There are many who believe that Roger Federer is well on the way to becoming the greatest ever tennis player. His astounding all-around ability has led to him being labeled as one of the most complete players the game has ever seen. By winning three of tennis' four Grand Slam titles, he has posted achievements that the legendary Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe could never match. This definitive and affectionate chronicle traces his rise to fameā€”from his first tentative strokes with a tennis racket to how he handled the sudden death of his first real coach and mentor. Behind the on-court superstar is a man for whom winning is just a small part of his motivation. His professionalism and his work for the Roger Federer Foundation have won him huge amounts of respect from both his fellow sportsmen and tennis professionals alike. Written by an acclaimed tennis journalist, this is the ultimate portrait of one of the greatest sportsmen of any era.

Fantastic Federer: The Biography of the World's Greatest Tennis Player Reviews

I think this biography of Federer is pretty damn good, considering he hasn't written an auto-biography. It's really well written in depth of from when he was young to when he was in his peak of his best years. Great book!

A somewhat shallow take, poorly edited, has some intimate details that warrant a pause, but unfortunately, fails to go into any reasonable depth. If you're a Federer fan, you'll surely find some reward. A nice entry level book geared towards a 14 year old interested in tennis.

    Great player. Absolutely crap writing.

It's OK. I recommend we wait until his real biography comes out
