Could a victim of a killer have changed their fate if they had only glimpsed the handwriting of their killer first? Yes. If they had an opportunity to see the perpetrators hand writing and a little knowledge to interpret potential deadly psychological problems that penmanship can reveal. Can handwriting reveal if a person is a serial killer? No. However, it can show a propensity for it.

Bestselling author, Deborah Dolen, profiles many famous killers, including Jodi Arias and Drew Peterson, serial killers such as The Boston Strangler and The Night Stalker, and shares her opinion of who she feels Jack the Ripper and the Zodiac killer really were and why she came to those conclusions.

In the book, Dolen works hard to provide details about serial killers usually not discussed such as several were gentle lovers. Their spouses or girlfriends were never aware of the dual personality they lived with. The author contrasts almost comical details about how big a narcissist ego can be, for example, Wayne Gacy's. Gacy was highly insulted when compared with the likes of Jeffery Dahmer, who in his mind was the lowest of the low in the world of serial killers. Dolen shows why all serial killers are narcissists, although not all narcissists are serial killers.

Illustrations in the book ensure the reader should not have to use touch screen to zoom any example. The table of contents is also interactive and the book length is well above average for an eBook. After reading Dolen’s book, you will have a better insight about who not to hire as a babysitter, or who you may choose to marry.

Killer Handwriting is a long engaging read, with external bonus links. It’s one of the first eBooks to engage the reader and be interactive, by not only offering a profile and narration of a killer and their handwriting but also featuring links to fascinating media surrounding a particular sensational character when they are available. The links are not warranted because they can change and are not the work of the author. Many refer to YouTube segments over an hour long. A reader can really get into the time period and live in the world of a specific killer, with a better understanding of how their mind works.

Deborah Dolen is the bestselling author of Handwriting Analysis in Psychology, a short but to the point Kindle book on handwriting basics in general. She recognizes the importance of learning from a variety of experts, because it is hard to change positions on interpretations if the handwriting is from one instructor who simply fabricates meanings without reference to any universal agreement or another viewpoint.

Killer Handwriting: Analysis, Traits and Stories of Narcissists and Killers Reviews

I found this the most terrific book on handwriting analysis, if you're interested in learning about graphology, narcissists and killer-handwriting. The author has a gifted writing style and concentrates in this work on the analysis of psychopathic killers, their stories, and the traits that a graphologist will first notice, for example traits of narcissism and psychopathology. She used actual case studies and handwriting samples to explain the easiest to spot things, such as entanglement of letters or lack of slanting backward.

It is apparent to me Deborah Dolen has studied the life and writing of serial killers since many years. Ms. Dolen's superb research clearly proofs in her book, which is filled with dozens of illustrations, examples, and bonus external links to coverage she liked. As a publisher myself, I can only imagine what an impressive amount of research-work was necessary to write this book and to identify all these correlations between graphologically characteristics with mental and physical conditions, and forensic handwriting comparison. Dolen reviewed and analyzed handwriting of narcissist and killers in her book, from Jodi Arias, which I found fascinating and on point to Anders Behring Breivik, the "Norway Killer".

Exhibits show the original writing of these criminals, described. Just from reading Deborah Dolen's book I learned a tremendous amount about not only graphology, but also some of the social circumstances to be on the look out for. It is a very exciting read that might leave you breathless as it did me. Just like a thriller. It is a long book and much of it is stories about the subjects. Long is important to me. I don't tend to appreciate short books, unless they are priced as short books.

Killer Handwriting is an interesting and well written read by Deborah Dolen. I have read several graphology and handwriting analysis books but have seldom ran across one that has kept me riveted from start to finish as Deborah Dolen has done with her story of killers and narcissists. I'm thinking Dolen's "Handwriting Analysis" will be next on my reading agenda.
