A very large 2 volume book. I have finished the first volume. Easy writing style, very interesting history, especially concerning the early pioneer days of Texas Baptists. Some parts, such as detailed accounts of certain colleges and papers, were dry, but others were fascinating. The growth of Baptist churches from a handful n the 1840s to thousands within 50 years is an amazing testimony to their efforts at church planting, soul winning, and home missions.
I read the PDF in Adobe on my iPad and found that the file was excellent, with only a few very minor misspellings.
