Goodnight Tractor Reviews
-
Read for my toddler's bedtime. A goodnight story to the farm animals and equipments starting with the farm toys and animals in the boy's room. Then goodnight to farm equipments at work with its headlights on at the farm. The boy waved goodnight to mama duck and her babies at the farm. Then he went on to feed the pigs and waved goodnight to the sheep. He then drove the tractor home. A great series to read for kids at bedtime!
Thank you Sourcebooks Kids for the opportunity to read and review! -
A favorite bedtime book of the boys. They like pointing out things in the illustrations that match the words.
Many thanks to ‘Desha’ for giving them this book. -
This has quickly become by son's new favourite bedtime read. He brings it to us every night and loves pointing out the tractor on every page (we're obsessed with tractors right now!).
The beauty of this book is similar to that of Goodnight Moon. It focuses on the repetition of the word "goodnight", following a little boy as he says goodnight to all of his favourite farm yard animals and vehicles. This technique is so helpful in a bedtime routine and getting your little down to sleep.
The illustrations are adorable, the rhyming is lovely, and there are some animal sounds thrown in which my son loves to hear. All in all a wonderful bedtime book, particularly for those tiny humans who love farms and tractors! -
We had to race through this the first time my Dad and I read it because I was very tired and getting cranky. I was also stoked to wear my merino night blanket for the first time. I love merino wool already.

I purchased this book for my grandson-to-be and I am so glad that I did. We are a farming family and so the title of this book called out to me. I purchased it without knowing anything about it other than the tractor. I must admit I was hesitant because the cover tractor is red (and we are a John Deere establishment) but was happy to see that the illustrator has a green combine; therefore, things even out. LOL The storyline is about a little boy saying goodnight to various farming implements, machinery, and farm animals in a rhyming verse. It took me back to when I read "Goodnight Moon" to my little ones. I cannot wait to share this adorable book with my grandbaby. I know it will be a favorite. Thank you to Michelle Robinson, author.

Cute! Rhyming lyrics and great pictures. My son really enjoys reading this book - and pointing to all the things he can find in the pictures.
