogging her other books. But hey you have to get word out somehow!

  • Nadine

Wendy loves her husband, but her sex life not so much. The spark she once felt has gone out. She would love to feel the kind of sizzle she reads about, not to mention try out some of their moves. Afraid her husband might think less of her for her sexual interests she builds up the nerve to finally ask for exactly what she wants. However, her husband surprises her and the tables are turned.

I really liked this one. It was a quick and fun read. Wendy's husband accidentally takes her Kindle to work one day. He hacks her password and gets an insight into his wife's desires. Instead of being appalled he takes it upon himself to study her favorite books and scenes and bring them to life for her. The result is a night of seduction, passion and honest communication that sets into motion a new level of intimacy for them.

*sigh* If only more husbands paid attention to what their wives read and acted on it. Don't they get it's a win-win?

I loved that Wendy's husband didn't just start the night off with hot sex. He took the time to rebuild a connection. He romanced her with dinner and dancing, light teasing touches, and compliments before taking her home to ravish her. Turns out he liked being the take charge-hair pulling-going to give you multiple orgasms till I succumb to my own needs-kind of guy. He was quite good at it too.

I'll be adding more Nikki Sex books to my TBR.

  • Stephanie

We all know that after you've been married for a while the flames die down and you're left with a glimmer. That's just a fact of life. This story shows how one couple refanned the flames of their sex life.

I really enjoyed the fact that this was a down to earth story that addresses a dilemma many married couples actually go through in real life. Obviously most of us pick up a book to escape the real world, and what happens in most books isn't usually very realistic. It was kind of refreshing to read something that you can totally relate too and can see happening in real life.

I'm not into BDSM or erotica books, and even though this was toned down, some of the language made me a little uncomfortable. But I could overlook that since that was just a part of the book, but not the main point of the book.

This was a pretty quick read, it took me less than 2 hours. I totally loved this story, and would actually recommend this book to anyone that's been married for awhile, men and women alike.

  • Charlene

Now that was fun! After picking up his wife's Kindle by mistake one morning, Frank is surprised to discover that his wife liked reading romance. "Not just romance, erotic romance. Well actually, smut. Sexy, dirty, kinky, delicious, and utterly sexually arousing, smut." Being the caring husband that he is, Frank decides to do some research and surprise his wife with a night she'll never forget...and boy, does he.

This one really hit home with me, as I think it will so many others in this post FSOG era of erotic romance and e-reading. How many women would love to tell their husbands their secret desires and spice up their love lives? Wendy is truly blessed with a caring husband who wants nothing more than to make his wife happy, and it's wonderful to see how the honesty improves their sex life and their marriage. Oh, and did I mention that this short story is seriously HOT? A prime example of the "smut" Wendy likes to read, complete with irreverent references to her other works of smut, Nikki Sex has given us another great story!

    5 sizzling stars!
