A Case of Mistaken Identity. . .

Young and rich, Kurt Nielsen is New York's most eligible bachelor. Except now he can't even bring himself to talk to a woman. How could he, after his last girlfriend took him to court? Kurt is still smarting from the injustice of it all.

Sick of his anger, his friends have bought Kurt a call girl. What could be better than a high-class hooker to cheer him up? The working girl will arrive dressed as a hotel maid, with an entire scene arranged.

Kurt has never paid for sex before and is uncomfortable with the idea, yet he agrees to meet her at the Hilton. But things don't go as planned when he arrives at the hotel two hours early.

Unknown to Kurt, when the maid walks into his suite, she isn’t his call girl. Carmen is an actual hotel maid, with a host of secrets and problems of her own. Sex-starved, Carmen simply cannot resist the carnal magnetic allure of Kurt.

Although they are complete strangers, sexual need and animal chemistry overwhelms them both. They quickly discover ecstasy together, again and again and again.

But what will happen when they discover their mistake?

I really like this short story... ahem... 100 page sex scene and it was AWESOME! There is a story and you get bits and pieces of it throughout and I REALLY want to know Carmen's back story! I know I'll get it later, but dang it, I want it now! This girl has a shady past and I cant wait to learn all her dirty little secrets.

This story has a little humor in it and I caught myself giggling out loud. Such as Carmen referring to Kurt as "Thor the God of Thunderous Orgasms".

Nikki Sex keeps dangling the carrot in front of me and I'm eagerly following. Something that I think is really interesting is that the common factor in all of these books is André Chevalier aka Sir aka Woman Whisperer.

I'm not sure why I haven't read this book before. I really liked it! It's about Kurt Nielsen who's jaded about women since his last girlfriend took him to court. His friends try to cheer him up by getting him a call girl. He agrees to meet her at the Hilton hotel and assumes when Carmen walks into his room that she is the call girl when she is really the maid.

Very good short story, though with all the sex going on the story was very simple and wasn't much there. However, this is part of a series so I'm sure more of the story will unfold. I have the other two stories in this series so I can't wait to read the conclusion.

My initial impressions of this novella? ‘Well, that’s one heck of a misunderstanding, but, wow! Just wow!’

This is a very well written novella. The author has got everything laid out in a logical and captivating way. Through her exquisitely put together scenes she paints an extremely vivid portrait of the encounter between these two star-crossed and situationally bound characters. I especially appreciate the fact that the author illustrates the difference between a Dom\sub relationship and an abusive relationship. It brings a great deal of things into stark clarity.

This novella has 2 very well developed main characters. Even with the short page count you get to know them intimately (no pun intended, but hey…). I really appreciate that the author’s main characters aren’t necessarily model-esque. Her female lead is a woman of typical means and typical physique, even if she has a difficult past. It makes the story seem all the more real.

Overall this was a completely captivating and very vivid novella that introduces you to extremely different yet quite compatible characters. The author tackles some difficult topics in a way that makes you think, while introducing you to the real world of Doms and subs. I couldn’t put it down and definitely can’t wait to read the sequel.

Please note that I received this novel free of charge from the author in exchange for an honest review.

As always Nikki turns up the heat. This short story was super hot Kurt’s friends hire him a high-class escort who will come to his hotel room dressed as a maid . He turns up early and Carmen an actual maid walks in and within minutes has her pinned up on the wall, she’s so turned on by her “Thor” the marathon begins. At the end the actual escort turns up, believing there was a connection between the two. Carmen is mortified to realize Kurt thought she was a prostitute all this time so runs out of his life. Having connected with her in a way he hasn’t with any other woman before Kurt runs after her. I love a well written story.

This was a freebie on Amazon... and I have to admit that I get REALLY aggravated when authors, instead of just writing a book, drop it out into the public in pieces in order to get more $$. But I really have to admit that I went ahead & bought the second one - it was really that good of a story! Sex scenes are intensely hot... but the character development is really what makes the story. Now if the author would just retitle so that when I read the title of the book I don't have a "boom-chicka-wow-wow" porn track running in the back of my head....

  • Crazy for Books (Stephanie)

Strangely enough, way too much sex and absolutely no story. I kept waiting to find out when they would figure out that she wasn't who he thought she was and for her to figure out what he thought she was. It was a meeting, with little back story about why he was there. Then all sex until the end when she figures it all out and runs out.

    What?!

I found this book HILARIOUS, just not in the good way. i believe the author thought her writing style to be WITTY and AMUSING, when in truth it was SO AWFUL you have to laugh so it won't make you cry.

before i start this review in earnest i want to make something very clear. i do not like BDSM. i don't understand it and can tolerate it in books when it's in the background or not pushed in your face on every page. this book, if you can call it that, was one prolonged sex scene between 2 practitioners of BDSM lifestyle. at least, author seemed to think so.

so, let's see what made this book so freaking funny.

    1. the popular believe is that bdsm is about trust. BUT there are rules. the way i see it, when you, an experienced Dom, are about to have sex with a new partner you know nothing about, even if she or he is a sex worker, you ASK THEM ABOUT THEIR LIMITS AND CHOOSE A SAFE WORD. YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SLAM THEM AGAINST A DOOR WITHOUT UTTERING A SINGLE WORD. it's not just rude, it is an ABUSE OF POWER. and you were surprised by the lawsuit? FUNNY.

    2. "...goosebumps rose on her skin, her stomach flip-flopped and her internal muscles clenched". wow. all of that at the same time? was she being electrocuted? Funny.

    3. "He had the natural musky scent of a strong, healthy male animal". sexy. am i the only one who wants to put a hand over my nose? Funny.

    4. "You're flooding down there, you're so wet for me. that slick nectar is pouring out - just like a river that's broken it's banks". what a tantalising picture. but what if he can't swim????? Not funny.

    5. "Then without warning he bit her hard, chewing her tender nub with his teeth" Ouch. No comments here.

    6. "...her cunt pulsed, milking him with the force of a Dyson vacuum cleaner..." Wow. there must have been some lonely days in Thor's past to make such a comparison. Not to mention it's not humanly possible. Funny.

    7. " Carmen knew that few had as much experience as she had with sucking or jacking off cock". What a wonderful talent, indeed. why not put it in you resume? Funny.

    8. "To be really good at something - be it languages, arithmetic or BLOW JOBS, - a person learned best when they were taught from when they were A CHILD". I kid you not. She said it. She put it in writing. Someone published it. Shouldn't those be arrested for such a disgusting slander? WHAT THE FUCK??????

    9. "insatiable little slut"..the soft ADMIRING way he said it made it sound more like SWEET words of endearment than insult". how lovely. kinda makes you want to put a bullet between his eyes. Funny.

    10. "Yes, but i'm the Dom", he said with a chuckle. "I'm allowed to LOSE CONTROL..." Are you, really? sounds rather promising, isn't it? and SAFE. Funny.

Honestly, i found this book REVOLTING. it should never have been published. or at least called a more appropriate "little slut's handybook", so there is no mistake what kind of DIRT it's about.

There are some sick minds out there, indeed. perhaps it's the author's time for an annual check-up with her psychiatrist.

In the end, i think that nikki *know nothing about* Sex, should try to find herself another profession, beacause she so obviously SUCKS at writing.

I downloaded this as a freebie but I didn't realise it is only Part One. This story is a 100 pages long, I would say 90 of those were sex scenes!

Kurt is a Dom but his last sub took him to court for physical abuse and suffering. She was a willing Sub but he guessed her mother saw her whip marks and pushed her into the court action. Kurt was disappointed things didn't work out with his ex. He would like to get married and have children. That was three months ago and he hasn't had sex since so his friends set him up with a high class call girl and book him into a hotel. The call girl will arrive dressed as a maid (and be accompanied by a man to protect her).

A maid enters Kurt's room and he is instantly attracted to this curvy hispanic woman. He normally goes for tall, slim, leggy blondes but this girl is small and a size 12.

Carmen has a mystery about her and it's obvious she is on the run from something. From her internal thoughts we learn a little bit about her. She has obviously been hurt by a previous Dom who was too rough with her. She sees Kurt and is instantly attracted (book cover is misleading as he is described as a nordic blonde!) and christens him Thor in her mind.

What follows is pages and pages of descriptive hot sex with a mild BDSM theme. What was good though is that Kurt is quite a caring Dom and you sensed their connection. I really liked Kurt. Carmen is still a bit of a mystery.

Kurt asks Carmen a few questions that puzzle her and just as he asks to see her again and she says no, in walks the proper Call Girl with her male escort and everything clicks into place for Carmen and she realises Kurt had assumed she was a prostitute!

The story will continue in the next book. I liked this and look forward to reading the next part.

Very hot - I spotted this while it was priced for free and it's a quick read being a short novella. Kurt is a Dom, who is hurt over allegations that he abused his ex sub, so he has remained celibate for 3 months and his friends try to pull him out of his slump by setting him up with a hooker in a hotel, dressed as a maid. He is reluctant, never having paid for sex before, but agrees and arrives early. In walks Carmen, unlike his usual leggy blonde types, Carmen is Hispanic and curvaceous and he feels an instant attraction to her and pins her up against the wall and seduces her, over and over. His attraction is reciprocated and the scenes were very descriptive and hot and you can feel the growing connection between then. There is a twist at the end, that I think was written with a view to the reader already knowing. The only reason I deducted one star was because I couldn't see anywhere in the description that this was not a full novella, that the story continues in other books. I will happily buy the next as I enjoyed this and would like to see how the story unfolds, but I do prefer to be made aware of that when I download a book, free or not. Recommended read if you like hot instant attraction and detailed erotic scenes.

  • Marcy Sue

This title is a gentle introduction to erotica. It has humor and scratches just beneath the skin of the reader that one might say there is some depth here. I was enchanted by Carmen not because she is your typical slim, buxom beauty but because the description of her makes her seem like every woman and any woman.

My personal mantra and teachings to my own children is safe, consensual and safe again. That seems to be what the writer is leading to. Carmen is a woman who craves safety but allows herself to be a fully sexual being with wants and desires. The details of sexual positions or proclivities is not the focus of the book from my point of view. There is something more to be found out about both Carmen and Kurt. Set in the city that never sleeps and where anything can and does happen, I could not have been happier to have had this as a light but entertaining read.

  • Cassie Hess-dean

Carmen works at the hotel as a maid. Kurt is a very successful construction engineer. Kurt's friends have paid for his hotel room and a call girl to try and take away some of Kurt's stress over his ex-girlfriend. All he knows is that the woman will show up dressed as a maid. So when Carmen's boss tells her to take some extra towels up to a room that is supposed to be empty, Kurt immediately jumps up and goes to her. They two of them are meant for each other. Kurt confesses that he wants to see her again when in walks the call girl dressed as a maid. Now the understanding hits Carmen about some of the things he has said to her. She doesn't know what else to do so she grabs the hotel robe and runs away...

  • Sophie "Beware Of The Reader"

OK, first book in the series and ...the title is really accurate! It's "hot monkey sex" and if you like lots of erotic scenes, this is your dream come true.

Carmen is "carnal" and loves sex. We guess she's been through deep trauma but it will not be revealed before book 2 (much, much, much darker!)
Kurt is "Thor" to Carmen (big, muscled, long blond hair and green eyes).
Carmen is the maid but he'll mistake her for an escort he is meeting at the hotel (she planned to dress like a maid). So, he'll litterally pounce on Carmen and will ... well make her climax lots and lots of time.

It's hot, scorching hot but they also have fun while f****** (Carmen giggles a lot). I think I've never read so many BDSM sex scenes in a book!

  • Sofia Lazaridou

Even though it's mostly sex I cannot place it on the porn book shelf. I felt there was a story waiting to be told and still hasn't. I was disappointed when the book ended because the story is incomplete. I wanted to see what's in store for them next after she left him and why his ex is calling him.I have two theories (she is pregnant or sorry, both of them are mine stupid theories so it's not spoilers). If you want to read this you should wait for all the books in the series to be released and buy them combined and not as a stand alone. Since this one is a freebie you can try it and see if you will waste your money later.

  • Tami

Carmen is a hotel maid and Kurt a wealthy business owner. His friends get him a call girl in an attempt to pull him out of a slump but Carmen walks in by mistake. Now suspend belief a bit for some super steamy sex. They hook up and boy is it HOT!!! While they hook up, as complete strangers, they start to realize they are completely perfect for each other. It does end in a cliff hanger but book two picks up where book one leaves off.

I definitely recommend this series for those who like BDSM erotica. It isnt for the faint of heart though so consider yourself warned. Totally worth it though!

  • Kimber

Holy Cow this booj was amazing and intense. Nikki knows how to write to keep the reader coming back for more.

Carmen is one hell of a heroine. She knows what she is looking for and jo matter how many tones she gets knocked down she gets back up and continues to fight. I will read the next books to learn more about her.

Kurt is strong, dominate, and sexy as all hell. The type of guy every girl fantasies about finding. His meeting Carmen wasn't perfect or what he expected but I imagine that won't atop him from getting her.

I cannot wait to read the next two books. I read this one in a matter of hours because it had me that captivated.

This book is super short but super hot! I cannot believe how well the author got us to feel the chemistry between the characters in such a short amount of time. The story and the sex scenes are very creative, different from anything I have read lately. This book is part one of a three-part series and I definitely was left wanting to read the next story!

  • Jeanie V.

Wow!!! If you want a sexy read, this book aims to satisfy!!! This first installment is nothing but S-E-X!!! Let me rephrase that. Hot, sexy sex!!!! And just when it starts to get really, really good...CLIFFHANGER!!! Yep, I was right there one-clicking for installments 2 and 3. I need to know what happens next! :)

  • Niki

This is a really good read with a pleasantly surprising story and plot. Good stuff. The ending just dropped me so now off to buy book two!

  • Christine

Wow- that was hot and super sexy- lucky Carmen! Kurt is the Dom that I have been looking for all my life. I can't wait to read what happens next!

I picked this up as a freebie back in 2013 and kept putting it off because the title just screams...cheesy. I wasn't wrong. After one chapter of back story to why Kurt is in the hotel room we get, literally, an 80 page sex scene. I.Got.Bored. I ended up skimming in a few places unfortunately.
The entire book "err I mean installment" takes place in about half hour to an hour tops. The entire time we are being told what happens, not shown. We get told about what they are feeling, but I didn't actually get to feel it for myself.

Right when the situation comes to light and I was thinking the story was finally going to get good....bam....cliffy.

No Thanks. I gave up that song and dance a long time ago. I LOVE series books, I strongly dislike installment books.

A great, well written trilogy. Love it.

Sex galore! But then, that's what it promised. If you are looking for a love story off the bat or a heart to heart, then turn away! While there is a story within all the sexing, that I figure we will be getting into within the upcoming installments, this was plain old shagging!!

The book span a couple hours, but within those hours we a treated to a lot more background than some 300 page novel, but we are also overly saturated with sex as well as prostitution and a Dom/Sub no holds barred relationship. All they needed was their own little play room to really get it on!

I only spent a couple hours with these characters but I love them. I like Kurt's playful side and how he takes a serious situation and gives us laughter out of it. Their meeting and getting together is quite unrealistic but comical and so passionate that you forget about how long they know each other and just enjoy the unadulterated sex and tips. Believe me ... I got some tips! ;)

Carmen is a silly girl who makes me laugh out of control with her lack of inhibition and her wanton need to please Kurt. Her way of thinking is definitely unconventional and I love the total reverse of her character as she is trying her best to play the part of someone she's not. The Latina is definitely apart of her though, even if she doesn't want to embrace it fully.

Scorching sex scenes, the making of a fun, intriguing and exciting series is a few things to sum up this novel. I can't wait to go further with these two, as I expect laughter, banter and incredibly delicious sex all over the place that span hours on end!

They might have just met, but they sure know how to get the party started! If you are a prude, turn away because 99% of this book is sex, lust and every sexual sin mixed with a little adventure and fun! It definitely promises to be a roller coaster ride!

This trilogy puts us front and center in the lives of Carmen and Kurt. They're from opposite upbringings but similar and connected on more personal and emotional levels that creates electric storms of pleasure. WOW--this trilogy takes you on just that...a powerful, psychological ride of pain, pleasure, and trust. This trilogy my first Nikki Sex read, which flew together effortlessly while providing us with the balanced amount of past and present. This book had me enthralled because as a therapist I love reading about why people do what they do and although several disturbing scenes took place during a time of kidnapping for Carmen, her courage and bravery was inspiring. And witnessing the woman she's grown to become is a powerful message. Kurt sounds like the ultimate hunk of an alpha male as a construction worker with sexy, calloused hands..ahhhh!!! Kurt is also protective while challenging Carmen to overcome her fears as he supports and comforts her every step of the way. This read took me several days-5 to be exact-because the scenes were extremely intense and my brain felt overloaded. While there was much "release" throughout the trilogy, I found myself needing breaks quite frequently. Some of the dialogue didn't sit well with me as at times it felt forced. I also craved more plot scenes outside of the bedroom, even though the "bedroom" scenes were beautifully detailed and I could feel Kurt and Carmen's connection and heat through my kindle. I've heard wonderful things from Crazy Caryn about Andre (whom Kurt learned his D/s skills) so Andre's books by Nikki Sex are now on my TBR. But don't hold out on Kurt and Carmen, because their story is heated, psychologically deep, and sweat-dripping hot! Give this a try!

This, for me, was far too heavy on the uncomfortable scenes... I'm no prude, I don't mind good sex scenes including a bit of BDSM, which there were a few of, but, I'll tell you my problem and you can decide for yourself how you take it...

The flashback memory to when Carmen was with her ex, really turned me off... it went on for like, almost a whole book, which was too intense for my liking, it could have been broken up a lot more and surrounded by some lighter scenes... and also, some of the language that was used I just don't know where it came from... I mean, feminine hole? who on earth says that?... for wealthy/posh people, their language, and the whole series to be honest, was seriously lacking in finesse...

Towards the end of the book it was getting better, but then it ended quite abruptly... I was almost at the end and wondered whether there was going to be another book I had to download to finish it off, but no, it kind of tied everything up within a couple of chapters...

I have to say that I have read stuff by Nikki Sex before and they have been quite entertaining without getting too deep, which is sometimes just what you need right?... anyway, I suppose it is what it is, it was free when I downloaded it which is a good thing... it entertained me for a few days but I think I'll take heed of other reviewers next time I pick up one of Nikki's authors books...
