She thinks she's lost the one man who really cared.

Shannon can't get Julian out of her mind - ever since that one wild night after his concert, she's been dreaming about him. A week has passed and he hasn't called, emailed, or texted. Just as she's about to give up on the one man who stole her heart, she opens the door to find true love waiting on her doorstep...

He can't believe she loves him for who he is.

Julian is the lead guitarist for the hit rock band Wilder Side, but is that all he means to Shannon? Torn by doubt, he can't help but think that his fame is the only thing keeping her interested. When he realizes his mistake, all he can do is throw caution to the wind and hope that she finds it in her heart to give him a second chance...

Can two broken hearts ever truly be repaired?

Going on Tour (Big Girl, #2) Reviews

  • Kyla

A bit dull. Felt like a rushed romance rather than a short and sweet love story with a beginning, middle and end. To much character building for a short story and sexy scenes didn't feel very immersive and/or real.

After their hot night together Julien fails to call or go see Shannon. Shannon thinks It's because of her curvy body, and he is just scared that the the first girl in a long time he has had interest in, only wants him because he is a rock star. After a conversation with bandmate Asher he decides to throw caution to the wind, and go see Shannon. Sparks and heat fly from there. this is another short story, that leads to the next. I wish I had gotten this box set now, not realizing how short the stories are. But I don't mind since It's a good story. Kudos to Shannon for being a sexy, confident , curvy gal. It's refreshing. And yes, not all hot guys love the skinny.

Ms Rose has chosen a difficult setting. There are some really great rock star based romances out there (think Sinners by Olivia Cunning) and sadly this is a case of falling short due to the quality of the company.

It was an easy read but because it was so short the story comes across as shallow and under developed.

I will def read on but I can already see the likely story progression just from the sneak peak we got of instalment 3 at the end of the book. Hopefully there will be some surprises.

This was obviously a tie between for books 1 and 3...not much to say about it really, it was a good read, nothing outrageous happened unless you count the sex scene. We did start to learn more about Julian's past and what secrets he holds in...
I am jumping right into the next book in the series, so far I am liking this series and I am glad to see that after reading some about Asher in this book he is getting his own series. I am still holding hope that Alex and Jason will get a book (hint, hint). Because lets face it everyone in the band deserves their HEA...

It was an ok and easy to read book. A nice sequel to Backstage Pass. I liked the characters, I liked the vibe between Shannon and Julian and I liked the fact that she wasn't dwelling on her image issues all the time. I liked her as a character.

It was so easy to read the one hundred and so pages seemed like 40 to me.

PS: Haven't they ever heard of SAFE SEX?

  • Lisa

Read as part of the complete box set. Really enjoyed these short stories, liked the characters, Julian and Shannon, including the supporting cast! Some lovely sweet moments and a few heart wrenching ones....but all leading to a HEA. Quick, sweet read.

  • Missy

Liked the first one so bought the second. Was disappointed on how short it was and how rushed it felt!

I will not be spending money to finish them. Not when I can get a true love story That takes days and days to read not a few hours.

    A romance

even though the story was short, it has all the elements of a great love affAir.
Love stories about falling in love with "not the normal" girl next door.
finding someone that touches your soul.

  • Genney Blass

4 stars, Oh Julian, Julian what a stubborn man! Still love him though.

  • Lora J.

I loved it but you are going to have to write longer stories it took me an hour to read $2.99 worth but it's a good read for me I'm a sucker for romance now I have to wait for next book thanks tho

  • Lyn

It's alright. Not much of a book if you ask me. Just blah...

  • Octavia

Shannon is living the dream. To meet a hot rock star, have wild sex and go on tour. The. Dream.

  • Lauren Seiberling

This story just keeps getting better! I'm truly happy I got the boxed set because I can't wait to keep reading!!!

  • BlebeTanja

The chick keeps tearing up. Not very attractive, and I would've run in the opposite direction if I was the guy who was with her, hanky panky or no hanky panky.

  • Charlie Torres

So in love with this series already. love the two characters, Julian and Shannon. can't wait to read the next book.

  • Cynthia
