Wow, what a twist. I sobbed at the end, poor people! Loved it though, plenty of romance, adventure and some good old ass kicking!

I saw this book recommended on a book blog and the storyline intrigued me, and seen as the main character is named KAT, l just had to read it!
The author A.K Jones very kindly gifted me a copy for an honest review...
Well, I just didn't want to put this book down!
If you like shifters, wolves and romance then you will like this book. But be warned... Like life the characters don't live in a utopian world, be prepared to have your emotions go on a roller coaster ride... But it's worth it!
At first I thought Kat was a bit Naive, but as you learn more about her odd family set up you can see why she's the way she is.
Kats a determined character, and when you read what the author has in store for her, it's a good job! She's a tough cookie underneath.
The area where the story is set sounds idyllic, where I grew up in the UK you would be hard pressed to do anything out of the ordinary without some nosey neighbour gossiping about it... Now I wish I had got to explore the rest of the UK a bit more before we flitted across the world.
The males in the story line are interesting too, I want to go shopping with Anthony! Jase, the main male lead has always been in love with Kat, but she never really saw this until the end of the story... But that's all I will say about that, he sounds an ideal man for a daughter, (and being a mum of a feisty daighter i know about this) a parent wants someone to love, cherish and protect their daughter.
I loved the way ms Jones has described the hierarchy and pack life, I could almost imagine running with the wolves!
The only part that got to me was where the words 'shift shape' instead of what my brain wanted to read... Shape shift, were used, but that's semantics... The author has tried to be a bit more creative in her descriptions, and not be like the rest of the many writers out there.
I would recommend this book, and give it 4 stars. And there's a long sneak peak at book two at the end of the book, and I'm off to go buy/download it now. -
Once I got my teeth into this book I so couldn't put it down!!! I do have to say at the beginning I though it was going to be one of those sappy ya shifter thing but it was so much more showing how life is constantly changing and having to deal with all the bad things in life while still holding onto the good and the ending omg!!!!I so ever saw that coming!!!! Can't wait to get my feet into "TRUSTED"

I was a little thrown off at first of how the story progressed and how the sentences all blurred together until you couldn't tell who was actually speaking, but once I made it passed that I was sucked right in. I have already purchased all the other books and can't wait to see where they lead. I would definitely recommend reading this series. If you can hang in there at first, I promise it gets better!!!

I really loved this book. The idea of soul mates and wolves make me happy. This one was well written and I thought the characters were awesome. While this book left me a sobbing mess, I knew that I would instantly pick up book 2!
